Nieve Alexa is my gorgeous daughter!!!!

Hi im Cheryl, i live in scotland with my husband Mark of 2 years and our beautiful daughter Nieve, i couldn't ask for a more great baby, she's been sleeping through the night for a week now and is getting some baby rice and puddings, she's hungary all the time! We got the spelling of her name from Miss Scotland! her name just suits as she's original herself! she is 11lb 8oz right now and will be three months on the 12th of may (day before her daddy's birthday!)

I found out i was pregnant on the 3rd June 2007 through chance! was in shock because it wasn't planned but i was so happy! Found out she's was concieved on my husband's 21st birthday so your supposed to get something to keep on that birthday so he got the present of a lifetime! hehe!

The birth was better than what i had planned, was in labour for 11 hours. done my breathing excersises for most of my labour then around 12:00pm i started the gas and air and a couple of hours later was screaming for pain relief unknown to me she was coming just five mins later at 14:03! she's the most precious person in my life i just love her soooooooo much!

i know what you mean with the weather, you dont know to weather to over dress them or under dress them lol i'm thinking about solids myself, maybe a little baby rice or a rusk but i donno yet lol sonny is going crazy with his teeth hes driving me around the bend lol i've give him some calpol and i'm gonna give him his last feed of the nite and he'll be there till 6:30 the next morning, how is nieve sleeping?? xx

hiya, yer i know were your coming from with the teething process, all sonny dose it chew on his fists then he'll bite so hard that he screams, he gets so mad lol, my little girl loves her little brother she is good as gold, i think i'm gonna have to put sonny's feeds up to 7oz the little fat nac lol he also thinks he can do sit ups lol i'll prop him up with a pillow then hes off lol he is so strong, how's things going with your beautiful little girl?? xx

I think beckett may be in the pre-teething stage -- drooling and chewing on hands and clothes. he's been a bit fussy, too, and sleep schedule during the day has been weird, but he also just had a growth spurt & they always mess him up a bit. the teething can go on for some time too, as in weeks -- I gave him a teething ring the other day as I can't stand it when he chews on his clothes :)

Hi there we are doing ok although he has a bit of tummy trouble at the moment. Im not sure wether he has a bug or has reflux or something but he is quite fussy at the moment. Im not too worried because he still has his moments of contentedness and smiles. We have beautiful sumshine today so I think a day in the garden with some fresh air might help he likes to listen to the birds and feel the breeze on his hands. Hope you have a nice day today.

ooo, I have a bumbo coming this week (i probably said tha already, der) but I know he'll be leaning for a while too. that's okay -- I think the babies really like the new vantage point. nieve must feel like a big girl in hers! beckett's an extremely wiggly baby too, but no laughing out loud yet -- he is definitely laughing w/ his whole body, but no sound yet. you must have melted when nieve laughed! that kind of thing makes me cry b/c I am a big sap :)

yep, beckett's grabbing things now; yesterday he took a rattle from me and then blam! hit himself in the head w/ it -- lol! didn't seem to mind at all, tho. is your nieve ready to start sitting up? I think it's so cute when babies start that. beckett's getting ready to, but still needs help; he leans to one side or the other, haha! there's a baseball pitcher in our city whose last name is beckett, and one of the ob/gyns at my practice named her son beckett. and THEN paul mccartney's daughter stella named her son beckett... what on earth! :)

it's unique without being strange like, oh, say APPLE. omgosh 8 days overdue... you're my hero! i'm sure it feels like the discomfort was worth it tho -- look at that gorgeous little girl!

congratulations on the birth of your daughter! my son, beckett, is about 1 week older than your little girl, so we're probably going through a lot of the same amazing changes. oh, and I once worked with a irish girl named niamh, pronounced 'nieve' -- it's a fabulous name!
