After 7 years of marriage, my husband and I finally decided we were ready to try for our first child. We conceived in January and after 2 at home pregnancy tests and a very awkward 2 hours in the doctors office trying to pee in a cup, we were officially pregnant.
March 3rd was our first ultrasound. The very talkative U.S. Tech got really quiet during the scan, which scared the crap out of us. After asking 'you don't see anything do you?' she said 'I see plenty, I'm just not ready to tell you yet.' And, after what felt like forever, she told us we were having twins....
I've done all the regular lab work, pap smear, and swabs. My next doctors appointment is April 15. I'm hoping to hear the babies heartbeats, again. The doctor won't give me another U.S. until weeks 17-20. (I'm only 10 weeks now.)
