I am hoping it takes me about as much time and not longer. The doc has already told me that she will be taking it slow and not rushing me into anything. she wants me to do it as naturally as is possible.

BTW, are you thinking of asking for an epidural? I read a couple of horror stories and decided to do it naturally.

i am really not sure how long it takes to have the baby once they start inducing you. the doc said she would be placing a gel intra cervically to soften the servix and then take it as it comes. wonder how long it will be before the cervix dialates and the descent begins.

I got given wii-fit too about 5 weeks ago. I havent been able to use it much yet. but i did do the balance ones and the step arobics, but i dont think i could do anymore now, so i have packed it away until im ready, but im so excited to use it!!

I had my little boy on Monday, he was 4 weeks early. his cord was wrapped around his neck twice but he is perfect and we went home together on Wednesday

My OB just says "you need to watch the weight gain". He says he doesnt need to look at my numbers to know if they are high or not. The weight gain tells him. Which they have been fine for 6 weeks...then boom, they are starting to get higher and higher. I do the whole wheat thing, whole grain, trying to do more protein.....

I hope it gets better though.

No i dont test my urine. I was never told to.

Breakfast 30 grams
Snack 30 grams
Lunch 45 grams
Snack 30 grams
Dinner 45 grams
Snack 15 grams

Checked at fasting, 2 hours after breakfast lunch and dinner.

no insulin! (THANK GOODNESS)

But i still have a hard time. Its silly, I need to exercise I think, but i can barely make it to the end of the driveway without a waddle!

I am not really sure what's going on with my sugars. They seem to be higher than they used to be, even with me eating the same food. I feel like i need to resort to eating only salads or something. even though i know i need protein!!! i did not gain any weight from week 30 to 34. then from week 34 to 36 i gained 3 pounds. My doctor was really upset with me. That makes me a total of 32 pounds in. I will be delivering in 2 weeks...so i dont understand why he is upset. However, my sugars have been more along 130, and he prefers 100. What do you think may be causing this? I used to be 90-100 up until just 2 weeks ago.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, It's been along few day's so thurs. My doctor striped my membrains I thought for sure I would have baby no later then Sat. I started contracting really good and regular at 4 pm on thurs. still contracting it's now tue. night I went to the doc. today togo over the prosidure of being induced tomarrow morning at 5:30 am no change in dialating of defaceing sense thu. so finally I will have my baby tomarrow for sure. Thank god its about time, other then all that everything is well. I will be giving birth tomarrow all by my self my sister was going to be my couch and support but she can't get off work so I will be going at this all alone. I think I will be ok though. Everyone I know has to work so I hope later tomarrow night we will get some visitors but we will have to see. good luck to you!!! and thank you for all your support I will let you know how everything goes after we get back home and settled in. sorry I can't spell verry well!!!

hey. I had a bit of a scare when i went in for the CTG though. anyways.. all's well and the baby's head has engaged 3/5 and she will have me induced at 38 weeks if i dont go into labour before that.

am really happy. how are you doing today?

Hey. Thanks a ton for all the support. My GD seems to finally be under control. The resdings today were within reasonable limits. :)

Am scheduled to meet the doc tomorrow. Lets see how it goes. Am soooo ready to have the baby. I think the baby is moving down. I've had some pains in myu pelvic region. sometimes like menstural cramps and sometimes like a heavy dull ache. I was just reading up everybody else's comments that said it was possibly because of the baby moving down and the cervix thinning. That sounds reassuring.

I am really thankful to you for all the support these couple of weeks since i found out i had GD. I was initially very perturbed. Imagined the worst and stuff. you really helped. Thanks again and warmest hugs.
