I am 26 years old and my husband and I are expecting our first baby July 23, 2008. We could not be more excited. We had a miscarriage in August of last year, and we feel like this baby is our little miracle! We are having a little boy and we have decided to name him Liam Riley. I love being pregnant more than anything, but I can not wait hold my little boy!

Wednesday, 17 September Awww thanks.. well she barely started about a week ago or sooo.. I was really concerned she seems to be a little behind but she was also born 2 weeks early, her due date was actually July 14th but she was born June 29, i know every baby is an individual but i just cant wait till she shows me some real concrete evidence that she is happy, she always seems like she's in a bad mood

Friday, 12 September wow this looks so helpful! Thanks a lot. You are a peach! Well she is 10 weeks on Sunday, but at week 9 she was 12.1 pounds so I know she is above average on how much she weighs. At 8 weeks she was 11 pounds 13 ounces so from Thursday to Monday she gained 4 ounces so like an ounce a day. Is that good? netters -
Friday, 12 September If you think it was a smile it probably was! When Katie started smiling she would only do it occasionally and only in the mornings. Then she started to smile a lot but still only in the morning. Now she smiles all day long. I think all babies have certain things that they develope quickly at and some things take longer than "average". I hope you get tons of smiles soon! AndreaB -

Thursday, 11 September I don't know if this will help - but at work we did a "pop star" theme party. Everyone had to choose a star to dress up as. Party favors were sunglasses. Games were "drop the needle" in a variety of pop songs people had to guess the artist and title. Decorations were magazine covers and photos of "Stars". I couldn't believe it, but everyone got into it, even the general counsel for the company dressed up and sang and everything. Yikes! Good luck! It's a great idea. pipsmom -

Thursday, 11 September Do you have Guitar Hero? You could play games with that for little prizes. And you can program your iPod to only play songs with Baby in the title. Another game - put names of rock stars in a hat. Get people to pick one (without looking) and stick the name to their forehead. Then you have to guess who you are by asking yes/no questions to other people. Danetteplusbaby -
Thursday, 11 September play this game with the teens at church and everyone has so much fun: Split room into 2 groups and then give them a word...then each side takes turns coming up with a song that includes the word...they must be able to sing at least 7 words from that song including the word asked for (baby, love, mommy...ect). If a team cannot come up with a song in a min then the other team gets a point and has first crack at the next word. No repeat songs for duration of game (we call it American idol, but any name works). also can decorate with music notes in blue or pink emmasmommy -

Wednesday, 16 July Just wanted to let you know that I told my doctor about the decrease in movement, everything was fine he said it's just because there isn't any room left in there for him to move so actively anymore. As long as baby's heartbeat is good and your blood pressure is good, baby should be just fine so I wouldn't worry.

I layed with my shoulders on the bed and my ass in the air.I advise you not to do this when there are people around for it is hghly a scene, but my doc told me to do it for 30 mis each day and he is now head down and had dropped. Monday, 14 July Hello,
Just wanted to let you know that I have a bunch of rib pain, but my little man has been head down since 34 weeks (I just had his position confirmed again today). I also have tons of pressure down below when I walk for any period of time. I think the other ladies are correct in thinking that if you have no pressure down below that he may still be breech, but I don't think that the presence of rib pain is a very good indicator. Hope this helps...
