Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Monday, 8 September The way i got my baby to sleep at night was to try and keep her awake during the day, playing with her also not feeding her when she demanded.I made her wait an extra half hour.I used to feed her and she would fall asleep at the bottle then be awake all night because she had slept all day,i found making her wait half hour extra and keeping her busy made her more awake so when it came to night time,i fed her when she wanted to be fed which made her sleep. She wakes every 4 hours to be fed, sometimes 3 hours but on the odd occasion, she goes 5 hours. thepar -
Wednesday, 3 September Congratulations! So you weren't dialated AT ALL and then dialated to 8cm within a few hours?!? If so, then maybe there is hope for me! MikeysGirls -

Saturday, 26 July Thanks so much for the reassuring words. It really does bring comfort to get that straight from someone who's gone through the same thing. I've just really let these symptoms (and lack of them) take control of my mind! Congratulations to you! How amazing it must be at week 36 to know you'll be holding your baby soon. The very best to you! JoAnneMichelle -
Thursday, 24 July Oh bummer, I wish you luck in finding classes! And good luck with a painfree (yeah right) delivery! JoAnneMichelle -
Wednesday, 23 July Our classes are at the hospital I will give birth at, and we had to pay for all of them. The only thing our hospital has for free is the hospital tour (which you wouldnt need anyway). I have founf the classes to be really helpful inspite of the fact that we had to pay for them. Good luck! :) myfirst=baby -

Thursday, 17 July I noticed that you siad your hospital doesnt have birthing classes - did you check to see if any other hospitals in your area have them? There are people in my classes that are delivering at other hospitals. :) jrenee -
Thursday, 3 July I had my check up this morning. My OB didn't seem to be too knowledgable but did say they use mineral oil in the hospital so she recommended that. I don't know about that one, personally. I think I'll do more reading up on primrose oil, and I'm going to see if my hubby is willing to start doing the perinneal massage soon, I think they recommend starting in week 34 - so that's right around the corner. jrenee -
Wednesday, 2 July Yeah, I've read olive oil, primrose oil, and a few others. Did your midwife say why she prefers the olive oil? In the bath... that makes sense. I am seeing my OB tomorrow morning, I'll see what her opinion is too. Good luck - I'll be curious about how it goes in the bath tub! liberty -
Wednesday, 2 July Hi Baby mother,
Good to hear from you again. I think last night was the first time I experienced Braxton Hicks. My stomach went hard bu then I thought it could be baby moving around. I thought how will I know when I am having real contractions! Panic!
Bet you can't wait to go on maternity leave! I finish work in 2 weeks. Looking forward to it but not looking forward to watching the 4 walls at home! Rather be at work as the days go by quicker but I can feel myself getting slower and slower and I am quite heavy.
Names? I am looking for a French name. My partner likes Amelie. I like Natalie. Its still up in the air.
I've brought a few clothes for baby and have packed my hospital bag and babies cause really I could go into labour between now and 8 weeks. Scary thought. Got2 be prepared I guess.
Not wrote a birth plan yet but midwife is coming to do that with me when I am 36 weeks. I'll be 33 weeks this Friday and I can't believe it.
Scan went well. Could not see babies face as she was looking towards my spine. Sonographer said I am going to have big baby which worried me. She's estimated the growth at 5 pounds! No wonder my legs feel like they are going to give way. But she said a growing baby is a healthly baby and I should stop finding things to worry about. I tend to!
Have you decided what pain relief you will be having or you going to do it without?
Have your child benefit forms etc yet?
Speak soon.

Monday, 30 June Hi there. Yes, I am planning to do the Perineal massage when I hit around week 34. I've been training myself with hypnosis and will have a drug free birth, part of the preparing is the massage, to avoid any tearing or needing to be cut. I haven't gotten any oils yet and I must admit I'm a little curious to see how it will go! My husband said he'd help, that should be interesting! Have you tried doing it yet? liberty -
Monday, 30 June Hi Babymother,
I am in Birmingham. I was 32 weeks on Saturday. Can't believe how quick time has gone but slow at the same time if you know what I mean! I think I've come to the stage now that I am bored. I just wanna see her. Because of the way I feel at the moment which is really heavy, and quite drained, I ams o looking forward to labour cause I know she is coming out. I just don't want to be in labour forever! I just hope I don't bleed for quite a bit after. That's my fear or that there are any complications. I have alarge fibroid which sits at the top of my fundas so that caused me a litte bit of problems in the first 4 months but all seems to have settled down now.
I still don't think it has quite hit me yet that I am going to be a mother and this baby is coming in 8 weeks. Maybe sooner! I keep waiting for something to go wrong. That's just me.
I have my 32 weeks scan today at 1:45pm so I am looking forward to seeing how much she has developed.
Have you got names yet for your baby?
Is this your first child?
Have you got all you need now regarding equipment/all prepared?
Keep in touch

Monday, 16 June I don't know about the traditional indonesian exercises, but I do know that prenatal yoga is FABULOUS, especially for your back and legs...the two main parts that feel overworked at this stage in the game! blessings fellow mommy! Berrymama -
Tuesday, 10 June Thanks for you response to my home/water birth inquiry. I have had overwhelming response regarding the topic and many so far are considering it and a few who have done it have had great experiences. I am going to check around the city to see what hospitals offer waterbirth (if any). I don't have a midwife, but will be making a phone call on tommorow to inquire about some here in my state. I really want to experience this pregnancy in a different way. I watched the video "The Business of Being Born" and it has greatly influenced my way of thinking. Thanks again and please keep me posted on what your midwife is like and what she has to say! camilleldj28 -
