hi.... i read a comment of yours on someone elses page about evening primrose oil. im getting really desperate. i dont want to be induced but if i dont go on my own by next weekend, i will be induced sunday or monday night. im only 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced and still no contractions. do you think the primrose oil will still work for me? and which do you think is better... primrose oil or castor oil? thanks i really appreciate it if you can help me

well just thought i would ask because i know pet dander is a contributer...i think i am more looking for a reason to not go over to their house haha as bad as that sounds...me and the mother in law DO NOT get along and quite frankly i am so grossed out when we have to go over there...we have to bring our own sticky roller thing to clean our clothes...and when you sit on the couches literally it looks like you have a rug all down you back and legs...its so gross!! dont get me wrong i love cats and dogs but hate the shedding thing

I don't know my babies position because my doctor won't check till I'm 36 weeks :( Which I think is silly. It's a matter of feeling on my belly. Somedays I think maybe baby is head down (pressure) and other days I feel nothing and think she's breech. I'll let ya know when I find out though :)

Yah i was relieved to hear that he still had time! I was concerned about it because I have had two natural births so I dont want to have to go through surgery like that.
I obviiously will if I have to tho!
Good Luck

My Ob is sending me for an U/s because she cant feel the position the baby is in but she said that he still has time to move around if he is breech.

Thank you so much! That's probably the one thing I hadn't heard of before, but I googled it like you said and it sounds very promising. I need to do something because theses contractions are getting so painful. I only slept two hours last night! I can't take much more of this or I'm going to be worn out by the time my due date rolls around.

For leg cramps, only calcium citrate (400mg) or magnesium (500-1000mg)per day works for me. (Take the lower amount of magnesium at first, then if you get the runs when you increase the amount, it means you need to back off.) Since I know I'm low on one or the other when I get leg cramps,I just take both at the same time, usually in the evenings, because magnesium relaxes my muscles and helps me sleep.

Good luck!

wow sounds like a mircale haha thank you so much

For leg cramps I just bump up my fruit intake and I haven't really had to deal with them that often.

snowwhite5thbabe - Saturday, 29 Mar
I take magnesium and calcium for leg cramps.

luvdeternally - Friday, 28 Mar
No prob :-)

lovemybabyboy - Friday, 28 Mar
I had a terrible leg cramp in the middle of the night a few weeks ago. It was intense pain! I have found that if I flex my feet rather than point my toe when you go to stretch it keeps it from cramping. I haven't had another since and hope not to ever again!

luvdeternally - Friday, 28 Mar
I saw your message on the week 33 board about leg cramps. I got them all the time when I was pregnant with my daughter. Potassium is the key. I eat one or 2 bananas every day and not only does it help with the leg cramps, it helps a little with the heart burn. :-) Bananas are rich with potassium, and should help. I've only had one really bad episode this time around. My poor hubby probably had bruises from when I woke him up when I was in pain last time. lol

Where are you swelling? I went to the hospital yesterday and they told me I was swollen down there. Just wondering if it is anyhting to be worried about.

luckybaby - Wednesday, 26 Mar
hi there ! thx for the message. you are right i can eat whatever that craves me cuz soon itll be diet time. i cant wait to bring back my old body. Goodluck to us !!!:)

danny - Wednesday, 26 Mar
Oh my gosh!!! I do the same thing every night. I always wake up on my back no matter how well I prop myself on my side. My whole body feels like it has been crushed!!! I have no idea to stop this from happening. My husband even rolls me over if he wakes up and sees me like that. I am soooo ready to get my body back to normal.

OurBabyBean0508 - Wednesday, 26 Mar
At this point you should sleep in WHATEVER position you find comfortable. Don't torture yourself only sleeping on your left, that's just crazy. It's true that the baby gets better blood flow when you're on your left, but if you spend half the night on your right or your back it's not gonna kill you. Good luck girly, hope you feel better!

bloomingmum - Tuesday, 25 Mar
Hiya sweeetie...all good this end. Going to hospital in 4 weeks so they can review labour. They not going to let me go any further than 38 weeks if it is a whopper of baby.lol. My son was 10lb 4oz...and the doc thinks this one maybe be bigger!! OOhhh dont it make your eyes water!! Growth scan coming up , so we shall see.
My ankle are now swollen even when i just get out of bed...so lots more fluids for me. Hope eveything going good for you. Take Care X Clare
