IM BEKS IM 29 AND IM FROM GRIMSBY IN THE UK. I AM CURRENTLY ENGAGED TO MY WONDERFUL BOYFRIEND LEE WHO I MEET A YEAR AGO AND I COULDNT BE HAPPIER EVERYTHING IS GREAT. I HAVE 3 CHILDREN ALEXANDER JAMES 12YRS, ELISHA ELIZABETH 9YRS AND LOUIS LEIGH JOEL 6YRS AND THEY ARE JUST GREAT.THE PAST YEAR HAS BEEN AMAZING THE BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE I WOULD HAVE TO SAY, THE KIDS LOVE LEE AND HES AMAZING WITH THEM.I COME FROM A BIG FAMILY, MY MUM WILL HAVE 14 GRANDCHILDREN WHEN MY BABY IS BORN THIS YEAR....LIFE IS GREAT.....

25th janruary 2008 4 weeks 1 day

Today i was 2 days late for my period and was thinking about doing a test but was scared of getting a negative result, we wanted a baby so much and we didnt wana be disapionted. I rang lee on his lunch break and asked him to pick up 2 pregnancy tests and we could do them later when he got home from work.Lee came home at normal time 5.30pm and the kids had gone to there grandparents for the weekend,it was now or never i was just so nervous. I did the test and brought it downstairs so we both could read the result together,the 3 minutes was up and neither of us dare look at the test i was shaking.Then i looked at the test and couldnt believe what i saw the test was POSITIVE i had to keep looking at it as i couldnt believe my eyes. Then i started laughing and then came the tears we were both crying and cuddling each other . We were both so happy and on top of the world.

15th february 2008 7 weeks 1 day

Me and lee had gone away for the weekend for valentines and lees mum had the kids. Hotel was great very nice and lee had booked the bridal suite for us as it was the best room in the whole hotel and had a bath big enough for two...We went down for breakfast which was lovely and then went back up to the room and when i went to the toilet i was bleeding so panic set in we tried to call our gp with no luck and because we wasnt in our area we didnt know what to do. someone from the hotel came up to our room and offered to take us to the nearesrt hospital as we didnt have transport. We got to hospital and by this point i was extremly worried and i felt sick, the doctor came through and spoke to us and then a gynocologist came through and examined me and said everything looked ok and the neck of the womb was still shut and she couldnt see were the bleeding was comming from. They got me in for a scan straight away, i was so nervous waiting for the scan woman to tell me everything was ok and then we saw the heartbeat which was amazing and instantly put my mind at rest. Even though i was only 7 weeks and couldnt see much apart from a little peanut i knew my baby was ok and that was the first time i had smiled since leaving for the hospital...

25th february 2008 8.45am8 weeks 4 days

Today was my first appointment with my midwife at the hospital i was nervous but excitied at the same time.When i got there i was happy to see it was the same midwife i had with my other 3 children and she remebered who i was which was nice and asked how kids were.She asked all the routine questions and did my blood pressure, wieght and checked my urine everything was perfect.Also while i was there my midwife booked me in for my 12 week scan (17th march) she told me if i had any questions or wanted a chat to give her a ring anytime.

28th february 2008 9 weeks

Took kids to school as normal and lee went to work.I started to feel unwell and had alot of pain in my stomach went to the toilet and was bleeding and had a blood cot pass through i rang lee straight away and he came home from work. I then rang my midwife who said for me to go straight in.Lee came home and we got a taxi to hospital, we saw the nurse and the doctor they said it could be a number of things. They then said i had to stay in over night which i didnt wana do but baby comes first.Lee went home to pick kids up and do there tea and then later on my mum came to look after the kids while lee and his mum came up to see me.They left and i tried to sleep but couldnt so i watched telly and eventually drifted off to sleep.

