Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Friday, 28 Mar great article. Beautiful babies too! Congratulations!! Jo-Mama -
Thursday, 27 Mar Congratulations! You brought this important issue to light and I love your quote about eating in the bathroom. You're a role model! missjess -
Thursday, 27 Mar i cannot belive that!!! Its not like you were hangin out all over the place. Thats true what someone else said, when it comes to skanky broads walkin around with theyre big huge boobs in skimpy little tops obviously to get attention, not to mention how many men are with theyre wife and cant control themselves from looking at 'those types' of woman, no one says anything to them! But when a woman is simply discretely 'feeding' her baby, someone has the nerve to say something? Id be outraged, i woulda def. said something too, good for you! Dont they know that we still got those hormones runnin through us even after the babys born? they better back off! Good luck to you sammygirl -
Thursday, 27 Mar Thanks for sharing. Women like me look up to you for courage. I am a bit shy and intimidated about breastfeeding in public. Stories like this help boost my esteem about the subject. W8ting4Baby -
Thursday, 27 Mar Kudos to the way you handled things! I will be breastfeeding, and as modest as I am, when the little guy needs to eat, he will. Most of us are, like the article said, discreet by nature..I'll bet the security guard wouldn't have made a big deal if someone in line had flashed her breasts at him just for his enjoyment...sounds like he has some issues of his own! Best wishes to you and your little ones! Beautiful, beautiful children! lisar -
Thursday, 27 Mar I had a similar experience when I was nursing my first son at a restaurant a few years back. Another customer suggested I feed him in the restroom, and I said pretty much what the woman in the article did and suggested that she take her food to the bathroom. It's amazing to me how a person could find nourishing a baby offensive when so many truly offensive things are overlooked! ragumama -
Thursday, 27 Mar Good article! I get so angry when people scawl at women breastfeeding there babies in public, like we should be ashamed or something. mamabea -
Thursday, 27 Mar wow I cant believe that article it is amazing that so many women go around like hooters girls with almost all their boobs out and no one calls security for that...but they call on a descrite mom just tryin to feed her baby naturally. I am amazed that people even worry about it.. my daughter who is a teenager saw a lady in baby depot and she had on a tube top but took it down to her waist and both boobs where out and she was walkin around the store with her baby latched on to one and the other fully exposed and there was store personel and other shoppers and no one said a word to her. I personally wouldnt take it that far but am plannin on breast feeding and i dont want to sit in a hot car or on a toilet just to hide my whole self like i am ashamed I will be descrite though for my own self.. and i dont really care if others like it first-time-mommy-to-b -

Monday, 14 Jan My dr recommended that I take a vitamin that has: calcium/magnesium/zinc
In addition to my regular pre-natal vitamins. I was waking up every night w/ horrible leg cramps. Since I started taking that vitamin, I haven't had a single leg cramp. Give it a try! kristy -
Monday, 14 Jan Yes, leg cramps and restless legs~~I can't sleep, I'm getting so grouchy and misearable from it! My 2 1/2 yr old son's name is Jayce too, middle name is Tanner. Good luck to you! karenc -
Monday, 14 Jan i get nasty calf cramps in the middle of the night that wake me up - ugh! my midwife and doc told me to up my potassium (a banana a day) and to stretch my calves a couple of times a day. both seem to help, but i still get cramps now and again -- i think there's nothing we can do to stop them 100%. kaci -
