My name is Martine & I am married to my best friend Patrick! We tried for 3 1/2 years to have a baby and last August we found out we were pregnant! On Christmas Day, we found out we were having a baby boy and on May 5th, 2008 at 3:03 PM, Andrew Miles made his GRAND appearance and we have been having so much fun since then.

Drew was 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20 inches long

I'm so used to my hubby being all over me that when he was trying to be nice and caring and sensitive before he deployed and not trying to be a big ole hornball it just wasn't working! I asked him about it the other day and he said he was trying to be more sensitive, that and get out of the dog house....so I was like ok your trying to keep sex from a pregnant woman who's gonna have to go without for 6 mths anyway, smart move buddy!!
But I'm kinda glad I'll have time to heal before he gets home this time, it wasn't that bad last time but I think my threshold is higher than some ya know.
Just make sure that the mood is right and you guys aren't too distracted or anything. And it will all work out, but serious foreplay is a must, to my thinking anyway, tell him like this in man speak....you wouldn't just jump in your car and take off on a cold winter day, you gotta let it warm up first or you rish damaging the car! :-) Don't stress too much about it either, just let it happen...

Yeah the tags are different materials; some have ridges on them and some are satin-y =) Their whole concept is that most babies/kids like to rub tags together (or lining of blankies lol). This gives you a small security blankie that has tags all around to rub =) its pretty cool...Jacksons football one came in Friday =)

I know I miss you too!

It is crazy, because I have no time for anything anymore. Just when I think I have things under control things change again. We are planning to go to Destin next summer, so you better come too! That would be so cool to get together. We could have Steph come too! I used to live in Naples and I so miss the beach! You are lucky to live so close to such beauty.

I don't want to make things more confusing for you. Though I have heard Enfamil causes gas and spitting up. We use Similic Advanced and we have no issues. Also with the pooping. Presley sometimes goes 2 -3 days with no poop. I read that formula feed babies can only go once a week. What did your pedi say??
Motherhood is hard! I get so worked up sometimes, Colin makes me have a time out, LOL!

Every baby is different. I wouldn't worry. As long as he is wetting his diaper 8 times a day. Presley eats 2-3 oz. On rare ocassion does he require 4oz.. If he is content after a feeding he is full. If he is gaining weight too, he is fine!
If you want call you pedi. That is what they are there for.

im back to work since last week and i am still breastfeeding, i feed her before i go to work at 6am, then at 10am my first break, then at 12pm and at 4:30 when im back and at 8:30pm, its hard because I dont have a lot of time for pumping at work but as you say I feel that if I stop i will be loosing bonding moment with my baby. try it and see if it works...........

Sorry, I am just now responding, been a little crazy here. You can ask me as many questions as you want. I do NOT mind.
Yes, I give him just formula for a feeding. I usually pump 9oz a day. So, for the first two feedings a day I give him 4oz of pure breast milk. Then the rest of the day it is formula. Then through out the day I pump and store the milk for the next day. To me some is better than none. It is a lot of work, but I have the time to do it.
That is so AWESOME about baby Drew! What a BIG boy!!
How are you doing?? When do you go back to work? Did Steph mail you those pills?

Saw your post on the episiotomy site and I will tell you that hubby was not very nice and kept getting me in the mood at like not even 2 weeks after, and yeah it hurt but it goes away after you heal some more and what not by the time 6 wks came around I got my birth control and hubby was happy he didn't have to keep pulling out. Basically I'm saying if you think your ready it doesn't hurt to try if you want to, 6 wks is a good guideline but it's not written in stone. Just make sure hubby gets you good and worked up, the lubrication will help a lot, good luck!
