So I figured I would tell everyone a little about me. My name is Becky and this is my second pregnancy. I got pregnant in Sept. of 2006 and we m/c in December of 2006. I had a missed m/c and they had to do a d&c to get the baby out. I went in for my 12 week appt. and they couldn't find the hb on the doppler so they gave me an u/s thinking I wasn't as far along as I thought and there was no hb and the baby was only as big as a 10 week baby. I was positive of my LMP so I knew I wasn't wrong so we had the surgery done. We were told not to get pregnant for the next 3 months so we used protection. But after that we were not really trying to get pregnant, but we weren't trying not to either. Basically, we weren't using anything, but I wasn't keeping track of when I was ovulating or anything like that either. Now, we are pregnant again and we found out on Dec. 27th 2007! My husband and I were/are very excited, but scared at the same time b/c we are afraid of what happened before. We are trying to stay positive and are hoping and praying for the best! Good luck and Baby Dust to all:)

Yesterday my hubby, mom and I went to the dr. and we got to see our little bean! The doc. said that everything looks fine and I was exactly 8 weeks yesterday. She changed my due date to the 3rd or 4th of September, but I am not going to change it on my account here because babies hardly ever come on their due date. We got to see the hb!!!!! I was so excited and felt a little more relieved as well because that just gave me reassurance that everything will be good. I am still a little worried cuz I have heard some people's stories about how they say the hb and then they still lost the baby, but I am trying to stay positive:) The doc. said the hb was about 160-170 bpm which she said was great for how far along I am. We are all trying to stay positive and keep praying to God that everything will be just fine with our baby and we will carrry to term. Good luck to all the mommies and baby dust to all!

So today we had our 12 week scan and it went great!!! We got to see the baby and the hb and it was at 160bpm. It was so cool because the baby was wiggling and dancing in there and that was just the neatest thing ever. We are so relieved and excited to be able to experience such a blessing from God. I cannot wait until I get to go back in a month to see the baby and try to find out the sex. This was such a great day and I could not be more excited especially because the doctor said that everything looks great and the baby looks completely normal. YAY!!

So today I was a little scared b/c I woke up to pee and there were two dime sized drops of brown blood on my undies. After I pee'ed I wiped and there was some brown on it. I put in a pantyliner to catch any extra brown blood. I called my doc. and she said that it is normal to have brown blood and it is called old blood. She said that as long as it isn't bright red and there is no cramping then I am fine. I had my scan yesterday for my 12 weeks and everything was perfect. Baby had a hb of 160bpm and it was bouncing around in there. That was so cool. So I know that I shouldn't worry, but that is hard for me to do. I keep praying that everything will be fine and we will have a healthy baby born to us in sept. I really don't have any control over it because I am doing everything right so I am putting my faith in God. Please keep us in your prayers and thank you to everyone that has already responded and given me reassurance that everything is fine. You ladies are great! Good luck to everyone.

So today I went to the doctor's for an ultrasound because I woke up this morning with the dark brown blood again. I had started getting lighter and less and less each day and then today it scared me again. Well, the ultrasound went fine and I got to see baby and the hb and the baby was moving. It wasn't moving as much as last time, but it also looked like it didn't have as much room in there as it did 5 days ago, so that is probably why. Dr. said everything looked great and the reason I was having the brown spotting is because I had a partial placenta previa. She said not to worry about it and that it should correct itself with everything growing and pushing things around in there. She just told me to not have sex and no strenous exerscing and such. I can deal with that. I am so relieved and happy that everything is fine with the baby. Thanks to all you ladies for keeping me in your thoughts and reassuring me that everything is ok. I am glad I know what is causing it because now I am not scared. I told my husband that I won't get stressed and worried as much (that will be really hard for me to do), but I need to relax and just put my faith in God that everything will turn out great in the end because as long as I am being healthy and doing everything that I can to ensure a healthy pregnancy then the rest is up to Him to take care of me in every other way.

We had our u/s today and baby would not cooperate! We still do not know what baby is because it kept its legs closed the entire time. The u/s tech was able to get all the measurements and such on baby, so that was good, and all looked good and normal too, so I am very happy that baby is HEALTHY! I just really wish we could have been able to find out what it is. Hopefully I will be able to schedule another u/s after 20 weeks and then I will be able to tell what it is then as long as baby is not shy:)

We had our 3-D u/s today and we finally found out that we are having a GIRL!!!!!!!! I am sooooo happy because I love pink! J.D. is happy too (although he is a little scared to have a girl). The u/s was the coolest thing and I am so glad that we did it. We have another one scheduled for June 25th and I am so excited to see how much bigger she will be by then. I am on cloud 9 right now and so happy. I can hardly wait until september for her to get here:)
! Just about 6 weeks to go...I am very excited! I've been on bed rest since week 29 with SPD, so I hope to be done with this pregnancy SOON! How are you feeling? I hope you are having a great day...TTYS!!!
