Wednesday, 28 May I was actually tested twice for gestational diabetes once at 15 wks (because I'm larger) and then again at 28 weeks, actually it was closer to 29 weeks and my levels were fine. At my 28 wk appt I had gained a total of 10 1/4 pounds and now I've lost 17 total, so 7 from my prepregnancy. They seemed happy about the weight loss. kristalsfirst -
Wednesday, 28 May i am with you on getting anxious. I think cause the day is so coming up so soon now that we are suddenly realizing how our lives are going to change so much and we dont have control and dont know what they will be like. Im getting that too, a little worried, hoping i will be a great mom and know how to do everything lol its deffinitly a learning experience, people dont wake up and know how to take perfect care of a newborn. Friday, 23 May Well my problems seems to be that my little girls really isn't a mover to the point of me knowing her movvement pattern, but her heartbeat is strong. I can watch television though. Thanks rhonnott -
Thursday, 22 May Thanks for the comment...I just read all the different websites and although the baby is growing fine, it makes me worry because it seems like nothing else about the pregnancy seems to be what is "normal"! blessed-in-atl -
Thursday, 22 May I am kinda nervous, I haven't gained any weight in 2 weeks which could be due to the limited carb intake, but the baby has gone from measuring 2 weeks behind to 3. I have an ultrasound on Tuesday, so I am trying not to panic too much...yet. All the issues are starting to become overwhelming between me having Gestational diabetes and being on bedrest and the baby being IUGR and having a pericardial effusion. It's really hard not to worry when all I am allowed to do is lay around all day. It's really hard for me that I can't even get up to go to church, I think I may just call my pastor and ask him to come visit me at home.
On a brighter note, I hope all is well with you on your side of the world :) noodle -
Wednesday, 21 May I don't like meds but have 4 other children-taking a unisom every couple of nights really helps-helped curb nausea too first tri so I could sleep and function noodle -

Thursday, 15 May love your post - i am 34 yrs old..i have never suffered (unduly) from any certain experience so far. i remember be tan and tired when my summer day was over. i would eat cereal be gone for hrs , resurface for lunch, gone again and be home in time to beat the street lights. I LOVE MY CHILDHOOD! we had Atari, but i hated the thing. i was never warned obsessively about 'stranger danger' , drank straight from the water hose (if you let it run for a few minutes you might get cold water) man - i miss it. i can't take my eyes off my kids for 1 sec. the tv is always on and i can't remember when someone said something was ok for me to eat. it really just breaks my heart. my kids will never know the freedom i had as a child. whats worse is i live in alaska and people thinks its safe - not even close. this is where pedophiles (and old buses) come to die. thank you for the nostalgia... notimecj -

Monday, 5 May Thanks for asking! Things are going ok, thanks for the tips on the free-foods it's really helping. My doctor said she was happy with my blood levels for now and kept my insulin intake the same. It's tough but it feels more manageable now, I was very overwhelmed at first! 2babies -
