Hey Everyone - My name is Jen. My husband Freddie and I were pregnant for almost 6 weeks. This was going to be out first baby and we were super excited. I miscarried about a week after we got our positive pregnancy tests. I've never seen my husband so excited about something before. He is so ready to be a daddy and I am very ready to be a mommy too. When the doctor confirmed that we for sure miscarried I felt so empty. It is a struggle everyday and I'm sure it will be for a while. Fred is very supportive and very comforting. I don't know how I could have managed going through this tragedy without him. He is a very good man and I'm very lucky to have him in my life. We have talked about it and we are ready to try again. The doctor wants us to wait until January to start trying again so I can heal and get strong enough to carry. I don't blame him. I want to make sure I'm in as perfect health as I can be so this doesn't happen again.

I am very sad but am also very excited about trying again. I went out today and bought a baby outfit. It just felt right. I showed Freddie and he smiled from ear to ear. We are ready to be parents. I hope this time it will happen for us.

Good News!!! I just took a test this morning and we are pregnant! I `m so excited I could crawl out of my skin. We `ve been trying so hard since our loss. I `m just glad it didn `t take too long. I hope all is good with everyone. Thank you for all the Baby Dust! Talk to you soon! - Jen

We have our first Dr. `s Appt this Fri - April 4th. We are very excited. I hope we are able to see the hearbeat. We `ll be 6 weeks and 5 days then. Our parents are soooo excited! They can `t wait to find out what it is so they can all go shopping. I don `t think our child will be lacking anything, that is for sure! :o) Well, I will update Fri to let you all know how it went. I hope I don `t get too many pokes. Needles... Yikes!!!

Freddie felt the baby move last night. We were watching TV on the couch and I was lying down. I felt her moving around a little bit so I told Fred to come over and feel. Of course she stopped immediatley!! He went back to watching TV and about 10 minutes later she was moving around again. I could feel it on my belly and I was hoping Fred would too. He came back over and put his hand on my belly and all of th sudden she gave this kick that even startled me. I asked Fred if he felt it and he smiled and said yes. Then he proceeded with, 'That was really weird feeling!". He was smiling ear to ear though. I'm so glad he finally gets to experience part of what I'm experiencing everyday.

pooey on your doctor. some women just gain water weight and thats exactly what it sounds like. you should be going for your glucose test next month and im sure if your blood pressure was elevated you would already be on besrest. if something is up, you will know then. maybe try some morning appts if you arent already doing that? if its water weight, it tends to accumulate throughout the day, then while you are sleeping, reabsorbes a bit.

Oh boo to your doctor! You said exactly what the problem is-water retention. You know your diet and if you have been eating relatively normal/healthy food, then this weight gain is simply the result of being pregnant. I do question why you need milk? I'm a vegetarian and really have never understood why adults drink milk. There are plenty of other sources of calcium and vitamins out there. And I don't think many people lose weight drinking milk like the adds claim. Enjoy your pregnancy my dear.

all is well still. reguardless of getting another u/s, hearing the heartbeat by doppler this early on is kinda rare. that little one looks like a baby now! did the tech have to poke it and make it move for you? they tend to sleep soooo much this early.

Youre in your 10th week!!! Now you SHOULD feel as though the nausea is letting up if you had it. I never bought the "having more energy by now" thought for just before week 12, im still waiting for that at 19 weeks while im sleeping 14 hours a day. i cant wait till you have another sono, that little lima bean is looking like a real baby by now! we have our big sono on thursday.... cant wait!!! we are going shopping afterwards too. Its a level 2 ultrasound, so it should be super clear as long as baby cooperates too. we should at least have some great photos!