29th february 2008 9 weeks 1 day

The doctor came round to see me and said they was going to get me in for a scan this morning sometime so i rang lee and told him but they wouldnt let him come up to the ward as it wasnt visiting time which made me really upset i needed him to be there for me and we were both upset. They came to get me for my scan and i got the nurse to ring lee to get him to meet me down there. Lee got there just in time, everything was fine thank god and we even got a free picture...baby was fine and that made me very happy, Lee was beaming from ear to ear.. we went back up to ward and was discharged and was let home.

8th march 2008 10 weeks 2 days

We had bought a fetal doppler from ebay and had been trying to find babies heartbeat for a few weeks but was unable too with it being so small, but today was different we thought we would give it another try and was so glad we did. It took us a while i would say around 40 minutes but we found babies heartbeat for the first time and was amazing to hear we listened to baby for about 10 minutes with big smiles on our faces.

17th march 2008 1.50pm11 weeks 4 days

SCAN DAY

Was getting really excitied today lee had to go to work just for the morning so i had a nice relaxing bath and watched a bit of tv but all the time i was thinking about the scan i couldnt wait for 1.50pm to come round. Lees mum came round at 1pm ready to take us, shortly after lee came home then it was time to go. We went in the scan room and my heart was thumping away i was excitied and nervous all at the same time and i could see lee was excitied he couldnt stop smiling, and there it was our baby in front of our eyes it was amazing baby was kicking around and was even dancing about i could have watched it for hours. Everything was fine and we all went away with great big smiles and 2 pictures(which are posted on my profile).

6th april 2008 14 weks 3 days

Today was the first time i felt baby kick was an amazing feeling and was hoping it would do it lots more than it did but i only felt it 3-4 times but all the same it was great.

17th april 2008 16 weeks

Today me and lee are celebrating our first year of being together.Lees mum came over to watch the kids for us while we went out for a lovely meal.We ordered the food and a soft drink and was chatting away when lee pulled out of his pocket a lovely ring and asked me to marry him, i was in shock i never expected it and it blew me away i was speechless that after a minute he said to me so whats the answer i didnt even realise i hadnt replied, and of course i said YES.After the meal we went for a lovely walk along the beach front and even though it was soo cold i wouldnt have wanted to be anywere else.I am the happiest woman alive ........

21st april 2008 16 weeks 4 days

Today was my 16 week midwife appointment at my gps.myu normal midwife was holiday so i saw someone else but she was just as nice.She checked my urine, and blood pressure and both were normal then we got to listen to the babys heartbeat which was great i never get sick of hearing it its so reasurring to hear.Had a little chat then booked my next appointment which will be on the 10th june(i will be 23 weeks 5 days).

my partner felt baby for the 1st time said it was very light though..made us both smile...blimey can this kick..

19th may 2008 20 weeks 4 days

my morning sickness has come back with a vengence ive done nothing but be sick.i was sick all the way through with my other children so i thought i would sort of be use to it by now, but i dont think you can ever get use to being sick.ive lost 4lbs in the past 4 days so ive only gained 2lbs in this pregnancy up to now which is quite worring. baby is kicking away though and my belly is growing (it seems bigger everyday now).my scan is in 4 days and me and my partner cant wait.were not finding out the sex as we want it to be a suprise,even though the suspense will kill me i know it will be worth the wait,so im counting the days till i can hold my baby in my arms(19 weeks 3 days to go) :D

23rd may 2008 21 weeks 1 day

was my 20 week scan today and i couldnt sleep all night thinking about it..was only in scan room 5 mins it was so quick and baby wasnt co-operating he/she had there legs either side of its face and stayed in that position all the time so we didnt get a profile picture and my partner was very dissapointed bless him..we did manage to get a full face 1 though with baby looking straight at us :D....we are going for a 4d ultrasound at 29 weeks that should be very interesting...8 weeks to go..

