On 2/28 we found out we were pregnant! My first visit with the OBGYN is set for 3/24.... we can `t wait! Currently I am not having any morning sickness but fatigue and pregnancy rhinitis, yuck!! Which means there is so much estrogen in my body that my mucous membranes are overworking themselves and creating too much.

Well my sinus problems have dissipated and I am feeling fine! Although I do have many headaches but I read that `s normal!! Till next week : Saturday, 15 March

Well, it `s hit me! Nausea! No throwing up but last night it started and my tummy just felt super empty and like it was swaying back and forth. I woke up today with the same feeling and immediately put some food in there. in addition to the consistent headaches. Do those go away? I also have like 4 dreams!! They were crazy!!

Monday, 17 March

Today I hit week 6. Yesterday I had the same feeling the first time I had a miscarriage A pressure and air bubble feeling. No bleeding and its gone today but its very nagging. No sharp pains but just a consistent bubble feeling. Is that totally weird?? One more week till my first appointment!! Cant wait to make sure everything is going smoothly! Tuesday, 25 March

I had my first ultrasound today and check up. My sonogram went well! The heartbeat was 146 a minute and the size was around 13.70.. I may be off on the .70 but i know it was in the 13.XX. I have the sonogram on DVD but cannot seem to save it to the computer My husband will have to help me. The doctor said everything looks good and he was looking fir any read flags based on my previous pregnancy. The baby looked like it was in a better spot than last time , free floating vs lying against the wall. If that makes any sense? It just be me : ) Anyway we are happy and will try to post it to the computer ASAP!

Saturday, 29 March

I have been feeling very weird!!! If I don `t have something in my stomach at all times I feel sick!!! I feel like I am constantly eating!!! I think this will make me gain to much weight, ugh. I feel very pregnant and my hubby keeps saying this one is definitely different than last time. I `m more tired, more cranky and even more hungry! I even feel like I am showing faster this time. I read if your pregnant before you will likely show faster since your muscles have already made way last time?? Wonder if that `s why or am I just gaining to much weight!

Monday, 21 April

Had my 2nd visit today with the doctor. Doppler showed heart beat at 160 a minute and he measured my uterus at 9 centimeters?? On Monday I go back for a sonogram due to the ultra screen. ( Only want it to get a free sono but wont matter the results). Everything is going good!!

Tuesday, 27 May

Went in again to get measures and uterus is measuring 14 centimeters. They wont check the sex till the bay reaches 20 weeks, pooh! I have been feeling flutters but cannot wait till we know the sex! Why is it that some doctors do it now while others wait??

Tuesday, 17 June

One more week till we find out the sex of the baby! We have already picked out our names, themes and are simply waiting to know....hotdog or hamburger as they say! Our little baby kicks and prodes all the time, so active! I have done a good job not over eating but eating healthy for us! My husband has had two dreams we are having a little girl but now is sure it's a boy? So funny. 6/24 and we will know

We found out we are having a little BOY!!! We found out today! I technically am 20 weeks and 1 day but based on my measuring I am about 21 weeks and 5 days. They said I will most likely deliver from 10/30 to 11/03 VS 11/10. At my U/S they said my baby might have one enlarge ventricular. ( Brain cavity) So I went ( in the same day) to see a specialist (perinatal) and they said everything looks okay but the right ventricular is measuring 9.6mm and the left is 7.6mm. It is considered very mild when it is over 10mm, so right now we are okay!! They scared the crap out of us. I will still see him in 4 weeks to make sure it is not progressing. But he was the one to say that my baby is measuring big and my Dr was probably a bit off on the due date since those wheels work a bit differently based on the make / model. I could have a Halloween baby. The specialist even predicted me having a 9 1/2 pound baby based on his size and estimated continued growth. DAMN!! I'm 5'1 and my husband is 6'4...its all him! If any of you know anything about this Ventriculomegaly , that my baby may have...please share. I'm curious if this is something that will contniue to get bigger and hold more liquid. Thanks!

We went back to our specialist and our OBGYN and everything looks fine! Only thing is he is already 2 pounds at 6 months so he is going to be HUGE!!!! Or I should say looonngggg! He is healthy, moving and we couldn't be happier!We are starting our nursery so we ae super excited. Life is good!

Friday, 24 October

Wow, it's been a while. I have been on the site but not writing any updates. Whoops! Anyhow. I am now 37 weeks and 4 days. Andrew is measuring 8 1/2 pounds! He is healthy just my little chunky monkey!! I am 50% effaced but 0% dilated. So my next appt is Tuesday. Here's hoping to some dilation!

Tuesday, 28 October

Well, saw DR today and NO dilation and no more effacing. He said by next week if something doesn't happen we can look into inducing. Last Friday he was measuring 8 pounds 8 oz. Can this baby get an bigger...YES!! We can't wait till our little man arrives!!! At least we got out and got to early vote today and look at some local day cares! Already pricing them around 1,000 a month.....ouch!

Wednesday, November 12th

Well my induction has been canceled and now I will be getting a c section. My doctor checked the fetal weight today and Andrew is measuring near 10pds. He is within the 95% percentile of other babies, meaning he is bigger than 95% of other babies! AHH! Friday the 14th at 12:30pm I will have my little chunky monkey. Funny thing is, I am still not dilated. ( Due date 11/10 ) My body said, NOPE to natural labor. Even though that's what I desperately wanted...although not with a 10 pd baby!!
