I have felt Braxton Hicks really good since about 24 weeks. My Dr. says that most don't feel them. It is just tightening of my entire stomach that feels like is squeezes the baby. They are a little uncomfortable and sometimes take your breath away. My Dr. says this is what has helped me progress.......

I just wanted to comment on your post in the 36 week section...With my daughter(which was my first I am 36 weeks and 4 days with my 2nd...A BOY THIS TIME YAY) . Well with her he kept telling me he didnt think I was going to be able to deliver her natural... cause she was big and I was small...everytime he checked me no progress....last time he checked me i was 38 weeks and a few days...NOTHING...I was getting SO mad!!! So finally he decided to schedule a c-section....this was monday....they shceduled it for thursday...I went into labor on wednesday morning(wasnt for sure is it was even labor...but went to the hospital in case) I got to the hospital and was already to a 5! It went that fast! So don't worry some people are different...it can go FAST and you wont even realize it!!! Hope this helps Hun!!!

I also have awful hand pains..I wake up with the pins and needles in both hands every day and then my knuckles and fingers hurt off and on throughout the day-sometimes so bad it hurts to hold anything in my hands. I was scared that I was the only person experiencing this-never read about this before! Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!

Glad to see I'm not the only one with hand pain. It hurts so bad for me to bend my fingers and the swelling is over the top! I'm so relieved I'm approaching my due date. Best of luck to you!

Hi babysteps, thanks for the comment but it is not pre eclampsia. My kidneys do not function as well as they should hence the high protein levels in the urine and the swelling legs, My blood pressure has been completely normal as the water retention in the feet and ankles is a result of the kidney probs. I just have to go on a salt free and low protein diet now and start wearing compression stockings..

this my first baby to what you can do is search on the internet. but i am just takeing da basic things like blankets and two lil outfits to keep him warm. the hospital should have everthing else. good luck with everthing...

Hi there- Ive been having wrist pain.. for the past two months. The pain is pretty bad especially at night. My fingers also get really numb... I cant wait for all this to b over n have my lil Man with me.

Hi! I did feel my baby move yesterday and today for the first time... it was so amazing! Yesterday it felt like someone tickling my belly (inside) and it only lasted about 2 seconds ... freaked me out! lol and this morning I was laying down on the bed and felt the baby do flips i think haha... it felt like gas but defenitly wasn'T :) My dog was laying his head on my belly when it happened... right before it happened he looked up at my belly then at me and then I felt it. Weird...!! hih It 's so amazing when you feel the baby for the first time. It's her or his was of telling you they are doing just great :) Hope you get the feeling soon!
