This will be my 5th child, and the first for my fiance. This was quite a surprise for us, we just found out last week. I thought I was only 5 or 6 weeks until an ultrasound showed I'm 13 and a half weeks! We are both so thrilled because in February of this year we miscarried at 16 weeks. We had decided that we wouldn't try again because we were just too scared of something going wrong again.
I think maybe it's a blessing that we didn't know until now because it saved us 13 weeks of worry. Now here we are, pretty much out of the woods as far as the "danger zone" goes.
An unrelated trip to the ER for a possible kidney problem caused the doctor to order an ultrasound so we got to see right away that the baby is doing just fine.
It's been one crazy week but we couldn't be happier :)

Girls, I'm offline for 12 days!!! I just want to tell you all I won't be online again til the 18th of Dec. I'm leaving for England tommorrow. Thanks all for your love & support through these past 6 months. I admire all of you for your different ideas & personalities. ((Hugs)) Sam
