This website is greeaat! I love hearing about everyones experiences and being able to share mine :)
My husband and I recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We have been together forever and have talked about how exciting it would be to get pregnant for a couple years now so you can imagine how excited we were when we found out (after our first try)! We don't care what we have but we cannot wait to find out. Some days we think it's a girl, some day's we think it's a boy, so we don't really have a clue. I think it's going to be a boy because I didn't have morning sickness at all. But, the heartbeat is 156 and I've been getting headaches and pimples lately, so maybe it's a girl??? This whole experience is so exciting everyday! March 16 can't come soon enough, we can't wait to meet our little baby!!!!!

10/14/07: Definatly felt the baby moving around today :) It felt like little flicks on the inside of my belly and it lasted about 1/2 hr. IT was so exciting. Rob can't feel it yet from outside but he was still just as excited :) WE find out in 2 wks (10/26) and it can't get here quick enough! If it is a boy the name will be Graham Patrick, if it's a girl Reese (possibly Reese Olivia?) . I have bedding pretty much picked out for either one, i swear all i do all day is browse the internet looking for baby things :) Oh and I totally have pregnancy brain. I completely forget things i'm doing right in the middle of doing them, or what i'm saying, lol.

10/28:
Wellll....we found out we're having a girl, or at least we're almost 100% sure!!! Sooo EXCITED! but will be more excited when it's verified. Our experience with our 20 wk scan was not all that great. the tech didn't explain anything to us while she did it or point out hands and feet or anything and I only got to see the screen for about a minute :( Is this normal? Also, nobody told us how much the baby weighs or how big it is? I'm pretty upset and I'm going to call and complain and see about getting it re-done...this is our first baby and it just wasn't as special and exciting as I think it should have been. Then to top it off, the tech barely even tried to tell us the sex and was nonchalant about it! When the doc came in he looked briefly and said he had a limited view but that he was almost 100% sure that it was a girl! We were both super excited about that. Also, did everyone else get pics of the feet or hands or whole baby? All we got was 2 profile shots (which are adorable, but we thought we would get more)..are we just being greedy?

11/12: Well, we had our 2nd u/s on Friday. My little sister (god-mother to be) and husband were with me and we had a much better experience!! I went to an u/s center with a perscription from my doctor and was able to see a monitor in front of me the whole time. The tech was much nicer and explained each organ/body part she was looking at and she gave us about 10 new pics, lol...much better than the 4 of the same exact thing we got last time. We got a hand shot and a picture of her feet which is super cute because her legs were crossed like a little lady so we can count all 10 toes. She was actually sleeping the whole time, but the tech did get a perfect shot to say we are 100% having a girl. Now we cannot wait to meet Reese Olivia Murray. She is 15oz and about 15cm and beautiful! At the end the tech woke up the baby and we got to watch her stretch on the screen which was soo precious. Then she did a little pose (one knee up/one down and her left arm extended over her lifted knee and her right arm bent behind her head) she looked like a little beach bum in there (which is fine with me because I <3 the beach!!). I am so excited to go buy all the frilly lacy girly things I can! Hoping to start on the nursery soon and planning to register this weekend (i just wish i looked more pregnant than i do because i feel like if im registering i should be very pregnant looking, lol).

Also, I am starting to write a little book about baby Reese Olivia. I am writing about everything from the day we found out to all the books we bought to learn about being pregnant, to all our appointments, and eventually the birth and anything I;m experiencing or feeling while being pregnant. I plan to try and write about her first year too, we will see (i sure wont have as much time on my hands then), but I just thought it would be so awesome to see what my mom thought and felt when she was pregnant with me and when i was born that I wanted to do it for her. I am planning to get a nice cover and have it bound and maybe put some pics in it too. Is anyone else working on a project like this? I will let you know how it turns out.

For anyone who is interested in having their BIRTH STORY PUBLISHED, please contact me. I am working with a publishing company to compile birth stories - kind of like the chicken soup for the soul books but for pregnant ladies. Everything is falling in place nicely right now. The categories include: First time births, delivery after #1, multiple births, c-section births, premature births, and complicated or high risk births-of course if there are any stories that don't fit in those categories, you can still contact me and we may still be able to use it. There is also a section comparing different birthing methods and styles, such as home birth, water birth, birth center, and hospital birth to help women decide which route is best for them. There will be some funny information on the bizzare ways women have induced labor (successful and not), as well as the top fears of pregnant women leading up to delivery. There are no doctors working on the book, but there will be some interviews and actual doctor insight as well. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and contact me if you're interested. Happy Pregnancy Everyone!!

I use it for everything. I saw something on TV about it a few years ago and had to pick some up, and we've been hooked on it since! It was the only thing that would work on my 2nd. Other diaper rash creams made hers worse. I always smooth a little extra on my hands when I'm changing the baby to help tame my eczema. Good luck!

