Well my name is Megan, I'm 20 yrs old and this is me my hubby Michael's first baby! We are super excited nervous at the same time. I had Tristan on sept 4th, 2008. It was a very long tiring labor. He was 7 lbs 6 oz. 21 inches. He looks just like his daddy!! I cant believe our baby is finally here!

-Birth Story- So Sept 3rd, 2008 I was scheduled to be induced. I went to the hospital at 8:30am. At 9:30am they started my IV which was giving me the pitocin. Pretty soon after I started having contrations. They didnt hurt at first but they kept getting stronger and stronger. After a few hours of having contrations I decided to get my epidural. That was at about noon. I felt sooooo much better after that. My hubby was laughing that I couldnt even feel the strong contractions I was having..The epidural made me really tired so I tried to get some sleep...I dozed on and off for hours. Before I knew it it was late afternoon and no baby yet! I did have a scare when all of a sudden the babys heart rate dropped below 67. A bunch of dr's and nurses ran into the room. They were telling me they will pry have to prep me for surgery to have a c section. I freaked out! I was not about to have a c section. They gave me oxygen and moved me onto my side. Turns out the baby was just laying on the cord. thank god he was ok. I was really scared. I started crying. After that I continued with the waiting game. The dr really thought I would have him that evening. It seemed like nothing was happening. I was dialating but the baby was moving down really slowly. So the evening came...no baby! I was getting very frustrated. After about 8 pm I started having alot of pressure in my butt area. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever!! I felt like I needed to go to the bathroom..it eventually became super painful. Gradually I started to feel everything. I think that the epidural wore off!! So it was around 10pm, the nurse checked me, she told me that I was dialated to 10cm. She told me that the dr said to start pushing. The baby was still high up in there so they thought pushing would bring him down. I ended up pushing for 3 hrs!! I felt everything. I had contractions every 1-2 min. It was hell!! I guess the baby was stuck behind my pelvic bone so thats why he wasnt moving down. After 3 hrs the dr decided to try to suck him out. That didnt work! So the dr tried using forceps. It was the worst pain I have ever had!! No pain meds!! They all wore off. I pushed my final 4 times...I felt the babys head come out..then the shoulders and the rest of him. I tore really bad...At 1:55am Tristan Michael Knott was born!! He weighed 7 lbs 6 oz. 21 inches long. He looks just like his daddy!! I went through alot of pain but it was all worth it!! I feel totally blessed and I am completly in love with my lil boy! I'm still very very sore and very swollen but its over with and Im moved into my new house!! Both our families are super excited to have a lil grandson. This is the first grandchild on both sides of our families. Everyone cannot wait to hold our "lil man" . I think its funny because both sides of our family want a huge family picture of all the generations. ahahah. I cant believe my great grandma is a great great grandma!! Thats wayyyy crazy. Now I'm just counting down the days til I'm able to fit back into my "tiny" jeans!! I cant wait to exercise and go on walks with the baby!

