Hi my name is Becky and I found out I was pregnant on November 23rd. Ten years after having our daughter we will now be adding a new addition to the family. It was a very big shock finding out I was pregnant, but I couldn't be happier. My due date is July 31st, 2008. A summer baby!

Hi, thats interesting about your sister and the Mirena. I am considering using this long term after this baby is born. I am just wondering if it was the same doctor that inserted the Mirena each time for your sister and if they did a proper job or not? Most of what I've heard so far about the Mirena has been positive... except some spotting on and off to start with and a bit of cramping to start with too. I have previously had a molar pregnancy too, but I think I know what helped to cause it! THanks for your info. Good luck with your pregnancy and birth!

How tall are you? My baby dropped almost two weeks ago and I had about a week and a half of no rib pain, then it returned again! My midwife said it's because I'm so short (just 5'0) and the baby's feet are up there again because he keeps growing and I don't!

You've dropped. Dr told me I had dropped but I still feel the baby way up high too. I never got the feeling like I could breathe better like I was hoping for. Does it mean our babies are huge? Hope not!

lol I'm so getting drugs. They told me this baby "was a moose" so that's awesome. That is, I'll get drugs if I don't miss my epidural window b/c I keep dilating with no labor lol...so irritating.

lol wishful thinking...wishful thinking. You probably just ate something that didn't agree with you buuuuut that is really what I felt like. I actually get it alot and am dilating up a storm lol...the doctor told me the cramping was from contractions, so hopefully that's what it is. If not, then I"ll come visit you in week 42 lol

Wellllll, it's possible you are contracting. When I went into labor a couple weeks ago I had the same symptoms. I had period like cramps and the (contractions) are what causes the loose stools. Maybe you're dilating...wooohooo. Watch to see if they get worse, more strong, of if you get a bloody show. Hope that helps :)

LOL I like how you roll. Jay says he'll come help me get the baby out but then he wusses out lol. I just have to take matters into my own hands and rape him lol.
That's good that he's that low. Maybe you're not dilating so that he won't fall out lol. When you walk do you get pain that shoots down through your pelvis? I haven't gone for a walk b/c I'm lazy and because it bugs me. My work won't let me run around, if I walk down the hall they say "why are you walking so much?" I'm like, duh....why do you think? They want to keep me as long as possible.
I wonder if your doc would let you use come cervidil...I think that's what it's called.

I felt so great the first time I was preg at 17. I was expecting this one to be the same. WRONG! It's odd how your body can change so much in 9 years. A friend of mine at work had her first baby at 36. She always says she's too old to have another. I never could understand why she thought that. Now I know! I couldn't imagine having another 10 years from now. They'd have to put me on bed rest for 9 months!

Oh man, not at all? I'm sorry huh. I guess he is happy in there lol. I hope you dilate some for your next appt so they can strip you. I'm sure the doc would be happy to allow him to strip you. If you think about it, our appts are so informal lol...at least mine are. You walk in, pee, go into the room, get naked, lay down, let some man who you don't know see if you've made "progress," get up, get dressed and leave lol. So cute.

I've heard it hurts too. Isn't what they do kinda like sticking something through your cervix and doing like a circle? Like, seperating the bag from the cervix? I hope he'll do it..if not this appt for you then next one.
I want to go into labor but I just don't think it's going to happen lol. My work is convinced I'm going to be out on Friday, they pretty much had the rumor mill going and people started thinking I was being admitted to the hospital that day for an induction lol

The doctor said yesterday, typically with 2nd pregnancies we tend to dilate then efface...but I feel like the baby is going to fall out soon lol. I'm totally having sex lol....get him out.
You'll have to let me know what your doc says!!! I've heard that some girls go into labor the night they get stripped. I hope he will do that for you.

Do you get sharp pains from your belly to you crotch? I get those, the doc says it's from his head. Sometimes he's down so low and I think he's going to come out and other tims he's up so high I cuss lol. I went to the doc yesterday and I was dilated 3-4 and 70% effaced. I am shocked I haven't gone into labor yet. Has your doc started checking? Maybe you won't be overdue with this one!!!

I guess now you won't be able to read it cause everything is deleted, but it said she delivered both babies vaginally but in her birth story she said she was scheduled for a C section and went into labor but the babies heart rate was too high so they waited like 8 hours then did the C section. The first baby, it said was like 7 lbs and 8 cm long and the second baby was like 5 lbs and 6 cm long so yea it makes no sense. But that is basically the story.
