Hello there 2 all, i'm kinda new to all this so please bear with me :-)

I'm pleased to say i'm expecting a little boy on 27th June 2008 and i can't wait 2 meet the little person inside me who seems to spend most of his time practicing (what feels like) starjumps!

1/10/2008

Well Cole is now 3 months old today/ 13 weeks old yesterday and he has changed so much its unbelievable!

He is sleeping thru the night (from approx 9.30pm to 7am), he smiles and giggles all the time and recently started to copy me by sticking his tongue out (he's a cheeky monkey lol).

I have managed to get back down to my pre preg weight but am determinded to lose a little bit more, still got a bit of a saggy belly tho but i'm sure that'll go eventually, well i hope so any way.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Cooled boiled water? Did it help?

Hi there
I just wanted to say that I have had severe cramping when it came to passing gas, and have to pass a bowel movement. i have not had a c-section...Only this week has the pain started to deminish. I think it has to do with our bodies trying to get back to normal. I have had four little ones and never had experienced it until this one. Oh and I for the most part am not constipated.

eulaha - Sunday, 13 July
This sounds kinda gross, but I think you may need to move your bowels regularly. I had a vaginal birth, with a major episiotomy and ginormous 'rroids, and a few days after the birth, I was having the same symptoms you are describing. As soon as I tried to move my bowels some, I felt better. Just try not to strain...take your time. Stool softeners may help.

I had a C-Section on the 19th of June and it sounds like constipation or gas pains. I was really constipated the first 2 weeks after the birth, and I would really hurt at night because of it. Also, with the birth you have a lot of empty space up inside now where your organs are beginning to shift back in to place, so there is alot of air inside which shouldn't be there and it can cause those horrible cramping gassy pains that can sometimes keel you over! I had most of my pains at night for some reason...and when I asked my doc about it, she said alot of women have that problem; everything being worse at night. Hope this helps and congrats on your little one!

I had a c-section 13 days ago and I was very bloated at the beginning. I don't know if that's what you mean you're feeling. I would take gas relief after every meal and at night and it really helped out a lot. I'm not taking it anymore because I don't have that problem. I also drank a lot of water and fruit. Hope this helps.

HEY CONGRATULATIONS!!!! XXX

Hey I read your post with a high baby... mine is also quite high. My reason is, that I have big amounts of fluid, and he is not urged to drop down. My doc said, that if my water broke, i just need to lay down and call them to be sure that the baby will be fine... Thats because when he is so high, something can be in front and with laying down you make sure he will be fine... Good luck with everything!!!

Hi, I just read your comment and my doc said the same thing. however for me it is because my baby is like almost 10 pds and the shoulders are most likley not going to drop. You can try sitting on a excercise ball and it will open your pelvis so the baby has room to drop. this info was given to me from my lamaze teacher. good luck!

gracie1128 - Thursday, 26 June
I had the same problem with him not dropping and I was 3cm and 80%. I just went to a bunch of websites on how to help them drop and sat up straight so my pelvis didn't drop, sat on a dining room chair backwards, went swimming (on front) breaststroke, walking, and on all fours 4 times a day for about 10-20 mins each time. He dropped on Sunday, so must of worked. Do lunges and squats too! Hope this helps.

hey my baby's head hasnt dropped yet aswell and i know its miserable cos it wont put pressure on the cervix hence no dilation

I got the feeling of the baby slipping down too, last night lol! It was kind of scary..made my heartburn alot worse, and gave me bad back pain! Baby's probably just making the most of the room it has left whilst s/he still can! :D