24th may 2008 21 weeks 2 days

was laid in bed and i felt this almighty kick so i put my hand on my tummy and there it was again was the strongest kick i have felt yet i shouted for my partner to come upstairs but then baby stopped kicking (nothing new there) it seems to know when other people wana have a feel, but im sure they will all be able to feel him/her very soon when he/she is kicking my insides out lol..we have also booked a 4d scan now for 7th june(23 weeks 2 days) and then again on the 26th july(30 weeks 2 days) i sooo cant wait and will be much longer than our last scan what only lasted 5 mins we have an hour for each appointment and pictures and dvds yay im so excitied...fetal heart rate this morning was 160-162bpm....we made our cot up at the weekend it looks so cute my partner picked the bedding..theres a picture of it in my pics on profile

7th june 2008 23 weeks 2 days

today was my 4d scan i have never had one before so this was a whole new experience for me and my partner.i was so excitied i couldnt hardly sleep all night.my partners parents took us to nottingham to have the scan done and it was so worth every single penny and more.i could not believe my eyes when i saw our baby is was amazing and so so beautiful i was in total awe.the scan lasted 20 mins i could have watched it all day.we got 55 pictures and a dvd which when we got home we watched 3 times.i was so emotional i nearly cried but i hold myself back coz i would have felt a bit of a wally....lol. that night when we went to bed my partner had his head on my belly and baby kicked him about 6 times in his ear, he loved it and it made me happy to because he had finally felt a real big hard kick like he wanted too.so all in all the 4d scan was totally amazing and ive got another one on the 27th july when i will be 30 weeks so im now counting the days again...

13th june 2008 24 weeks 1 day

i havent been to well all week and wednesday was the worst i must have been sick around 25 times and i couldn't keep anything down not even fluids.im still not feeling to good now still being sick and dont wana eat anything but i know i have to try at least.baby is still kicking away sometimes i think he/she will kick there way out anyday lol.my partner has felt baby kick loads now and loves it everytime.ive had really bad heartburn and alot of braxton hicks,only 15 weeks 6 days to go and counting

23rd june 2008 25 weeks 4 days

today was my midwife appiontment and wasnt a very nice 1 to say the least, found out i have got group strep b, which is in an infection which can be passed onto the baby during birth,so i have to have iv antibiotics at least 4 hours before i deliver baby to stop it being passed on.was very upset when i got home, me and partner cried alot and cuddled each other. it wasnt what i wanted to hear and was a shock as i have never had it any of my pregnancies before.i also still had glucose in my urine so now i have to have the blood test for it at 28 weeks which will be at my next appointment.so im hoping all will be ok with that.other than that baby is doing great heartrate was 151-153bmp and baby is kicking away especially in my ribs which hurts really bad.i get so tired lately and my back is so sore but its all worth it and i cant wait to meet my little bundle of joy...

14th july 2008 28 weeks 4 days

i had an appointment to see the midwife today,listened to baby heart rate was 140-142bpm,blood pressure was fine and so was my urine thank god (the last 2 times i have been there had been glucose init)i had some blood taken for diabetes and my lft's have they have been abnormal in the past so im hoping everything will come back fine.i was shocked when she measured me and i was measuring 33 weeks even though im only 28weeks 4 days,yet when i was at my last appointment i was measuring correct,so i think i must have had a growth spurt the last 3 weeks,im hoping baby doesnt grow too much bigger i already feel huge even though ive only put on 6lbs.i still cant seem to eat much i get full so quick and im still being sick,but its all worth it and i cant believe ive only got 11 weeks to go and counting(or maybe a bit less if im lucky =)......

26th july 2008 30 weeks 2 days

today was our second 4d scan we got there around 11am but baby didnt want to play at first he/she had there legs right in front on the face and would not move for anything,so we had to go for a walk and a drink to see if baby would move.we went back just over an hour later and it had worked we got to see our gorgeous little baby,still had his/her legs near the face but we could still see.towrds the end he/she lifted there legs up and held them tight with his/her hands so we couldnt see anymore.the doctor gave us an estimate weight of around 3lbs 8ozs up to now, so looks like this could be my biggest baby yet.i would recomend the 4d scan to everyone its worth every penny.