Just when we had them all figured out with the food and sleep all this starts happening ! I was starting to trip a little on my babys changing eating/sleeping habits but then I read so many posts and all our babies seem to be doing the same thing so I guess I will simmer down and go with the flow....last night Ashlyn woke up at 1am and after like 40 min of me trying to get her back to sleep I fed her 6oz and she chugged it all down as well , then slept until 9am! Craziness. Now Im scared for tonight though because she only has 4 feedings today instead of 5 cuz of our late morning and she only ate 5oz at one feeding , maybe 4 at another ....I think her only full 6oz bottle all day was right before bed at 8:40pm. Here we go again...........

Aquaphor for your baby's skin issues!!! It's worked wonders on my little dude

babyoneforme - Thursday, 3 July
My baby had the same skin problem. I bought Aquaphor. It is a very thick lotion, like vasaline. I put it on her like 2-3 times a day and now her skin is back to being perfect. No more dry spots. I bought it at CVS.

Pulling out is not always effective, even though it may have worked in the past. You could be pregnant, definitely. Remember, you don't feel the same during each pregnancy, so just because it's not like last time doesn't mean you're not. Take a test ASAP so you can either relieve yourself of the stress or else prep your body for a new little one. Good luck. Whatever happens, let's just assume it's meant to be!

momoffive - Thursday, 3 July
The cracked dry skin sounds like Eczema. Try putting some Aveno baby lotion on it. If that doesn't work call your pediatrician and they can get you a perscription or advise you to use something else.
on the pregnancy thing, You absolutly could be pregnant. This is right about the time you'd be feeling it. I started smelling things from accross the room about 3 weeks after my last period with Sam. I didn't take a test either thinking that if I didn't take one I wouldn't be...I knew better but the irrational thinking side of my brain took over :-) Good luck. We call your method the pull and pray method :-) I've never used birth control so can't really give any advice there. We have only gotten pregnant 4 times in 9 years. One of those time was only because we went thru fertility treatment. It must have worked well because we got 2 more on our own after that :-)

Camryn Jewel - Monday, 30 June
I gave Camryn the same amount of rice that you give your little one and yes her BM was green and the texture was more solid like and it would hurt her as it passed and so i stopped giving it to her. I will try at 5 months

crazyeights - Friday, 27 June
Thanks for the info. I did find a ticker for a weight loss countdown on the same sight I got my pregnancy ticker at.

crazyeights - Thursday, 26 June
Great ideas!! Thanks. I'm even wondering if there is a way to do a countdown type thing until I reach my ideal weight. You know, one that I could actually post on my page?

I am a hairstylist and have been doing housecalls since my older daughter was 2yrs old. Now they are all coming here. I put baby in the swing or just wear her in the Bjjorn for now. It works out great. My daughter is on our HOA swim team in the summers only and is now swimming in classes taught at the college which also competes and trains for the olympics etc. 2x a week. Currently she does freestyle , breast , butterfly and backstroke but gets her best times in breast and freestyle. So she is swimming everyday and 2x a day on Tues and Thurs.....its been like 110 here too so its been hard for me to take the baby and go watch. Where do you live?

crazyeights - Wednesday, 25 June
Careful with the cereal, it's got to be more watery in the beginning or they could choke. Rice cereal expands, it will give her a more filled feeling regardless of how watery it is. :)

algmiss - Wednesday, 25 June
My daughter is also eating like yours, 1-3 hours... sometimes more when she is going through a growth spurt. I can't wait till she can go a little longer. I am definitely holding off on giving her solids until she is 4 months. She is just 3 months now. I also hear about babies sleeping through the night, but the best I have gotten is 5 hours. She is only a cat napper too. But maybe things will change when she gets some solids. I will just enjoy it all for now.

crazyeights - Wednesday, 25 June
thanks so much, you bet I will :)

pregnantme - Tuesday, 24 June
thanks for the feedback. my honey wants to start on number 2 already. i could kill him. i am holding him close. when he's sitting in his chair he's fine. as soon as you hold him he turns his head as far to his left as he can. it's crazy.lol

srm31 - Tuesday, 24 June
Oh I want one of those seats! I need to go shopping. Its been so hard because my older daughter is on a swim team where she practices every day and then I have been doing clients (to get the $$ to shop) and just havent had any time. Plus it has been ridiculously hot here , like 110, so taking baby in and out of the car was not an option. I have some time today but again I have to be back by 3pm for swim............were going to the mountains this weekend so I need a pack and play too. If I knew for sure Id have another girl Id so have another baby right now ( if I had a girl they could share the room and get bunk beds later ) 3 kids didnt affect us , the house , car etc was all big enough but a 4th would change things more. Hope all is well. How is Reese??????

Maddux - Tuesday, 24 June
Okay...I will get that out to you by Saturday. Its hard for me to get to the post office during the week because their hours are so weird and I'm usually not able to get there when they are open. I will send it to your parents house....what name should I address it to? They might think I am weird if I put "bellybumbles" LOL!
