I just read your vent. I actually told my husband that I dont want to see his mom while I am in labor. She likes to tell me "life according to her experiences" is the only way things can be. She know the rules of parenting from 27 years ago and assumes everything is still exactly the same. I know I wont be able to handle her know-it-all personality while I am laboring. Heck, I cant even stand her after 1/2 a bottle of wine (before pregnancy).

Yea maternity leave is different everywhere! Some employers here in the US actually pay for maternity leave up to 6 weeks I think, but my job just happens to be one of those that doesn't. Oh well. We will manage somehow. God will take care of us! Good luck with your pregnancy!

You are so lucky you can take such a long time off for maternity leave! I can only afford to take 6 weeks off, maximum, or we won't be able to make it financially. I get no paid time off and my husband's job won't float us for very long. I have to work up until the day I go into labor. Boo. You will have so much wonderful time to spend with your little one! Enjoy every minute of it :)

Too funny. Well, I do hope he "falls into the temptation" so to speak! lol For your sake and his! But you can trust me when I say, he's not going to hurt the baby--or scare it, or poke it or anything else my husband thought would happen during my first pregnancy also! lol And if you need help "tempting" him, tell him that you are way more sensitive "down there" during pregnancy and maybe it will turn him on, who knows? :) It's true though, orgasms during pregnancy Rock! And actually, it's the one time in your life you can have sex for just the pure enjoyment of it, w/o having to worry about getting preggo! :) Anyhow, good luck and have fun!!!! ;)

Just wanted to say, on the matter of sex, go on and have it! This is my 3rd pregnancy and believe me, I know--it'll be just fine! The main reason you should be having it now besides just plain ol' desire is b/c after you have the baby, it's gonna be around 2 months (docs say 6 weeks, but trust me, it's still gonna hurt then) before you can have sex again!! You're gonna miss it, and after not having it since Dec., your husband's really gonna miss it! That's the one thing they just don't understand about having a baby--the wait period afterward, and the pain! So good luck to ya, but my suggestion is get it while you can--and one more piece of advice--it's MUCH better when you're preggo! For you anyway :)

yea i hear if its 3 white lines its a girl coz its the outline of the girly bits isnt it?
ha ha i have this image of some evil sonograph lady now with a really tight bun in herhair n librarian glasses shouting at u for doubting her decision!

think the idea it may be wrong is what put andy of a bit he hates getting overly excited about anything n then it been wrong coz he doesnt like been seen as a lyer. hes fine with been seen as a cheating scumbag but dnt accuse him of ibbing coz he gets all upset tehehehe.

its more fun for us this way too coz it keeps baby convos open where we discus nams and such like which heps me coz i get to see him getting more ecitd about it. not overly but he does gt a twinkle in his eye when we talk abou baby now hes beginning to look forward to been a daddy lol.
