Hello,

I found out I was pregnant on October 17th 2007. We had been trying for 4 months..not long I know... I had not even expected to be pregnant this month either because I was cramping like I was going to start. So, I went on to buy my body basil therm and I was waiting to start using my new toy. I wanted to use my new toy BAD! So, I was actually excited to start! Well on day 29 for no reason while I was at CVS I picked up a box of pregnancy test..knowing I was not pregnant. I was just addicted to them like a drug! I had to pee on it! Even if it was negative.

So, I remind you I have been having cramps for two week and I had been real tired...but I thought I was just out of shape (which I'am) anyway I'm sitting there taking the test. I'm just waiting for the one line to pop up so i can toss it and get back to work. All the sudden two lines appear. I will never in my life forget that moment. First, I was like NO WAY I'm cramping something is wrong. Then I was so excited I started shaking. I took five more then I was convinced...I was pregnant.

It's been so stange saying to myself I'm pregnant! Or talking to my husband about the baby! I'm so excited.

How are you doing. Me I go tomorrow to get induced. I am so scared. I am still only 1 cm dialted so I hope things go ok. I will have my lab top with me so I will let you know how things go. I can not wait to see my little one. Scared to death though

No news, No progress, No induction date, No Baby. I dont know what is going on. I am now almost 4 days overdue and I have a appt thursday and then a stress test for baby on Saturday possibly. I am getting a little bit mad about still being pregnant. I dont know how much more weight I can gain and how much more swollen I can get. It is crazy how she is still in there. I am glad to hear ou are doing better. I know it is hard but sound like you are doing better. I will let you know what they say thursday.

Do you think you'll go back to work after a while? Where did you work? I've found that working part-time gives me enough of a break from the kids that I've got energy to spend with them on the rest of the days.

I'm glad things are looking up for you -- if even a little bit. How is your little one sleeping? Are you getting any rest? What's your little girl's name?

Let's plan to get together sometime either Tuesday afternoon or sometime Thursday of next week. My mom takes off in Tuesday morning so once I drop her at the airport I'm a free woman!

I saw your comment on depression...I felt the same way after I had my son...I wanted my old life back, but you'll get passed that feeling as time goes on...She's a new member of the family...you are also new to her. In few months you won't be able to think about anything but her...Good Luck

I'm so sorry to hear things have been a bit rough for you. Its so much more common than you think and its great that you know how yr feeling doesn't feel right. I had the same thing after my 1st and i found admitting it was the hardest part cos i felt like such a bad mum but it was actually the turning point for me and after a few weeks it did get better - it will for you too it just takes time. I think for me i'd always worked with children so thought it would be so perfect to have my own. I expected to have this great natural relatively quick birth and everything would be perfect and just fall into place but the reality was very dfferent! I had an awful very long birth with Curtis and took months to emotionally and physically get over and i think this played a big part with the depression. Having this crying baby 24/7 and not being as 'free' as we were used to being was tough. Do u have anyone that could have Allie for an hour or 2 just for u and hubby to go out for luch or a movie or something??? This is what we did and it felt so good. Eventually then we got into a routine and things did start to fall into place but i think Curtis was 3 1/2mths by then. Its not an overnight thing so take it easy and slow. It does get better hun honestly. We're all here for you any time you need to unload and hopefully you have a great family too like i did that can help. Try to stay positive X X
