Our Little Baby Girl :) How does Addison Nicole sound?

Jon (My fiance) and I have been together since 5/28/06. We found out on Nov. 16th that we are expecting. We couldn't be happier! I have been married before and I was told that I was infertile, the next step was to have invitro. I had laproscopy, and I had cyst removed on my left ovary. We really weren't trying at the time but still we never used protection and I was told that I had Polycystic ovarian syndrome. I never thought that I would be able to have children. The week that I left my ex, I found out that I had miscarried. We didn't know that I was pregnant at all. I feel that it was God's way of letting me know that I could have children just not with that man.

I feel so blessed to have this little girl. I don't know how many times I have cried and just thanked God for having a little one and being able to feel like a woman. It is such a sad thing to look at a baby and just feel sadness thinking that you won't be able to have one. I worked at a daycare during the time that I was going to the fertility doctor and I had to quit because I couldn't stand being around the babies. I know I am blessed now.

Hey Mom's and Dad's.. this is my first pregnancy and I am just so excited.. I can't wait to meet my little angel. I am on here alot. If anyone is near my due date please say hey .. :) or shoot just anyone at all. :) As soon as I can get some pics taken I will put some on here.

Addison's birth story..

I had gone into labor on July 4th at about 3:20 in the afternoon. Not quite sure about the time... but it felt like I had a really strong braxton hicks contraction. I immedately looked at Jon and told him to start the stop watch and that I was going to pack my bag. I don't know what hit me but I knew that it was time. We were making a roast for dinner in the crock pot and it was supposed to be ready around 7, so I figured we had time to rest ... take showers.. and just get ready for the long night. He and I both took our showers, packed.. and then we went up to Kmart to get some slippers and other little side items. The contractions were coming about every 8 mins and then started going down in time. While in Kmart I started really having back pain and I had to stop walking most of the times that I was having contractions. When we got back home from Kmart, the roast was ready, we went ahead and ate. By the time we were done eating it was about 7:30 ... 8 pm, we went on to the hospital. At the hospital they took me right away, hooked me up to the monitor and checked me.. I had only dialated to a 1 1/2 cm. Which I had been a cm for 2 wks already. The nurse came back after an hr and checked me again and I had dialated to a 3. I was staying the night. I wasn't sure if I was until that moment. That was about 9:30.. at midnight.. the nurse came in and told me that the anesthesiologist wanted to see if I wanted the epideral then or to have him come in at 3.. he wanted to go to sleep. Needless to say I had the epideral at midnight and by the time that I had her.. it had worn off. All thru the night I slept off and on. I wasn't dialating all that much. By the time 7 am came around I was starting to get my morning sickness.. which I have had all thru the pregnancy. They gave me phenergan, if you don't know it knocks you out. At 8 am the doctor came in and finally busted my water, and they also gave me pitocin to get me to dialate more. At noon.. I woke up having the worse pain.. I was having some serious contractions. I had dialated to a 9 and was almost completely thinned. The nurse told me that I was fixin to start pushing. I started pushing at 12:30.. Addison was born at 12:54pm. She was 6lbs 15ozs.. and 21 1/2 inches long. Even though I was in labor for so long.. and I really don't remember too much from time to time. That was the most wonderful day of my life. I love my little girl so much words can't describe it. She is doing wonderful. I am breast feeding, that is somewhat of a challenge in itself. She went for her first doctor's appt on Wednesday the 11th of July. She had gained 9 ozs in the 5 days since we left the hospital.. She is my little piglet.
