I too feel less movements. Although at night when I lay on my side she tends to start poking as if it bothers her. I play music for her with my ipod and place the headphone to my stomach that usually gets me a few kicks. Good luck let me know if you get advice on any more.

haha, that is adorable!! I'm always tempted to play with the baby's stuff but then I remember how it's all freshly washed and cleaned and I'm afraid of making it dirty........ yes, this child is going to be so overly protected.....

Yes, I get the tingling under my left breast in my ribs. Supposedly its the baby's foot pushing up and putting pressure onto some nerves. I don't feel a foot poking out but I guess if that's what the doc said I'll go with it. Doesn't really hurt just feels weird. Poor little babies don't have much room anymore so they will just stretch our ribs and bellys. Ugggggg!

Scheduled inductions are very popular. I have had two at 38 weeks. My first wasn't really my idea I was due like January 4th and my doctors last day before retirement was the 31st of December. Well we decided to induce on the 21st of december so I would have the baby and be out of the hospital for Christmas. I think it had to do with he wanted that break also since I was the last patient that needed a delivery. With my son I had to start college back on the 23rd of August my due date was the 22nd. I wanted to establish breastfeeding before starting school I would be gone three days a week for several hours. So he induced me on the 8th of august. At two weeks early they were on the upper side of 7 pounds and their apgar scores came back great. 37 weeks is full term so after that the baby should be fine. It is a personal choice that some people understand and others condemn.

Hey there. I agree with fruitypebbles in that most of the things I packed I didn't even end up using just because mostly everything was provided for me right then and there and after giving birth the last thing I wanted to do was rumage through my bag of things. But also like she said, better safe than sorry and most importantly don't forget that cell phone charger! Good luck and best wishes!! xx

Don't forget to pack something for your husband/bf/fiance. Slippers, chap stick, hair scrunchie, brush, make up, magazines, baby book, journal, change for vending machines, cell phone charger, pajamas, outfit to go home in, panties, pads, toothbrush, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, baby outfits two different sizes in case too small or too big. camera, batteries, bags for dirty clothes, Oh I could go on. It's always best to be prepared. With my last I was in the hospital for 4 days so things were brought to me. The nurses even brought us a VCR in the room and we rented a bunch of movies. I have started my bag. So far i have two hair clips, one hair scrunchie, chap stick travel shampoo/cond. and a pen.
