Hi I am 36 & i am having my 3rd child. I have a son who is 17 who graduates this year, a daughter who is 15 and will drive soon, a stepdaughter who is 8, and a new baby on the way....go ahead & giggle it is a lil funny I could have grandkids that end up growin up with this little one.. I am so excited & despite all my Dr.s repeated badgering for genetic tests due to my age i am Looking so forward to lovin this baby however i recieve her from the lord. the only test i Have taken is the quad screen & then he got me all alarmed with the results so i had an u/s done by a high risk specialist& all looks normal no signs of abnormalities in any thing so i refused an amnio at that time and came home & talked to my great kids & they just like me & my hubby all said we will love her just as she is sent here..one of sweetest thing my son ever said is if the risk is 1 in 200 you will have a downs baby & u are chosen to recieve this baby it is a blessing & u can handle it cause you can handle me & the risk of losing a healthy baby due to amnio was the same as my risk for downs... I as her mommy feel like everything is fine .
