hey, zach is 4 1/2 months old and he does the same thing with arching his back!!!! it's crazy!! he starts freaking! i dont know whats up w it! let me know if you find an answer:)

mama2Fiona - Sunday, 24 August
My daughter is doing the same thing! She is very curious and would rather look around at all the new fun stuff than eat! Or sleep for that matter (sometimes.) I just try to go to a quiet place to nurse her.. a familiar place hopefully... but that doesn't always work. I have gotten in to the (bad?) habit of nursing her in our bed, then moving her to her bed. I don't know....:)

NewBeginings - Sunday, 24 August
shes getting nosey~! lillian does that all the time now when there is other stuff going on cuz she wants to see whats going on. Thats why they like the bottle cuz they can see whats going on and eat. So if i am gonna bfeed i bring her to a quiet silent place where shes got nothing to distract her and she eats alot better.

mom2boy - Sunday, 24 August
Jamison has been like that somewhat for the last couple months. If she is like that on the bottle too I am guessing it is that she has decided there are much much cooler things to look at rather than eat. At least I know that is Jamison's deal because when he is sleepy he nurses great, when he is wide awake and wanting to play he is looking around, babbling, etc. He'll take a couple sips and pull off then back and all over again and again. It drives me crazy sometimes. I wouldn't worry about her, and I wouldn't bother pumping and offering bottle especially if she is distracted on the bottle as well. I talked to a LLL member and she said "don't worry he will eat when he is hungry" Now if your baby is underweight or not gaining that is a different story.

Thank you, im trying to get everything planned for when baby arrives in November, im looking forward to it and want to do whats best for her and for us aswell, Ive brought some milk thats closest to breast milk aswell a first stage to combine breast milk (though not first baby milk) so im hoping this is ok,? Ive been told not to mention to my midwife about my plans for feeding and just do what i feel is best,!!!, Other babies who have been on this milk have never had colic which my other daughter suffered with very very badly,

Thanks for advice,xxxxxxxxx

mommad - Wednesday, 20 August
My right breast is always the winner. It produces faster and more!

starby - Wednesday, 20 August
Dont worry, I definately have a faster flowing boob! Not only that but I pump about twice as mush out of it consistenly. What bottles are they using to feed your little one during the day? You definately want something that has a slower flow and is somewhat like the breast, I know they all say that though...I think the playtex dropins nurser is pretty good and I know the Playtex vent air is nice and slow but I dont think they are making a BPA free version of it right now. We have tried so many bottles its not even funny, I have a whole rubbermaid container full of the rejects, hee hee.

Jacq98 - Wednesday, 20 August
LOL- not a freak...my left breast always had more milk than my right- and i could spray all angles out of one and only a few from the other-

Jacq98 - Wednesday, 20 August
Nursing: My daughter was a fussy eater and I did the same- pumped breast in bottle at work and when home- breast. SHE did the same thing- screamed bc my milk wouldnt let down soon enough- I was encouraged a few things: start to feed before the baby gets to crying and frustrated... BUT- make sure your breast is ready... put a hot washclothe on the breast to help your let down , massage them, or jiggle breasts. sit back relax intentionally then take the baby on the breast- HOT WASH CLOTH worked like a charm for me... and adding not letting her get to crying or whining for food- my daughter would be so hungry she would suck so hard it was like a turn off valve... lol- wierd- but relax hot wash cloth and then baby - GOOD luck...

daisymum2be - Monday, 12 May
Happy due date!! x

daisymum2be - Thursday, 24 April
Hiya! It sure was - was refreshing to talk to someone that didnt winge at me, lol. (or run away when jealous about my shoes...)
But it WILL be any day now, my dear. Once you're past 37wks, baby's just waitin for the right moment to spring itself on ya. Fully cooked, just seasoning! lol
So are you dilated more today?
And thanks - he says he knows he's adorable. Cocky little bugger. Hope you're doing ok, preferably popping out a sprog. x x

kimevansandt - Tuesday, 22 April
It's good progress but it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to go soon. I have been 4cm dilated, 80% effaced, -1 station for THREE weeks now!

OurBabyBean0508 - Tuesday, 22 April
you're effacing and dilating well but -2 station means your baby hasn't dropped yet, so you need to get out and walk!!! Make that baby drop! lol

mommy2ck - Tuesday, 22 April
yup - i just had a vaginal exam this morning, and around 1pm i lost my plug. i've heard that it's pretty normal for that to happen after being examined.....it can also lead to contractions! i'm keeping my fingers crossed!

lulu81usc - Monday, 21 April
Hey I saw your post. I had an exam on Friday and my doc of course checked me and I've barely done anything which means my induction I'm having this Friday may be a doosey. Well, when I went to use the bathroom once I got home, I had some spotting too. I haven't seen any spotting the whole pregnancy and then the next couple of times I saw the same thing you did, light brown tinged discharge. I figured it wasn't quite enough to be my plug but maybe it was a little part of it. I have another appt tomorrow and she'll do a vaginal exam again. We shall see whats going on down there.

lovemysoldier - Monday, 21 April
Hey good luck and i hope everything goes alright..This is my 2nd pregnancy and i think im about as nervous as the first time (with labor and delivery) But im sure you will do just fine

MelGrl - Tuesday, 25 Mar
I appreciate your encouragement. I think that the baby is sucking up the brain cells I have left so the encouragement means a lot right now. I count my blessings that I have had an outstanding pregnancy as well so overall, things are fantastic. I just hope to be productive in my last six weeks!

mylady - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I had that whith my first son the doc said it was due to my abdominal muscles splitting in the end it cause a hernia. which I still have now even with this preg. I intend
on getting it repaired, my doc said tummy tucks fix your muscles. but I would ask your doc if that is what it could be.

lynnkc - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I just noticed the tenderness yeaterday morning. I think you are right about the stretching. What we go through. Mene could never handle it

PREGOMOMMY - Wednesday, 12 Mar
babygirl, i feel my skin around and on my belly button hurts...i was driving and my steering wheel was touching it and it was a bit painful, and very uncomfortable.

knockedup - Wednesday, 12 Mar
It's funny you happened to make the bellybutton comment...Last night baby's daddy was making fun of how huge mine had gotten and put a quarter in it, lol. I wanted to slap him. Mine's been a little tender too, and the skin where I have my navel piercing is tight as a drum. That's where it's the most sore. I've had it for 8 years, but it's starting to get pretty uncomfortable. Anyway, I'm certain it's from the stretching. I'm trying lots of lotion/oil and it seems to help.

keri282008 - Monday, 3 Mar
