We've been married for 2+ years and are extremely overjoyed about becoming parents! The baby's sex is a mystery as we want to be surprised! During our 20 week ultrasound, our baby threw up his/her legs and played with his/her feet the entire time~it was a beautiful moment for us to see our miracle moving and playing! We've been given a due date of 10//29, which happens to be the same day of our 3rd year wedding anniversary- lots to celebrate!!

Well tomorrow is my appt, I'm hoping the doctor strips my membranes instead first. Then if that doesn't work then he will induce me. But I'm pretty sure by this weekend I will have my baby girl

It's kinda stressful though isn't it haha wondering when the day will come!

We named our son Eric Paul Lee Schmidt. Kind of a long name, but Paul is after my husband's brother (who died suddenly two weeks before our son was born), and Lee is my maiden name. Your son's name is so cute! How is everything going?

lol... i like the little Bud or Rosebud name.. cute! I'm ready to meet my little girl as well. I am really feeling the pressure in my lower abdomen. Omg already!! You are super close, well closer than I am at least! I'll be 37wks on Saturday so I'm not TOO far behind you. I feel the same way my pregnancy went really fast and I was 5 weeks when I found out! Oh well I don't know how you held out for so long I couldn't wait for the day they would be able to tell me what I was having haha. My Hubby didn't want to find out but I sure did! Then I finally convienced him to change his mind and he did. Aww thanks I wasn't too fond of the name really ha my husband picked her first name and I picked out her middle name. But it grew on me and all my family knows her as Valeria now so no turning back! Well I'm Mexican American and my Husband is Mexican (born in Mexico LOL) So I have always wanted to name my kids Spanish names, but I love Makayla ALOT and the boys name you've picked out. Hmmz for Makayla I'm not sure what kind of middle name would go nice with it, how about Isabel

. or Andrea, Isabella Gabriela or Alejandra? I'm sure whatever you choose will be just fine! Plus I already know everyone is going to call my daughter Valerie instead of Valeria.

Yeah, so far, they're saying a c-section might be likely. Our little bean flipped to breech sometime between 32 and 34 weeks, and we have an U/S to confirm his position this Wednesday. If s/he's breech, then I either have to do a version or a c-section. I'm not keen on the version, so I'm just going to go with the c-section, in that case. I've heard good things about Good Shepherd in Barrington, too

I have three more weeks at work!

Hi there! Good to hear from you! Can you believe how far along we are now? It could really be any day now!!

We're still waiting to be surprised ~ and I have an appt today, but I'm pretty sure (99.9%) that our little bean is still breech. I truly feel okay with that, though ~ I will do whatever is necessary to be sure that our little one gets here in the safest way! God has got a plan, so it certainly isn't my job to figure it out, right?!?! I just have to do what I have to in order to carry it out! How are you feeling about the possibility of a c-section?
