Hey Everyone!! Im a first time Mommy! And very excited!! And nervous at the same time!! My husband and I were married October 31, 2007 and live in Houston,TX. We are very excited for this next chapter in our a lives and would love any advice!!

March 19, 2008

I had my first doctors appointment today and everything went great!! They baby was sleeping during the ultra sound so we didnt get to see him/her moving but baby looks great!! David couldnt make it to this doctor so my Mom came with me instead. We were both crying when we saw and heard the heartbeat! It was the most amzing experience of my life! I really like my Dr. She is very down to earth and understands me and what I am going through. Plus I got some med's for my m/s. I go for the Ultra Screen April 10 and my next month visit April 16. Cant wait to see and hear my baby again!!

April 10

I went for my second ultra sound today!!! David got to come with me this time and it was just amazing!! Last u/s I had the baby just slept the whole time!! This time he was jumping around and throwing his hands in the air and touching his bottom! Lol. It was so amazing to see my baby playing!! We heard his heartbeat a strong 162 and found out its a boy!!! It was the most amazing experience!

Now I need to come up with a boys name!!! I will let ya'll know when I have some good ideas!!! Happy Pregnancy!!

May 12th

Finally almost over the morning sickness!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!!! Im starting to feel alot better and able to enjoy my pregnancy. The baby started kicking almost a week ago. At first I assumed it was gas, since this little guy gives me lots of that, but then I was able to tell the difference and the morning sickness was all worth it! My stomache is starting to show but I feel like my breasts are bigger then anything!!! I go for my next doctors May 21st!!

And we came up with a name...Micah Anthony!

May 20th

My little man scared me today!!

I woke up with the urge to pee so bad the past couple mornings but nothing!! I woke up today and blood!! I tried not to freak out cause I am a person who over analyze's everything, but within an hour of severe pressure in my lower abdomen I decided it was time to call the drs. I went in about an hour later and the baby's heartbeat was strong and pounding away. Since I had this bladder problem for the past few days they thought it had just gotten a little out of control but also thought it could be a imcompitent cervix. I guess its when your cervix starts dilating and its far from time to deliver. Thankfully it was not. My little boy was moving around so much! We couldnt even get him to stay still long enough to pick up his heartbeat! My DH looks at my dr and says, "He gets that from his Mom."

Im so thankful it was only a small thing and that my baby is doing great!

June 4th

Well they went to confirm its a boy and its a girl!!! How weird!!! But a definite girl!! They said the technician who did our last ultrasound must have not had a good view!!! A girl!!! Hubby is sooo excited!! He went and bought here a Dallas Cowboys outfit right away!! Wahoo!!!
