Aww I know you are looking so forward to Wednesday. I will be thinking about ya. The soreness has definitely lessened. I am still a little bit, but I can actually wipe when I pee now, lol (sorry TMI). :) And my induction went pretty well.. so don't dread it if that ends up what has to happen. I just waited too long for the epidural. So my advice is when the pain starts to get pretty uncomfortable, ask for it! I waited til it was excruciating, and I was in tears!

mom2boy - Saturday, 5 April
I go to the Drs on Monday and if I havn't had any real progress by then they will set up an induction with me as well. I am fearful of an induction but I also figure what ever will be will be and either way this baby is coming out even if it isn't according to plan. He isn't even born yet and he is already not listening to his mom and dad. Ha ha ha, we tell him every day we want him to come out but no signs...

Let me know when you have your little baby and how the labor went! I hope you are well!

whitneyc - Sunday, 30 Mar
I am still pretty sore 'downstairs', but not in pain. When I walk or sit for awhile, I will start hurting, but it's getting a lot better. The first few days in the hospital was definitely the worst, but they gave me stronger medicine then so it was okay. It's not as bad as I thought it would be though, believer it or not. You'll be fine :)

MommyJewels - Saturday, 29 Mar
Gosh, I should have posted that I called the dr immediately lol! He called me back from the hospital...

I am ok. I lost my mucus plug last night so that was a BIG surprise. But, I am doing ok. They were just really worried because of my previous scares with pre-term labor. However...even when I had those scares my cervix was long and closed. I am NOT on bed rest again THANK GOD. I just have to take it easy. No sex which is sad because we haven't been able to all pregnancy and were looking forward to it HAHA! I have been more active than during my whole pregnancy and haven't been throwing up for FOUR days which is the longest I have been ok this whole pregnancy. Luckily, the mucus plug replaces itself. Still, we have to be careful with infections. If I have even three braxtons in an hour I have to call them. I think I will just have to be careful. It means that your body is preparing for labor...but I have talked to many women who have kept baby in 4-6 weeks afterwards. So I PRAY that he stays in!!!

whitneyc - Saturday, 29 Mar
Aww thank you for thinking of me. You are going to just love being a mom. This is the best thing ever. I am in love with her!!! I hope everything goes perfectly for you during labor and delivery! xoxo

Jo-Mama - Saturday, 29 Mar
We will have the baby in our room in a cradle. I have no idea how long we'll do this for. I plan to mostly play it by ear.

gonzjan - Tuesday, 25 Mar
Hey,
Thanks for the advice on buying a gift from the baby. That is what Im going to do. :) Take care

NewMum2B - Tuesday, 25 Mar
I don't think that they will induce you before 41 weeks most places unless you have a medical need. Personally for me, my blood pressure has been high and they are worried about the onset of hypertension. So I'm not to go to work anymore and they are inducing me to avoid it.

ndoak - Tuesday, 25 Mar
Don't feel badly, my doctor won't induce me until 41 weeks either. I think some of the girls must have some other conditions which warrant earlier inductions like size of baby, pre-eclampsia, etc. Good luck with your new baby!

Kimbee003 - Wednesday, 19 Mar
i don't really know, but my bet is it should definately be right around the corner!!

No they don't have to be bloody, I lost mine with my first a week before I had him, it wasn't bloody at all, it was clear.

littletonmommy - Thursday, 13 Mar
I will speak to my Dr. i think that it a good idea. Thank you for the support. It's nice to know it's not just me.

lilash - Thursday, 13 Mar
ha ha well at least we will have each other when everyone else has their babies! :0)

Avocat29 - Tuesday, 11 Mar
I tested positive too. I was surprised but it's really no big deal. Lots of women have it, it's a bacteria that lives down there.
The main thing is to head to the hospital as soon as your waters break. They give you antibiotics which means the baby gets them and that prevents the baby from getting an infection. They usually like to do 2 doses every 4 hours.
Don't sweat it, it will be fine.

jessicadarling - Tuesday, 11 Mar
I will definitely have to ask when I am at the doctors this week. It so far seems like we are the lucky ones!

buninoven2 - Tuesday, 11 Mar
oh good, i'm glad i'm not alone!

gonzjan - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Hi,
I was kind of shocked about being positive for the strep b when the Dr told me. He said it really isn't anything to worry about. He said about 30% of women get it and its normal. The good thing is that when you go into delivery they will give you an antibiodic to clear it up so the baby will be fine. Good Luck and take care. Not much longer. :)

babyintheoven - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Don't worry too much about testing + for the group B test they will only give you an antibiotic. I have not got my test back yet so I don’t know if I am + or -. Here is a website if you have not read about it. Personally I think it’s better to know than not to know. It’s not something you can pass to your husband and you were most likely born with it. Just try and relax the hospital isn’t going to let you pass it on to your baby if they can help it. Good Luck!
