Hello everyone my name is Whitney Huff soon to be changed to Atkins I just got married Sept 1, 2007 and still have not been able to change my last name.. Because I havent recieved my marriage licence yet. I am currently pregnant with my first child hoping for a girl because my husband already has 2 sons and I just think I will be better with a girl boys are too rough for me especially his boys..


October 1, 2007 I will finally find out the sex of my baby.. Thats seems so far away for me I should have been in there this week but wont be 20 weeks till friday even though I know they can find out way sooner than 20 weeks they dont have anything available for me until the 1st of October oh my god feels like forever..

September 13th,2007 I have had the most wicked cold for like the past couple days It's horrible the only thing I have been able to take was Robotussin which might I add is disguisting.. Blech I have no appetite which is weird because I'm always hungry.. I stayed home from work yesterday and got me some rest that actually did nothing.. But I'm grateful I got to stay in for a change. This Milwaukee weather went from hot to freezing cold in one day seriously and as soon as that happened I start sneezing.. Sucks.. But as far as my baby I havent felt any movements today.. But I'm not worried because that makes things worse.. Hope everyone else is doing well.. 20 weeks tommorrow :-)

September 14th, 2007 20 weeks today oh my god its winding down.. Are there any ladies out there who have started preparing the nursery around 20 weeks? If so can someone help me? I have no idea where to start..I'm feeling better my cold is leaving my body thank the lord. Soon I will be good as new again...

I've been an emotional wreck lately.. Crying about everything I can think of.. I am so pathetic lol...


Sept 17th, 2007 I have been feeling the baby kicking like crazy.. Too bad the hubby missed it.. I felt it through my stomach it was pressed up against my desk and I felt about like 9 little kicks with about 2 seconds in between.. It was wonderful people were probably looking at me like why she keep laughing..lol it was so cute I love it I want my baby out here with me nowww!!!!!!!

Sept 18th, 2007 oh MY GOD I am having some killer heartburn right about now and it aint no joke its been this way all day today.. I usually eat lots of spicy foods and not be bothered not today though I didnt even eat any spicy foods it jusst popped out of the darn blue ohhhhhhhhhh my it hurts I'm such a wimp how am I gonna deliver a baby?

October 24, 2007 It has been quite some time since I have updated you guys. .I amnow 25 weeks and 5 days finally showing it.. Oh and feeling it too. I have not been having a good last few weeks.. I just got back from Mississippi for a funeral my husbands grandmother passed away Friday I get a call saying that 2 of my high school friends were murdered in a robbery so I go from one funeral to the next.. Singer LALA Brown and her Producer Jatonne Claybourn both found dead friday October 19, 2007 both went to high school with me.. This had been hard dealing with so many funerals.. But other than that everything with me had been great..

