Thursday, 15 May Thank you, that is really encouraging! I am just cuddling my little girl these days too, our bedroom is set up to cater to the least movement possible, lol, but it is good to hear there is hope for my belly! Good luck to you and thanks again. ~Shawn~ CrazyEights -

Monday, 12 May The bump is called a "nursing blister" but bottle fed babies can get the same thing. It's not technically a blister, so don't get scared. It's more like a callous and it doesn't hurt or bother them at all. My son had the same thing for probably at least the first three or four months I think. As far as which breast to feed them from what I've read is that you let them nurse on one breast for as long as they want, maybe even burp when they first release and then reoffer. When they lose interest in the first breast offer the second. Then regardless of whether or not they nurse at the second breast, start the next feed on the second breast. The milk that they get at the end of a feed on one breast is called hind milk and it's high in fat and very important, that's why you should let them empty one before you offer the other. I hope this makes sense. If you have any questions let me know! Congrats on breast feeding, it's a magical experience that can be a struggle but in the end is so rewarding and worth all of the work! my-lil-miracle -

Saturday, 3 May I think that our parents/grandparents totally see things differently, but that's no excuse for being critical and making you question your parenting. You are doing an awesome job and there are tons of books and articles that support you. I went through the same thing (my baby's a month now) and it drove me nuts. I spent one night just crying and second guessing every decision I made. But I got over it (eventually) and in time you develop a thicker skin. You learn that it's easier to ignore people because it's your baby. juniperberry -

Tuesday, 29 April My son was born 17 April vaginal. I had a hard time breastfeeding so I just pump now. But we are both the same considering he hates sleeping in his own bed. We usually let him slep in on his boppy. pargy -