2.15.05 - When me and mike started dating.
11.01.07- Moved out of state away from our families.
12.29.07- I took a pregnancy test twice!! and found out I was pregnant!
1.03.08 - Went to the dr to officially find out if I was pregnant.
3.19.08 - Celebrated my 20th Bday!!
4.01.08 - Went to my first dr visit. I heard the heartbeat!!
4.03.08 - Had my first ultrasound!! I saw the baby!! Found out we are having a boy!!
4.08.08 - I felt the baby really move for the first time!!
4.15.08 - The baby was moving all the time now!!
5.01.08 - I started showing alot more.
5.11.08 - My first Mothers Day!
6.03.08 - I finished my 2nd Tri.
6.05.08 - I was tested for gest. diabetes...everything came back negative!!!
6.15.08 - Mikes first Fathers Day!
6.18.08 - Baby Tristan is getting huge!! I can tell hes quished in my belly.
6.26.08 - Had a dr appt and everything looks perfect.
7.2.08 - drove 12 hrs to see both of our families !!!
7.6.08 - My Baby Shower !!!
7.10.08 - Dr Appt. Everything looks good.
7.21.08 - Went to the hospital for pain I was having. Everything was fine & baby Trey is high in there & I'm closed & thick !!
7.26.08 - Drove down to GA to find a house. Had lots of swelling in my feet.
7.29.08 - 35 weeks!!
7.31.08 - Dr appt. Everything is good!
8.14.08 - Dr appt. had my weekly exam & the dr said my blood pressure was high & Im not thinned out or dialated yet.
8.20.08 - my mom & mikes mom came down to visit & help us move!
8.21.08 - Dr appt. dr said the baby has deff dropped & Im thinning out & Im dialated 1cm!! He said the babys head needs to drop just a lil more. Im pretty sure the dr stripped my membranes today to speed things up!
8.27.08 - Mike and I got married!!
8.28.08 - Dr appt. Im really thinned out and Im scheduled to be induced Wednesday Sept 3rd if I dont have the baby this weekend!!
8.30.08 - I LOST MY MUCUS PLUG!!
9.3.08 - 8:30 am scheduled induction day!!
9.4.08 - Baby Tristan was born at 1:55 am!
9.6.08 - Moving Day!!
9.07.08 - My milk finally came in. My boobs hurt like no other & they are huge! Their also leaking like crazy!
9.11.08 - Baby Tristan had his first dr appt! Everything looks great! He now weighs 7 lbs 14 oz.
9.18.08 - Weight check. Baby Trey now weighs 8 lbs 1 oz.
10.4.08 - Baby tristan is a month old!!!
10.6.08 - Tristys one month check up..hes 10 lbs!! 22 1/2 inches.

Yea, we should definitely get together, I'm just getting used to going places with a baby. It's harder than I thought it'd be. But it's worth it. I need to do some xmas shopping early, so I'm not stuck doing it last minute with a baby. We'll keep in touch and figure something out. Have a good weekend

hey ladies!

so i had an ultrasound today to check my cervix.
things are going great! my cervix is nice as closed and the baby is weighing 1 lb 7 oz.
n hes a few days ahead of schedule, nothing major but its great to hear that everything is great.

i see the doc on tues and will know more. thats about it for now.
ohh n the other bubble is gone.
so im extremely happy!
cant wait to meet the munchkin....
oh they also tried to do the 3-d but we couldnt see much cuz of his position. ill bother then again in 2 weeks when i go back

XD well i did tear but im doing good .. my babys doin really good .. to .. :) i love him to death and idont no wat i would do without him now .. hes my everythin but yea ill eventually get to writin my birth story cuz labor wasnt fun at all i hated it ...

yah they used forceps but before that they used the suction cups which didnt work at all! poor lil guy.. Im soo sore from the stitches

hey hun!
he weighed 8lbs 12 ounce and now weighs 9lbs. i was in labor for 12 hrs (9am until 9pm) he was born oct 3..i had to be induced cause i was a week and a dayy overdue lol and i had enough.

Just wanted to let all you ladies know that Kaidence is finally here!!

She was born October 2nd at 8:28AM by schedualed c-section.
She Weighed 7lbs 15oz and was 20.5 inches in length!

She is doing incredible and has a touch of jaundace but should clear up soon since we are doing EXCELLENT with the breastfeeding!

Anyways, I have started to update my new page but bare with me, I do now have 2 to care for!

Wow...10 pounds. I can't wait to see how much Blydan weighs at his 1 month appointment. He's such a little chunker. If I find an exercise program for mommy's and baby's, I'll let you know and we can sign up for it. We need to find something to do, I hate sitting around the house all the time. Im a camera mommy too.. i recently had over 600 photos deceloped that wel built up on my com.. i still have some that need to be put away in photo books but i need to find the right photo album to match his other ones..

Yea, I've still got some jiggle going on, I need to start exercising. I looked for a mom and baby yoga class and there aren't any around here. Kennestone hospital offers a program called mom's connection, it's for mom's to get out of the house once a week and hang out with other mommy's and baby's. I definitely want to do something! But I'd really like to be able to exercise too. I hate looking at the postpartum section in the belly photobook, some of those girls are like flat bellied a week after giving birth! It pisses me off