4th august 2008 31 weeks 4 days

was my 32 week appointment at the midwifes today and to get my blood results.my bloods were all normal and my hb was 12.1 which is good.blood pressure and urine was fine and heard heartbeat was 151bpm the midwife said this should slow down in the next few weeks.baby is now head down(i thought he/she had changed position).so everything was great.the only thing is ive got swollen ankles and i have never had that before with any of my other pregnancies.my next appointment will be at 34-35weeks.

26th august 2008 34 weeks 4 days

was my 34 week appointment at midwifes today. my blood pressure was up a little, urine was ok.ive also got swollen feet and it hurts to walk.i had my show on monday and the midwife was a little shocked when i told her.im measuring 36 weeks,heartbeat was 138bpm.ive got to go in if i have any more pains just to be on the safe side with me having gbs, so appointment went as good as it should have.im back again in 2 weeks.oh and midwife thinks im gonna be having this baby before my due date, i hope she's right.

8th september 2008 36 weeks 4 days

had my consultant appointment at hospital today was only 5 mins long, they just asked me a few questions and checked everything was ok.my blood pressure was fine, ive put on 12lbs since being pregnant.baby is 3/5ths palp(engaged).i thought i felt different the last couple of days with pressure down there.

9th september 2008 36 weeks 5 days

had my 36 week appointment with midwife today, had bloods taken.blood pressure is fine.im measuring 39 weeks now.urine was fine.ive still got swollen feet. baby is 3/5ths engaged.heart rate was 140bpm.ive gota go every week now so next appointment is at 37 weeks...

12th september 2008 37 weeks 1 day

today i woke up with some bleeding so i rang the hospital and they told me to go in to be monitered.i got there and the midwife checked my bp and pulse she said my pulse was a little fast but nothing to worry about. they had me monitered for about 40 mins and baby was fine.then the hso came and checked me over said he couldnt see were i was bleeding from, and the cervix was still closed.so they sent me home and said to go back if i have anymore bleeding or pains.im also back at hospital on monday to see the consultant to go over over my blood results i had taken on tuesday as they were a abnormal i think.so will have to see what happens from there,im hoping everything will be ok.so only 20 days to go and counting i cant wait to meet my baby

15th september 2008 37 weeks 4 days

so today was my appointment to see the consultant and what a waste of time it was.we waited nearly and hour n half for him to turn up and in the end he didnt show so we had to see somebody else.they said my b12 was low but they wasnt going to do anything about it with me being due any time, so i wasnt happy to go all that way to be told that,they copuld have told me that over the phone, so i wasnt happy...

16th september 2008 37 weeks 5 days

was midwife appiontment today,just a normal check up really.everything was fine.she said baby was laying back to back so thats why i was getting alot of back ache.my feet are still swollen and achy.ive put on 12lbs in total now.so my next appointment is next week, im hoping i dont go that far, i so want this baby out now.....

25th september 2008 39 weeks

today i went to have my check up at the hospital.blood pressure was up slightly and also had keytones in my urine! im measuring 38cm so thats good.heart rate was 141bpm.i also had a scan and baby is head down and engaged.ive got another appiontment to go back next week.then at 41 weeks if i havent had baby they will do a membrane sweep.so im keeping my fingers crossed baby comes before then.

26th september 2008 39 weeks 1 day

so today was my test for GD.because it runs in the family and i had keytones in my urine i had to have the test. so i had nothing to eat or drink from 9pm last night.the drink wasnt too bad what i had to have.i had to wait 2 hours and i will get my results tomorrow. so keeping my fingers crossed everything is ok.

6th october 2008 40 weeks 3 days

well i had my midwife appointment today and she offered to do a sweep so i agreed, but when she felt she thought she could feel a vessel so she said it was best to ring the consultant and get him to see me, so we went up to the hospital, the consultant said what she could feel was the baby's head over lapping and it wasnt a vessel so he went ahead and did the sweep, he said i was already 3cm dilated which is great, and he thinks i will go into labour in next 72 hours so im keeping my fingers crossed hes right, ive been having alot of cramping since i had the sweep so all is looking good. if i havent had the baby by monday im booked in for induction so at the most only 6 days to go until i get to meet my little bundle of joy....
