Hi my name is Becky and I found out I was pregnant on November 23rd. Ten years after having our daughter we will now be adding a new addition to the family. It was a very big shock finding out I was pregnant, but I couldn't be happier. My due date is July 31st, 2008. A summer baby!

wow!!! 9 lbs!!! lucky you didn't go over due with him :) Rowyn was 8 lbs 3 oz at her appointment... I havn't heard of the sugar water.... that's definetly different. Shit I would just keep feeding him :) Fat baby = happy baby right? :) lol You know our mom's just stuffed our faces full! :)

Hey sweetie. I'm in the same boat as you regarding my baby waking up every 2 hours for feedings. Unfortunately, once 5am hit, he's wide awake until at least 9:30am (yesterday was 10am) and I'm not getting any sleep. My son has moved up to 3 ounces per feeding now and that isn't knocking him out. Oh yeah, and he's formula fed as well.

My daughter Brooke is the same way. Today she has been eating every hour and a half.. She is formula feed also. She will fall asleep after about an oz or so, I changer her then she will finish the rest. I think that she is having a growth spurt. They tend to eat more when they are growing.

lol that is hilarious.. speaking of diapers.. my bassinet is just around the corner from tyhis computer and I just got a woft of something nasty... i swear she seriously will take a shit as soon as she falls asleep and then i have the mental battle of let her sit in it so i can get a minute to myself or change it and wake her up... ugh...

i would just let him lay in a diaper on a blanket in the middle of the floor or on the couch and get in his face... don't let him sleep.. well okay... let hoim sleep but try to get atleast 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day combind... so like 30 min 4 x's a day of awake floor time... tire him out lol... that's what i've been doing..
has jack's umbilical cord fallen off yet? did it look like raw skin still????? her's just fell off and it just doesn't look right. hmm
well congrats on the three hours of sleep... it's funny how 3 straight hours is honestly great to us, huh? so sad!

I am sure my bliss will end in due time. I am just in heaven as Elizabeth had colic and acid reflux.. I didn't get a full nights rest till she was almost 9 months old. blah!!!!
When does the hubby go back to work??? Try stimulating Jack during the afternoon as much as you can... tire his little butt out!!

for the love... that sucks. don't hate me, but knock on wood rowyn loves night time sleep so far. thank god. She is a hog tho!!!! seriously... I was trying to breast feed.. I can't keep up. my boobs can't keep up. I am about to switch to the formula because between her on my boob for 45 minutes at a time I still have to pump so she can have an extra ounce through the bottle because she doesn't get full. it drives me nuts!!!!
today was my first day home alone with elizabeth and baby... it went so much better than expected. i couldn't believe... she hasn't tried to kill her little sister yet... maybe tomorrow lol

I go in tonite at ten to be checked if i'll need cervadil, and if so, they'll "apply" and give me a room, and start induction for real tomorrow morning...if I need no cervadil, they'll send me home to sleep, and I'll go back in the morning. But I'm having contractions (one as we speak. ouch) every twenty minutes or so, at varying strengths, so thats a kickass start...I'm sorry that Jack was cranky for you yesterday...that sucks....remember that sometimes they just cry to relieve stress, and there's squat all you can do about it, no matter how hard you try...Vicodin for breast pain? Sweet! Thats some good sh-t! :o) I'm assuming you've tried the cabbage leaf thing? Its supposed to work really well....or can you pump to relieve some of the pressure? I pray my active labour lasts only six hours....that'd be too cool...I have three Harry Potter movies packed, so thats about six hours worth of distraction...and the Family Guy movie....Anyhoo! Thanks for checking in with me. Week 41 is DEAD, and so I'm feeling kind of left behind...Hey, have you heard from Cosmomama? The last thing that she wrote was that she thought her water had broken....that was eight days ago!

Congrats on your baby boy! He's precious. How are you feeling? Is your daughter doing well with him? My nine yr old wants to help out so much! She's getting bored though with me being so tied up with the baby. She went on a vacation with Grandma this week. That gave her something to do for awhile.

hey.. sorry I havn't gotten back to you earlier. My computer took a shit on tuesday and we just got it up and running again.
Dude the milk lol! that sucks.. It will dry up even if you are leaking it's just going to take awhile. I would research ways on the internet on how to help dry up a milk supply.
I am still sleeping with Rowyn for the shear fact that I refuse to be up all night long.. I can't do it.. I seriously can't nap suring the day because she is always awake. I need my night time sleep!
Elizabeth comes home today and I am freaking out!!!!! I do not know how my showstopping 1 1/2 yearold is going to take to this... seriously she is a diva... there is no way around it... she loves the center stage... I am going to have issues!!!!! ugH! ttly

nope. no baby yet. Jesus, man, this is killing me. My doc is supposed to call me today to let me know if my induction will start tomorrow nite or friday nite....dreamt last night that I gave birth....to a little donkey that we named Becker....no joke! It was so weird. It was a home birth, and the first thing that popped out was his little hooves...funny tho, because it didn't hurt at all. All I did was squat and relax, and poof! A donkey! Anyhoo. Having horrible poopy pains today, yet cannot go...they've subsided in the last ten minutes tho, so thats good....no contractions this morning, either. Not even much movement. Baby was moving around when I got up, but he moved into "i'm going to squish your bowels" position and has decided to stick there....Hubby's off work this week, because the suspense was killing him and he couldn't concentrate, so we might go see the new batman this afternoon....maybe the action will whip up some baby! Anyways. Hope everything with your little sweetie is great, and that you'Re getting lots of rest when you can.....I'll see you in 0 months on sunday at the latest!
