I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Haha.. I just got back from the hospital.. BULLSHIT.. LMAO... I started BLEEDING badly like I was on my period or something right before my appointment.. and they set me up an appointment for Monday at 9:00 a.m. and they will check me, an dgo from there... they will more than likely induce me then. Do you have a date set up yet?

hello there, that definately sounds like ur plug falling out to me. doesnt mean u are in labor. I heard sometimes it comes out weeks b4 u actually go into labor. congrats on ur baby girl, hope everything goes well.

They contractions totally suck because they hurt no doubt, but they are like 8-10 mins apart.. I usually walk at night.. but the friggin snow put that idea to rest...
I know what you mean.. my backs killing me... the dr told me to do squats etc... havent heard that one before.. but I am going to try it.. lol... I am ready!!!
If I dont have her by Monday they might induce me, considering that my blood pressure was sky high today.. my hands and feet have been going numb... and I told her about that.. and she said its normal for that to happen at this stage in pregnancy.. I thought maybe I was too big... I have gained only 7 lbs though.. I keep losing.. i was up to 10 then I lost.. I dont get it..
With my son I gained 11 lbs.. and he was healthy... my main picture was taken today.. BIG as a HOUSE... LOL

Yeah I know.. I mean I wanted to believe her.. but at the same time I dont want to get my hopes up! I am BEYOND miserable... My contractions are definately steady... and the back pain also.. just not close enough.. I know if I go in.. they would just send me home..
Its snowing here.. so I am walking in 40 min incriments on the treadmill.. LOL

Same edd.. went to the drs myself today and they told me I am 2.5 cm dialted and 90%effaced.. she told me that I would too have my daughter this weekend.. but I know come Monday I will still be Pregnant... I am beginning to give up hope...
After the pelvic today lots of bh contractions... and lots of LOWER BACK pain...

I am scared f giving birth, csection, being a mom...everything!! It all seems so wierd that this pregnancy is finally coming to an end and it is honestly freaking me out. Ahhhhhh! Good Luck

I had one previous c-section (baby went into distress) and I will be having another one on Fri. March 7. Birth is very scary. Things seem to go pretty fast, nurses constantly coming in and out of the room. I don't know what a vaginal birth is like, but I know what labor is like. I don't want to give you any horror stories, I think labor pain, etc. depends on each woman. How well you can handle pain. I ,for one, cannot handle pain, I'm a big baby! So, I went for the meds! It doesn't make me weak or a bad person, it makes me human. The best advice would be to go into this with an open mind and as calm as you can.Don't be ashamed of help or meds. The Drs. and nurses have done this a million times and nothing you would do or say would shock them. (I've said some pretty choice words during my labor!LOL!) The only thing I thought was painful was the epidural. I received mine during my contractions and it hurt like hell! So, I am not looking forward to getting another one with this c-section! That is the only thing I'm scared of. Yes, it will hurt to have a baby, but put it this way, if it was THAT bad, the population would diminish! LOL! I hope you have an easy birth and I wish you luck!

Man I was so drugged up and tired lol I was done with that whole labor scene! When she came out, she instantly cried and that made me cry. I mean I had dreams where she wouldn't cry or she came out a puppy lol I was relieved. They took forever to clean her so I took a little nap and my mom came over to wake me up with her and i just looked at her and said 'you look funny' lol Well she did! She had that cone head and she was all gray and colorless. I'm pretty sure if I wasn't drugged up, I would've said more lol In the recovery room, I had time to sober up and when they brought her in, it was all hugs and kisses from there =)

Aww, I started off taking just 2 tablespoons and mixed it with 12oz of rootbeer, and drank it fast, have a couple crackers beside u afterwards. see if that works and if not later on that day take 3 more tablespoons. Some people take the whole 4 oz, my dr told me it was safe to take it. I wish u the best and good luck!!

I am glad I am not the only one. Everytime she moves I put my hand there. I want to feel and enjoy every movement in the last days/weeks. I just think it is so wierd that I want ehr out so bad but I dont want this pregnancy to end even though I am so uncomfortable and having a bunch of issues!
So I am doing okay besides feeling so back and forth. How are you doing on this home stretch?? Getting nervous? I AM!
