Hello everyone. This is a very exciting time for my husband and I . We have been together for nearly 13 years, married for almost 4 and trying to make an addition to the family for over 2. We can't wait to welcome our little boy in January. I found this site while reading up on different things and always felt very informed by what I read. I can't wait to talk to some of you.

I am a diabetic and this has been a very emotional journey. I found out I was pregnant at about 5 weeks (very early). I knew I was going to be high risk. I have been seeing two great doctors, one who is managing my blood sugar, and the other who is taking care of everything else. I have kept my blood sugar under great control and this pregnancy has been great so far.

27 weeks and counting

I am 27 weeks and I've been feeling little Trent move arount a lot. He keeps me up at night, not that it's a bad thing, because he is getting me prepared for when he arrives. I am very excited about becoming a mommy. I think about it at least 5 times a day. I am going to see my doctor next week. I always look forward to my appointment because I love to hear the heart beat, or see him on an ultra sound. I will try to post more pictures soon.
