Hubby & I are having our first baby in December, its a little girl!! check out my photo album to see pics of our progress

So far apart from some morning sickness in the 1st trimester, everything is going great and i feel healthy and energised.. i feel so blessed that everything is going so well!!

I hope everyone else is enjoying their pregnancy and looking after themselves and their little bumps :)

Timeline:

Found out: 5th April
First dr's appt: 24th April
First scan, 12 weeks : 1st June (Heartrate 153bpm)
First Midwife appt: 8th June
Felt first movements!!14-16 weeks : 19th June
Felt bubs doing somersaults!! : 5th July
2nd scan 18.5 weeks: 15th July (Heartrate 137bpm)
Hubby felt kicks 22nd July
Dr's appt to establish whether I am high risk (otherwise i can use birth centre): 4th August
Appt with my Doula 5th August
Appt with my designated midwife - 12th August
Baby's Due: Sunday 13th December 2009

Hey, just dropping in to say that I hope you have a wonderful last day of week 36 (we have the same due date)....can you believe we'll be 37 weeks tomorrow! I need to make it until December 1st at least though, too much to do until then! Anyway, take care!

Hey girly... for some reason my birth story didn't save so I need to retype it again. It took me about 45 minutes to write the first one, so hopefully it goes a little easier the second time around. :) I will let you know once I do it.

She is a week old today. My placenta stopped functioning as well as it was supposed to so she quit growing. I had her at 36+3.... she's the light of my life!! I've just posted a birth story if you want to read it! :)

I am just a little pissed with a nurse at my hospital. Baby and everything else is pinching my nerve and I am in so much pain I can barely walk. It got pretty bad and I didn't have my heating pad since I was at work. So I called DH to see if he would bring it to me and he suggested those ThermaCare heat things. So since I work in a grocery store I wandered over to check them out. All of them said consult Dr if pregnant. So I called the hospital to talk to a nurse. She very snottly informed me that if it said consult a Dr then I should consult him not her. So she had him paged for something she could have answered herself. I understand that sometimes they aren't allowed to say stuff but she could have said it that way instead of being a bitch. I am 8 months pregnant and I am in pain BE NICE!!!!! And I don't call unless I am hurting or so sick!! Thankfully when Dr called me I could use it but it didn't really help!!! Thanks for listening to my venting!!!! Have a great day ladies!!! We are almost done!!!!
