We are REALLY excited to be having our first baby. Me and my husband have been married for over 8 years and our dogs have been our babies but I guess that is all about to change!

The conception date is 9/9/2007 and our due date is 6/3/2008. We only tried once and WHAM!

We want to have a natural home birth... Any information from moms or moms to be that are into that would be great.

I can't wait to get a belly!!

10/27/2007 exactly 8 weeks and 3 days

I'm not THAT sick... I get nauseous off and on all day. I have to constantly force myself to eat or it gets worse. I could sleep all day and feel like I've been drugged I get so tired. I can take like 2 naps a day and still feel tired! The thought of food grosses me out but like I said I've got to eat.

The insomnia sets in around 4am and I just can't go back to sleep... I toss and turn but I'm just so tired durring the day ugggg! This morning around 7:30am I felt a little buzz in my uterous. It's like I've got a little baby bee in there. maybe it was gas cause lord knows I'm like the gassest person alive right now LOL... but I don't think so.

Anyways... It feels good to write all this down. I'm so busy I feel like I'll forget it all.

I'm feeling so much better. I'm less tired... still love naps whenever I can sneak one. But I can pretty much eat anything now except EGGS.... YUCK.

My 1st Dr appt. is on Friday and I hope I get an U/S so that I can see the little one. Hopefully hear the heartbeat. I'm so excited. Friday can't come soon enough.

I ordered a Bella Band because my pants aren't fitting very well anymore and I tried one and they work really well. My belly is getting bigger... I'm getting chunky in general but I can tell my belly is starting to stick out. I LOVE IT!

I heard my babies heart beat for the first time today. Sweetest thing I've ever heard.

I'm so in love! even though my U/S appt. was really quick I got to see the baby wiggle around a whole bunch and it was just SO adorable.
We are now the size of a large lime! can you believe how big we're getting!
babyrabey was moving and kicking and it was just so fun to watch.
I've got an appt for week 20 to find out the sex at the 3d ultrasound clinic in Redmond WA. That is what I wanted for Christmas. So around 1/16 we will find out if we have a boy or a girl in there.!
This is getting really fun!

I'm really feeling so much better. I'm less tired, more energy and barely get sick anymore.

12/7/2007 Exactly 14 weeks and 3 days

I haven't updated on here for a bit.
I'm feeling really good but man am I cranky.
I cry all the time because I'm frustrated with how cranky I am.
My poor hubby ;)
I do hair and went off on myspace the other day about how I'm not doing anyones hair outside of work anymore. Which is a pain but... I don't know. I feel like I'm becoming more aware of what I need and worrying less about what others want or think really. It's prob a good thing... I do get walked over some becuase I'm so " nice" and you know... I'm really not that nice of a person. LOL. It feels good to get some stuff finally said. And people are listening... cause I'm pregnant.
Anyways....
I set up a U/S appointment with a private U/S tech to find out the sex of the baby on 1/3/08 and I really can't wait! according to the Ancient Chinese Birth Gender Chart : http://storknet.com/cubbies/pregnancy/chinesegenderchart.htm

I'm having a boy :) We'll see if it rings true.
I'd be pretty excited if it was a boy.
Right now I feel good and other than my belly sticking out a bit I can't feel anything and feel like I'm more fat then Preg. But for the first time in my life... I go through everyday not worrying if my belly looks fat... cause people want it too!!! LOL. It's pretty fun.
Me and the hubby have been doing lots of research on home birth and breastfeeding. There is so much information out there. I have so much reading to do and so little time it seems.

12/19/07 16 weeks and 1 day exactly

I feel great! my belly looks pregnant! It's getting big!
I felt the baby move a whole bunch last night! It was amazing.
I've felt it here and there but last night it lasted for about an hour and it was for sure the baby. I've been waiting this whole time for that. I'm so glad it finally happened.
I love it when the hubby rubs my belly.
I'm feeling a lot less emotional and I'm glad for that. Last week I cried because I hadn't finished my Christmas shopping. Oh my hubby's been great! He just holds me and tells me it's ok.

12/21/07 16 Weeks and 3 days

Yesterday was weird. I had a panic attack in the car. Traffic was crazy and it was making me nervous. We were going to Christmas shop and I was stressed about it. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to get my mother inlaw. We stopped for gas and I had my hubby take my pulse. He said it was fast. I felt like I couldn't breath and it just really freaked me out. He just sat there with me and told me to calm down. It took awhile and finally I could breath again and my heart slowed down. I remember a preg lady at my old shop... getting her hair done and had a panic attack. She went into the bathroom for like 10 minutes and when she came out she said sorry but she thinks it's her hormones. I haven't read anything about this in any of my books. I'll have to talk to my Dr. It was really scary.

1/7/08 1 day away from 19 weeks.

We found out on 1/4/08 that it's a boy. She said he looks as though he has a tiny temper... she was trying to get him to move for a good profile pic. And really likes to keep a hand on his business.
