Contractions started within about a half hour or so...They do start out stronger than normal labor, but not as bad as with pitocin! My water broke on it's own last time, and my labor was 1 1/2 hours...
But 20 minutes! Wow! That must really hurt!
I will be praying for a safe delivery for you and baby!

I have an appt on Wed, to talk to the Dr. about being induced on May 5th. I will be 38wks and 3 days by then. I am going to take her homemade chocolates and cards from my kids...how pathetic is that! LOL! Well I will be able to let you know for sure on Wednesday what is going on. Good luck to you!!

thanks, im really hoping he's ready! I have a feeling that hes going to try and stay as long as he can, I just hope he'll get to be with his daddy for a few days before he leaves! He'll be gone 15months so it'll really mean a lot to both of us!!

this is true, odd that im 3 cm dialated though, and just now losing it. have a happy...birthing process? haha, it's not really pregnancy anymore, more like a countdown to when we can get back in our regular pants. : ] you take care as well.

I'm not really scared of the induction or the labor, it's gonna happen one way or another so fearing it isn't gonna do anything but make it worse! LOL But I've gotta say I have had an anxiety level that is just through the roof since I got my induction date. Since I know when we will be going in to have her it seems like thats all i can think about! I keep running through lists in my head of all the things I need to get done before she comes, trying to picture what it is going to be like going from 1 child to 2 (that's scary HAHA). I've been so keyed up that I can't even sleep at night. I just roam around the house completely exhausted and pray for sleep. Maybe this is how it's supposed to be, maybe we're supposed to get all worried and anxious and excited now so that once the baby actually comes we can finally relax! LOL I just wish I could enjoy these last 6 days a little more than I seem to be. You gotta let me know when they give you your official date, I wanna check up on ya. ;)

Nothing yet. I go to the doctor tomorrow at 10:30. I will give you an update when I know something. I am hoping I will go by next week at the latest. Figuring how complicated my pregnancy has been he will probably wait and be born after his due date. I just started painting his nursery yesterday. I have to put one more coat on it today and then I am painting the bottom half tomorrow. I can't wait!!!

Ooh hooray for nesting!!! I did my first round of that last Sunday (cleaned for 6 hours straight) :) Since then I've just been trying to maintain! LOL As for boys making you wait... Mine did! I was on bedrest for 5 months (pre-eclampsia) and they let me off it at 37 weeks, but instead of getting my butt out there and walking I just sat around and waited, and waited and waited. Heh. He finally decided to grace us with his presence 10 days after his due date and 4 days before they were going to induce me! With this one I was DETERMINED not to let that happen again! The day I hit 36 weeks I started taking EPO 3 times a day (and using one vaginally at bedtime) and walking as much as I possibly could (I even make the bf march my big pregnant butt around the neighborhood every night after dinner), but you know what? It WORKED! She dropped to 0 station within 3 days of starting that routine. I'm so proud. LOL Now I'm sticking with it cause I'd really like to not have another 37 hour labor! :) Course you've got the exact opposite problem! If I were you I'd tell the doc that you want a voluntary induction, if he won't do it then I'd take that ambulance bill, wrap it up nice and pretty and give it to him as a gift at your 6 week checkup. LOL

My goodness girly! If I were you I'd have the ambulance on stand by! I'm surprised that your doctor hasn't offered an induction yet since you've gone SO quickly with the other 2! Maybe you should broach the topic! ;)
