Had my 4D scan and she is still a GIRL! We are 110% sure now and i am sooooo Happy!

Was fantastic, she is beautiful! I cant wait to hold my little princess in my arms!

Had my 20wk scan on Friday 24th Aug and found out after 2 boys im having a baby GIRL!!!!

Im sooooooooooooooooo HAPPY!!!!!!

8th Jan 2008....

Well she's still in there!!! 2 days overdue now and i am feeling very fed up and bored! I just wanna hold my little girl now. Im getting increasingly worried something will go wrong and i just want her in my arms so i can kiss and cuddle her! Arghhhhh this waiting is horrible!!!

Got a MW appointment tomorrow at 11am, hoping i wont need to go and that madam makes her appearance in the night (yeah right! lol).

13th Jan 2008....

Well still no Lexi-rose! Had MW come out this morning to perform a sweep on me, she did it and seemed very confident it would work. Had some strong Braxton Hicks after and a huge show, but nothing. Spent the day walking, eating hot food, nipple stimulation and bumpy car rides... still nothing! She really does not want to come out and im really starting to feel down.

Got another Sweep to be performed on Wed if still no sign, then if she still hasnt arrived by Friday i have to go into hossie to get induced.

19th Jan 2008...

Well its now 12.19am and i was supposed to be in hossie now getting induced. But when i rang earlier this evening i was told they didnt have enough staff on to induce me safely so to call back in morning and go in then.

Sooooo in about 8hrs i will be ringing to see if i can go in and have my baby!!

19th Jan 2008...

Well its now 7pm and i have had a very eventfull day, lol... called at 7.50am and was told i could go in at 10am. Put phone down and started to get contractions. Been having them on and off for 2 days so at 1st didnt think much of it. Anyway, they got stronger. By 9am i could feel pressure in my bum and they were coming more regular.... 7mins apart. Got to hossie at 10.15am and was told to wait. As i was getting induced i thought i'd wait to tell em i thought i was already in labour.

Nobody came to see me and from 10.30 to 10.45 i was getting contractions every 2mins. Hubby went to tell someone and a MW came to see me. She explained that because i was booked in for induction she would have to go see a doctor to see what he wants to do. I started Gas & Air about 11.20am and MW came back about 11.50am. She checked me and i was 5-6 cm. She said she would break my waters on nxt contraction which she did. I looked at clock and was 12pm... joked she'd be born before 1pm and 29mins later she was here!!! Took 4mins pushing and was a mad rush at the end! My MW didnt get chance to put on her gloves or bring in a crib!

We got home about 6.15pm and i feel fab to say i gave birth 6 and half hr ago! lol
