It's possible it could be your period. I'm breastfeeding, and was told I wouldn't get mine until 3 months or more, but I got it at about 6 weeks, and am just now stopping - 2 weeks later! I cannot wait to stop wearing pads!!

I'm not breastfeeding either, and my daughter is 5 weeks today and I got my period last week and still have it! So yes, it's possible.

That was the term I was looking for,STRAIGHT JACKET, lol, that is exactly what I need. Since he got so bit so fast, born at almost 9 and within 2 weeks is 11 I didn't think he would fit, I will def take another look. I will be furious if I get my period before enjoying some days without checking myself for spots! hehe

Hi there, yeah, this is my third and they were all completely different. There just is no foolproof anything, just the wild hope what worked for someone else will work for you. He seems to break out of his swaddles so had to get some of those big ol receiving blankets and lock him down. We also upped his formula supplement to 4 oz, it took 40 min for him to drink it all, but so far he is entering his second hour of sleep, better than every hour! The spotting is annoying because it is so faint, but yet I still have to change the liner a few times a day, yuck.

Thanks for your opinion...I think she's fine too. We're getting more into a routine every day, including more spaced out feedings. I hear you about the tummy time and playing with your baby...I mean, how much does a two week old want to play??? :o) I have a play mat and a boppy lounger, both of which I use for tummy time along with the bed. I've got to say that I don't think she likes any of them, but I see the point of doing it! :o)

Hey, so I'm still kind of freaking out that I'm giving her too much...I think she's about 8lb now (two weeks tomorrow and was 7lb 4oz at birth), but doctor said she was only in the 25th percentile for her weight at three days, so I think the weight gain has been good for her. So, she's going on like 24-25 oz a day. She has 6 - 3oz bottles and 3 - 2oz bottles in a 24 hour period. I'm not making her eat it either...she is obviously hungry for it, and I go by her cues as to when she's hungry (crying/rooting/head bobbing, etc.) So, do you think that's too much? It seems like yours might be getting similiar. I hope you can put my mind at ease...both my mom and MIL said that she will only eat as much as she wants anyway, so I'm not hurting her, am I? (God, we've turned into such mother's, haven't we????) thx :o)
