My little girl is 2 weeks tomorrow and i am just able to feed without pain but they have to be latched on properly. If you feel any stinging or pinching after the 1st 10 seconds then get her off and reattach or she will rip your nipple apart. Make sure her bottom lip is in line with the bottom of your areola and your nipple is pointing to the roof of her mouth, When she opens wide to latch guide your breastv into her mouth and maybe using your thumb tilt your nipple back towards yourself slightly and she should latch correctly. Once on properky you should just feel a tugging or aslight massage sensation. This means your nipple is in the soft palet and not grinding on her hard [alet getting damaged.
This worked for me after getting tonnes of different advice. Try everything you hear as oone person will say something that works for you. Also use lansinoh cream from the chemist between feeds on your sore nipples as it will heal in between feeds. This has been a lifesaver. Hope this helps you latch successfully. Good luck, breastfeeding is hard work.

Hi read your last post, I hope I can help! Her mouth has to be open as wide as you can get it, bring her head to your breat dont try and move you boob around to her. The most important thing if it's not right and hurting take her off and start agine. Good luck it's hard but once you get the hang of it it's wonderful.

breast feeding is hard! It took my baby 5 or 6 days to get it. I had to use a supplemental system with this little tube attached to my nipple with formula in it. But my baby caught on and is feeding like a pro now. Don't give up on it.

BTW, are you thinking of asking for an epidural? I read a couple of horror stories and decided to do it naturally.

i am really not sure how long it takes to have the baby once they start inducing you. the doc said she would be placing a gel intra cervically to soften the servix and then take it as it comes. wonder how long it will be before the cervix dialates and the descent begins.

I got given wii-fit too about 5 weeks ago. I havent been able to use it much yet. but i did do the balance ones and the step arobics, but i dont think i could do anymore now, so i have packed it away until im ready, but im so excited to use it!!

My OB just says "you need to watch the weight gain". He says he doesnt need to look at my numbers to know if they are high or not. The weight gain tells him. Which they have been fine for 6 weeks...then boom, they are starting to get higher and higher. I do the whole wheat thing, whole grain, trying to do more protein.....

I hope it gets better though.

No i dont test my urine. I was never told to.
