JUNE 10, 2009 - MILESTONE DAY!!!

1. Said "Mama" (yeah, I finally have a name)(now, I'm sure it won't be long until I wish I didn't because I will hear it ALL THE TIME! hahaha

2. Drank from a straw in his new Nub cup

3. Swam and held his breath in the hot tub (don't worry mommies, the hot tub is cool like pool water)

I am married to my best friend Patrick! We tried for 3 1/2 years to have a baby and last August we found out we were pregnant! On Christmas Day, we found out we were having a baby boy and on May 5th, 2008 at 3:03 PM, Andrew Miles made his GRAND appearance and we have been having so much fun!

Drew was 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20 inches long

Canon is here!!! He decided to make his big debut 3 weeks early!! My water broke Wednesday night and I had him Thursday morning at 7:47am. He weighed in at 7lbs 5oz, which is not bad for being 3 weeks early. We are all doing great!! Will post pics soon!

Thanks for your sweet comment - I didn't know you had m/c's before Drew. I had one in August - I was only 4 weeks, and then this one. We decided to do some genetic testing on the tissue - we figure any information is good. And who knows, it could be anything. My Doctors both told me they had 3 and 4 miscarriages in between their 2 children, so that gives us hope.

The surgery was on the same floor that we delivered Sam, and it brought back such wonderful memories, and then sad to be there for the d&c. We're just going to keep trying and be happy and thankful - Sam (like Drew is going to be) will be a great big brother.

The bleeding has all but stopped and I have zero pain. It's crazy, the body knows what it needs. They said I could get my period in 3-4 weeks, and I think we'll start trying. So far, we've gotten pregnant everytime we've tried so I have to admit, I'm a little nervous. The next pregnancy will be number 5. Jeeze!

Love the pics. Drew is adorable - little boys are THE BEST!!!!!! Sam just started blowing kisses and making the kissie noise tonight, we MELTED!~!!!!!!
