April 1st, 2008
Well I have been married for just over 2 years now to the greatest guy ever. We were trying to conceive for about 8 or 9 months despite everyone we knew thought we were crazy for trying so young. We finally found out in November of '07 that something we did finally worked...lol i was beginning to wonder if we were doing something wrong...By the time I took the test I was so sick of reading the false tests and didn't want to waste any more money but before i could even think it was going to be negative again it was like BAM!!!YOUR PREGNANT!!! once i stared at the little + for like 5 minutes with my heart beating i started laughing cause I tend to do that when I don't know what else to do. I went out and showed my husband and now 6 months later we are getting so anxious!! I think the hardest part so far has been trying to convince my hubby to go with a different name. My hubby is the 5th and wants this little guy to be the 6th, trying to change this guys mind has failed numerous times so I finally caved with the deal being I get full reign over anymore we may have (we want 4). We are truly blessed and I have definitely learned to just let God do his thing and it hasn't been easy to do that let me tell you, but all is well.
So far so good. 6 months and still nothing too terrible to deal with. I have had a little bit of hip pain that comes and goes randomly but it's nothing drastic. I've decided to go all natural but the epidural and different drugs will be there if I change my mind so we shall just see how things go. This little booger has been moving around so much in there, I love the movements because it always reassures me he is ok. I try not to worry about things too much like on the days i barely feel him at all.....eesh but oh well. I feel really blessed to have such a healthy baby.

33 minutes ago The thing is that it's either hers or mine. She lives about 2 hrs away from me so the family will only make one trip ;o(
They are all coming from another town that's an hr away. I'm pissed and I'm not sure if I'll cancel. Thanks girl Mindieswan -
Tuesday, 13 May I don't think anything you can say would make a difference.. so it's a waste of time.. I just go on doing what I know is right and that is all I can do... ya know? Mindieswan -
Tuesday, 13 May It drives me nuts. I can't stand the fact that I pay into it and when it's time for me to go on leave, I get the minimum from work and have to figure out how to make up for it. My cousin is 20, just had a baby with a guy that has 2 other kids by 2 other women. He told her she doesn not need to go back to work, she can get on welfare. She was raised with working parents and had everything she has ever wanted. I told her if she stoops to that level, I am going to be PISSED.. He is a total POS and works the system the best he knows how.
Things are going well, thanks... I am ready to meet my little girl. How about you?? littlerpm -
Wednesday, 9 April I'm afraid I'm very sarcastic and I really love letting people talk shit and just listening to how much they can come out with! Quite often the less u say the deeper hole they dig for themselves too. Oh well we can't all be perfect eh?! xx littlerpm -
Wednesday, 9 April Hi I read out your comment to my co-worker and we were both really laughing. I was having a conversation with someone yesterday about how others say things like this and 'your life will never be the same again' no really?! How can you fully prepare for something like this anyway? littlemissi -
Sunday, 6 April Thats funny you mention it. My husbands old co worker said that he has Kaiser, and at the Kaiser hospital where we live they "half-circumcised" his son. And he wasn't happy with it at all. When he asked why they did it that way they told him that is just how they do it at Kaiser now. I guess from the description he gave, it sounds like the foreskin goes half way over the head, not completely covering it up (uncircumsised), but not completely gone either. Well, we have to use that same Kaiser hospital, so we are going to try and request before hand that we want a complete circumsision or else we will have it done elsewhere. Hey, let me know if you find out anything more about the whole half-circumsision topic, b/c I don't know to much about it either and we are going to have to deal with them trying to sell it to us im sure. tally618 -
Sunday, 6 April I work with a surgeon and we do circumcision all the time, but I have never heard of a half circumcision. As far as I know, you either have them circumcised or you don't. It's a matter of personal preference, really. I suggest it very strongly for sanitary reasons, but it's a personal choice. robynj -
Tuesday, 25 Mar Just checking in to see how you are doing. I must say for my first pregnancy it really isn't that bad. I will say I have been so amazed how my son has grown and the way it feels when he moves. It is the most amazing experience. I hope yours is going just as well.
Peace and Blessings! mommyof3goingon4 -

Sunday, 16 Mar yea, i'm just going to continue helping my mom make the centerpieces and other stuff for the wedding but other than that i'm not going to bother because I have enough stress the way it is right now. I'm glad your sister came around for you. Thanks for the advice! heather51484 -
Friday, 14 Mar hey, thanks for responding to my post from last night. I tried talking to my sister today when I got out of work, but she just gave me the cold shoulder and said I should have gotten kicked out and all this other stuff...so that made me ask her if she was even going to talk to me at her wedding...she said maybe. I told her i'm not going to spend $200 on a dress to be in her wedding if she's not going to talk to me. She still didn't say anything...just kept saying all this crap, so I left. I have no clue why she's so mad at me. It's like she wants me to have been kicked out and for my parents to disown me basically. blasianbarbie -
Sunday, 9 Mar omgoodness! I am SOoOOo obsessed with string cheese right now! I try to hid it from myself cause I've gone on a string cheese crazy. And lately I've been drinking chocolate milk, which is so weird for me cause I've never been a milk person -- and IceCream..oMg. *drools* I'm addicted. Are our babies twins? lol. kim4sc -
Tuesday, 4 Mar Oh, I really like Alex!! It's a strong name...Congrats! That's a fantastic name. Take care! kim4sc -
Thursday, 28 Feb I know how you feel about the name sake issue. My husband's name is Francis Jerome and he's a junior (he goes by Frank). He's always complained about his name but the moment we found out we were pregnant, he really thought about having a third. In the nicest of ways, I had to tell him to remember all those years that he was tormented for having a girl's first name and if he would like his son to go through that. After he thought about it, he agreed that our son should have his own identity. After we got over that hurdle, we were able to agree on a name we both liked, Noah Michael. I wish you all the luck with this decision. Keep me updated! crystalwinds88 -
Thursday, 28 Feb Hey i feel your frustration about the name.... even though it wouldnt be a 6th... my hubby wants a third... but his name is... well... stupid.. i know... cruel. I love his middle name but his first name is Donald... eeeww.. im hoping i can still convince him to leave it at jr... i told him though that i wanted to keep his middle name and carry that on... i hope he goes for it lol and i noticed that your profession is an embroiderer.... thats waht i do :) ive only done it since i got pregnant though... i was a vet tech before but couldnt do my work without it possibly injuring my baby... so off to a screenprint and embroidery shop! daydreamer070708 -
Thursday, 28 Feb I know how you feel my first son is Everette the 4th. I promised my husband I would name him that even before we knew we were pregnant so what I decided to do was to find a cute nickname for him that kinda goes along with his real name because I really didn't want to call him Everette so I ended up calling him Evan instead even though its not his real name everyone calls him that even his dr. office. clreese -
Thursday, 28 Feb That is sad about the namesake thing. I would feel the same way. bethjs -
