Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

hey, i wanted to let you know about the nuk system. they have paci and bottle kits, the nipple is slightly flat on one half. my son doesnt really mid the paci so i went and got the bottle nipple. he didnt scream or gag himself on it but he wasnt sure how to suck. its a lot cheaper and you can practice with the paci till they get used to it. the nipples are pretty standard and cheap (avail at target) and they fit a standard bottle. maybe it could work for you.

I am in the same boat as you as well!! My baby will not take a bottle! She is 3 months old and we have been trying atleast once a day for 2 months and she still wont take one! We have been through just about every kind of bottle and nothing works! Its pretty hard for us bc I have gall stones and have gall bladder attacks alot and when I have an attack I have to have pain meds and she has to take pumped milk in a bottle for atleast 12 hours. She just ends up screaming the whole time and wont take the bottle at all!! A cpl of times depending on the pain meds they have let me give the breast back to her a little early bc of the situation. Its so awful!! I also need to have my gall bladder removed but cant bc she wont take a bottle and needs to for atleast 24 hours after the surgery!! So if you find one that works plz lt me know!! If I haven't tried it already I will def give it a try lol....

try Avent bottles (have bigger, more breast like nipples). My son likes them and has no problems switching to breast. make sure to get age appropriate nipples (size 2)

Hi.. I had my hands go numb and to 'sleep' earlier on; when i was around 20-28 weeks pregnant; my doc said it normally happens in the 3rd tri though.. it was scary as I would wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to feel my hands! I would shake them and the feeling would come back. It is called pregnancy related carpal tunnel - my doc said its caused by build up of excess fluid pressing on the nerves in your hand. It goes away once u have the baby, or u can get a splint - which keeps your hand straight overnight - ask your doc if its bothering you, mine just went away on its own. : )

oh wow you guys have everything ready already that is awesome! I thought I would be done by down but we still have a bit to do. I can't wait to be done because then my husband and I are going to have some fun and relax - go to the park, movies, out to dinner. Hopefully I will finish this weekend and then we can enjoy some time together.

Hi there! The doctor confirmed at the ultrasound at 32 weeks and I can feel the head above my belly button and a little to the right. It feels like a hard round lump. I think the baby shifted down last night, I feel it in my pelvis, but I think it's the butt still!

Thanks so much for the comments on the nursery. I really like the way it is coming along and think my husband is doing a really great job with it. I come up with the ideas and he does all the work. Congrats on your pregnancy. How is everything going?

i have never had v8 juice. what does it taste like? i am soooo scared to try anything new. i do drink lots of orange juice and i like to eat sour apples but that is about it. oh, i do eat soybeans, i heard those were good for you. but anything else, BLAH!!!! my husband is very irritated at me for not eating better.

Thank you so much for posting about the umbilical cord. I'm so glad to hear that, I havn't had a chance to ask my doc yet. Since that post about that happening to someone so late in the pregnancy, its been a worry for all of us. Thanks again!

Hope you're feeling great!
