It's a BOY!! Jayden is his name :)

Jayden was born March 5th 8lbs 1oz 19 1/2 inches long. I love him so much, he is my world!!

My name is Kelli, I am 22 years old and on my second pregnancy but this will be my first baby. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks a few years ago. I was happy to find out I was pregnant however I was scared about miscarrying again. I had morning sickness and I was happy because I never had that with the first so I knew this baby was going to come into this world healthy. At 6 weeks I had some light blood so I got a shot of Microgam because I am RH negative and I rested and it went away. At around 7 weeks I had a gush of blood and my fiance and I immediately went to the ER. I for sure thought that I was miscarrying again but then after we were sitting in the room, all of the sudden I stopped crying and I was happy and said ok lets go home. It was the weirdest feeling I have ever had, it's like I knew my baby was going to be ok. We went home and I was on bedrest from the ER doctor. The next day we went to my normal doctor and she said not to be on bedrest but I knew in my heart that I needed to rest in order for this baby to be ok. I pretty much stayed in bed well when I wasn't sick, up until about 12 weeks pregnant. I am now 26 weeks pregnant with a healthy boy and I couldn't be happier. He will be the first grandson for my parents as they have all granddaughters.

I have thought about using the Burt's Bee's but heard that only some of the items are all natural and I would like to stick to one brand. Where do you buy the Angel Baby?

I know the docs say cereal doesn't make babies sleep longer but I swear it worked for us and honestly, what can it hurt at this point!? Goo luck!

That sounds right on then. Nate was born at 38 weeks (maybe even less if you ask me) and he's 15.6 and 26in. I don't know how many inches 40 cm is but Nate's head is17 and a quarter inches.

How did you know your son had sleep apnea? What were the symptoms that caused you to worry?

I actually got them at walmart for like $2 or $3.

THanks for your kind message about the breast pump situation! I really appreciate everyone's support.

unfortunatly with Sam it is just survival :-) I try to take a bath with him then have some cuddel time before bed. I havn't read to him as much as I did the others. Between him and our foster daughter there is barely time to sit and nurse. As far as books my older 3 enjoyed as babies....They all really like dr.suess books. They love the sing song rythm to the words as babies. We have a lot of Margaret Wise Brown books also, Goodnight mood, the Good night book... I read them in a very soft voice and the kids really like the tone of them.

I just read your comment about reading to baby. I read to my first all the time. We got a lot of books at my baby shower for her. She had some mild colic those first few weeks and after pacing the floor in the middle of the night I just sat down with her and started reading beatrix potter books softly to her and she calmed right down...It was amazing and became our little routine in the middle of the night. She is now going into the third grade and is reading at a 5/6th grade level. Once she got older it became part of our bedtime routine and carried on with our second child, she is now going into kindergarten and is already begining to sound out a lot of words. I don't think she'll be quite where her sister is at but she certainly has a love of books. It is a great idea to do start reading this early.
