Just beign so tired and i havent worked through my pregnancy and so ive had the boredom the whole way thru which is horrible. I rented a DVD called Laugh and Learn about Childbirth. in it the talk about the Mucus plug it falls out when you start to dilate, and she describe what it looks like.

Proud2baMommy - Wednesday, 16 July
Hi , the mucas plug is in the cervix and it protects the baby from bacteria passing through the cervix. You can start loosing your plug as early as 17 weeks but it does gradually grow back, I lost my plug 7 months with my first child and 8 months with my second child and they were both 2 weeks over due, This time around I started loosing some around 15 weeks but it has grown back, Hope this helps

Only 16 days until your maternity leave starts. That's got to be exciting.
I"m doing well. I'm still not feeling pretty comfortable and able to do things. Just recently it's started getting alot harder to bend over to pick things up, but my brain seems to think I should still be able to do it which can be pretty funny.
Are you going to start on the nursery when your leave starts?

mommy1baby - Tuesday, 15 July
I am sorry to hear that. I wonder if it is an increase in our hormones and the fact that the baby is getting bigger and our stomach's are being more and more pushed up!! I can't stand it. What do you do to help ease the nausea? Cuz at this rate I'll start losing weight again. I work too. Full time until I pop..LOL...you?

mom2be87 - Monday, 14 July
Don't be sorry for moaning!!! :) I totally understand hun :) Just wanted to help you look on the bright side of things and maybe be a little happier! But like I said trust me I do understand!!!!

mom2be87 - Monday, 14 July
Hey girl I read your comment about feeling like your doing this on your own! Well let me tell you I am! I am going to be a single mom and it sucks. I try to encourage those who do have BD around to look at the bright side of things and not so much negative. I know we are all very hormonal and such :) Its hard to look past those things, but be very very grateful he is even around!! Trust me hun it could be worse! But on the other hand I do totally understand how you feel...men just don't get it!! Hold your head up hunny once this baby is here BD will be the least of your worries :) If you need someone to chat with let me know!!

mum2be - Monday, 14 July
I totaly feel like i'm doing it on my own i feel that i'm the only one who cares!!!

htown1971 - Saturday, 12 July
I've gained almost 40 pounds already, also. At my last doctor visit she advised me not to gain more than 1 pound a week for the remaining 10 weeks. How embarrassing! I'm trying but, it's not easy because all I crave are sweets!

MrsSoller - Saturday, 12 July
I've put on just about 40 pounds already too!!!! I seriously think I am going to gain over 50 pounds by the time I push him out!!! I hope its a lot of water retention, haha

lbakkar - Wednesday, 9 July
Hey how's it going?
I just got back from my trip home (Seattle). Can you believe we're only 10ish weeks away?!?! How are you feeling? Have you started nesting yet?

Dhink - Thursday, 26 June
Are you on about the glucose test or antibodies, I dont think it will matter for a few weeks on either. In UK we dont even get tested for glucose unless our history suggest we could become diabetic.
The antibodies one is for blood is if your positive and baby is negative it will be a problem this test can be done between 28-32 eeks so dont worry

newmommy:) - Monday, 16 June
your welcome!! I just knew i had to figure something out because i love stretching but it was starting to hurt so bad! take care!

J.baby - Sunday, 15 June
i got a seriously bad cramp in my right calf after stretching my body too! I was sore for 5 days or so..it actually locked up and i had to massage it out. I have heard of it happening but was suprised when it did. My prenatal yoga teacher said its ok to stretch your legs, just try stretching with your feet flexed...otherwise it will cramp up. Ive been doing it since and havent cramped up.

lbakkar - Monday, 9 June
Well we're still unpacking from our move to Viginia in October (the office is finally looking like an office!), and depending on my Hubby's orders we won't have to move again until October of this year... but we're hoping to stay here until January or February b/c moving with a newborn would be kinda crazy!

How's the weather over there? It's in the 100's and with the heat index it feels like it's 110 most days (UGH!).

lbakkar - Friday, 6 June
That's not a bad situation for maternity leave/pay. I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy at your current job though. Do you already have child care worked out for when you go back to work?
Oh the baby finally got out of the breech position and is now in full kicking/punching glory. My hubby could finally feel a strong kick and now every few hours I get the wind knocked out of me with a strong kick straight up : )
I can't wait to see pictures of your nursery. I'm sure it will be spectacular.

patriciaochoa80 - Friday, 6 June
Crazy as it is, my baby is the same.. I havent decided if the baby is letting me know I better enjoy the computer while I can or what but I would say my little boy is the most active when I am on my laptop!

Sophieb - Thursday, 5 June
Thanks Bex! All is well... just packing on the pounds now and having a tough time sleeping, but other than that I can't complain. I started doing pre-natal, so that's been really good for relaxation and stretching. Keep me posted.

deshun75 - Monday, 2 June
Thank you for the suggestion. I think I may try it tomorrow when I leave for work. I know that talking will not do it as he gets on the defensive and would prob. get mad and avoid me even more.

lbakkar - Monday, 2 June
Ahhh I'm still so jealous! I love the picture of you in your dress. It's lovely, and so flattering! My hubby has kind of felt the baby kicking but he's still waiting for a really strong kick, it's a little hard since the baby is in the breech position and facing in though.

I'm pretty good. Same ol' stuff is going on. Stress about baby showers and flying home, and stress about finding a new doctor. yada yada yada.

When are you going to start your maternity leave? My friend who is due in 18 days is only taking 6 weeks (unpaid) and she's not starting until the baby is born... I don't think I could do that!
