love your post - i am 34 yrs old..i have never suffered (unduly) from any certain experience so far. i remember be tan and tired when my summer day was over. i would eat cereal be gone for hrs , resurface for lunch, gone again and be home in time to beat the street lights. I LOVE MY CHILDHOOD! we had Atari, but i hated the thing. i was never warned obsessively about 'stranger danger' , drank straight from the water hose (if you let it run for a few minutes you might get cold water) man - i miss it. i can't take my eyes off my kids for 1 sec. the tv is always on and i can't remember when someone said something was ok for me to eat. it really just breaks my heart. my kids will never know the freedom i had as a child. whats worse is i live in alaska and people thinks its safe - not even close. this is where pedophiles (and old buses) come to die. thank you for the nostalgia...

notimecj - Tuesday, 13 May

Oh and just so you know, here in Canada well in Winnipeg anyways you walk into obstitrical triage and you are seen and admitted RIGHT AWAY! you never have to way! Don't worry! I was in and released in a half hour!

tracylouella - Sunday, 11 May
Im OKAY! Thanks for caring! Baby s good and I am good too! Turns out she was being lazy and they woke her up at the hospital. She is healthy and everythign is okay ! I still have a fetal assessment on Tuesday to see if I have lost water or not. I have a lot to do but will keep you updated!

littlemissi - Saturday, 10 May
since 7 hours ago when she decided to go to the hospital? Nope, but it will take her a little while to get back on after a trip to the hospital. here is takes 8 hours to go to the ER, be seen, treated and released!

blessed-in-atl - Thursday, 8 May
I would excercize if allowed, but am on strict bedrest :( I am not on insullin yet but it looks like I am headed down that road.

tracylouella - Wednesday, 7 May
Thanks! I was scared, but I'm good now. Im only hoping that Im not leaking fluid... there is no way I can be put on bedrest with 3 kids at home, I'm waaaaaaaaay too busy! lol

mamajohnson - Tuesday, 6 May
Thank you! I guess I'll know more after Thursday...hope the results don't take too long! These ones took two weeks...I just assumed all was well.

lia741 - Monday, 5 May
Thanks for asking! Things are going ok, thanks for the tips on the free-foods it's really helping. My doctor said she was happy with my blood levels for now and kept my insulin intake the same. It's tough but it feels more manageable now, I was very overwhelmed at first!

2babies - Friday, 2 May

Renee-C. - Thursday, 24 April
HEY GIRLIE! I WAS JUST READING THAT YOU ARE FROM DALLAS. I AM IN PARADISE. YOU MAY NOT KNOW WHERE THAT IS, BUT IT IS NEAR DECATUR IN WISE COUNTY. THE STORM JUST DID A LOT OF NOTHING HERE. IT THREATENED US, BUT LET US OFF EASY. YEE-HAW!

Tremelsong - Thursday, 24 April
The 3 hour test was L-O-N-G. They said I should have my results tomorrow. I guess there's no use stressing over it at this point - what's done is done. I'll let you know what they say tomorrow. Thanks for asking and remembering! :)

lia741 - Thursday, 24 April
Thanks for the message and advice! I feel like it's a full time job too! It feels good to know I'm not alone! I was interested in the free foods you were talking about, is anything else considered a free food? Thanks again!

tremelsong - Tuesday, 22 April
I failed the one hour glucose test (165) and have the three hour test tomorrow. What were your readings when you learned you failed? I'm really worried about this!

veroki - Thursday, 17 April
i take injections everyday, it not insulin its heprain which burns like a mug! i was super scared when i found out i had to do them myself everyday but as soon as i took the first one it i realized it was no big deal. hopefully youll find the same is true for you. good luck!

MooMommy - Friday, 11 April
Hi...Just thought I would comment on the sling/carrier...I'm definitely going to use this most, as I have a dog who needs lots of walking and it's easier with a carrier and aling. I can understand your mom's concern - what if you fall?? But that is the same as...what if you trip while carrying the abby and drop them (this does happen more then you know)? There are "What If" situations for everything and I don't think that this is a huge risk what if. how many times have you yourself fallen over in the past year? K...sorry I didn't mean to rant...pergnant lady hormones and absolutely no disrespect intended. (My mother like's to put the fear of unknown into me too)

carlycanada - Tuesday, 8 April
thanks for that comment, the u/s tech said it looked like it had begun clotting on its own..im just praying it keeps healing. xx

mamajohnson - Monday, 31 Mar
I went to a chiro my entire first pregnancy...it helped me a LOT!!! They have these things that you lay on so the belly falls into it as to not put pressure on it...it's not the most comfortable, but it gets the job done. I am debating whether or not I should go this time too, as my back pain is only getting worse. I would definitely recommend it.

Anso - Wednesday, 26 Mar
He he...Read your comment about the warm weather...I too wish I could forget what a coat is (i.e. a jacket in case you were not being sarcastic about asking what it is...). And rest assured, we'll get to experience the 80+ degrees before the end of our pregancies so we'll get the best and wosrt of it all! Check out my picture on my page to get an idea of what we are dealing with snow-wise this year up here in Ontario (TOronto and Ottawa are both in Ontario, Canada)! Take care!