November 02,2007 Yesterday was my husband's 29th birthday wow he is really getting up there.. lol Well I am 27 weeks today and that mean I have completed my Second Trimester wow time is really winding down next week around this time I will be 7 months with 2 more to go.. Oh my oh my its excitng my stomach is getting bigger everyday nothing I eat makes me full but no stretch marks yet.. :-) Fingers Crossed.. I'm growing out of my maternity clothes which means my baby is growing big and strong,.. Well my doctor told me that your first child usually weighs as much as you did when you were born and I believe it or not was a big 8 pounder I was my moms biggest baby and hardest labor.. Which is not something I want to hear.. Especially when you are as anxious as I am.. lol Well one of my co workers told me I looked like I was about to pop.. Which I thought was ONE of the rudest things she has ever said to me.. She has kids so you think they would know what and what not to say to a pregnant woman huh? But she is too upfront with me I dont discuss my sex life with co workers its inappropriate.. So I do accounts payable so I have to get big boxes of checks not that big maybe like a pack of printer paper big and they always put them on the floor and I have to bend down to get them which I hate and I was complaining to a friend about it and the lady who says anything busts into our conversation and says well you must like bending down look at your situation.. Like who told you that you could talk to me like that you fat cow ugh she makes me mad.. But anywho hope all of you are having healthy happy pregnancies.. November 9, 2007- Well today I am now 7 months and it has been 1 year since my husband and I started dating but he doesnt count when we started dating as an anniversary just when we got married.. But I still think its important.. Anywho I am going shopping today with my mom who has been awsome through out this whole thing.. My baby is moving right now lol she is always so busy... :-) I am having a baby shower January 12th.. After the holiday sales ;-) But the catch is I am going to be calling all the shots this time around I let one of my flaky friends plan me a bridal shower and it was a joke so this time I am going to delegate certain people to certain areas and they will follow MY lead.. If I have to come out of pocket for somethings then so be it... As long as everything goes right then I will be happy.. And soon after a healty beautiful baby gilr in my arms nothing else will matter.. I have been eating well and trying to stay active my job keeps me walking but I am so hyper I do a lot of running well maybe not a lot more like run for 2 seconds and then walk... lol But I am trying to make sure that everything in my pregnancy is by the book I dont have room for messing up.. LADIES PLEASE REMEMBER THIS::: Pregancy is not a handicapp it is an extension of your life people think we cant do too much of anything becasue it will hurt the baby but we know better do not let people make you lazy during your pregnancy becasue you can just about do everything you have been doing with the doctors okay... November 24 how was everyones thanks giving? Mine was a little bad I had a horrible toothache and I couldnt really enjoy the food because it was bothering me but I know I was still trying to eat.. I made it work... I am 30 weeks and 1 day today time is just fling on by ... I am going to the doctor every 2 weeks now until I am 36 weeks so that is not that long from now.. I am going to be having my bundle of jo pretty soon.. I am so excited she has been ver active lately like she is breakdancing or something its fun though.. But I dont really have anthing else to update you on but anways happy preganacy to everyone... Later

November 30th I am 31 weeks today but it has not been going well.. My baby is fine I am fine but my inssurance is screwing me over really I have all these deductables to meet I meet my deductible in August when our insurance year is over in September.. The I meet the new one in october which leaves me with 2 different deductible and that sucks real tough because it just seems like I have to pay for one thing after another.. Quite Frankly I would rather be getting things for my baby with all this money I am spending on freaking bills.. Its ridiculous but I guess I dont really have a choice but to pay for what I have to pay for I really dont want to though.. It makes me sad.. On top of that my baby shower got cancelled which was in 2 weeks how bad does that suck? So my husband is pulling alot of strings to make sure I still get my baby shower like I deserve so that is going to work out in my favor and I guess I just have to suck it up and pay them.. ugh!!! Happy Preganancies everyone!!!

December 07th 32 weeks today wow!!! 8 months preggers.. My trainer at work keeps calling me preg lol.. Oh I dont think I ever told you all that my baby shower was changed to be next weekend by some people who decided that they wanted to throw me a baby shower December 15th then they renigged on me and cancelled.. But anywho I'm having a baby shower and that is the only thing that really matters.. I am the type of person that I hate relinquishing power for an event over to someone else.. After my Bridal shower it was a complete and utter mess.. I wish I would have known better then.. but anyways I went to Old Navy yester day and they have such cute little girl clothes.. But no maternity clothes.. I also went to Motherhood and they gave me a free bottle with my purchase cool huh? Oh well I am doing good today just cant stop eating every 2 hours but of course you all know how that goes.. All we can do is eat until we feel a bit satisfied.. I hope everyones pregancy is going as good as mine.. Countdown to the day only 8 weeks left.. ahhhhhhhhh I am so happy.. Baby dust to those ttc and happy pregnancies to you all..

December 14, 33 weeks my baby shower is tommorow lets see how it turns out... lol I hope all is well going to the doctor today to see if my baby girl is in the birthing position.. I know she is though because I can feel her in my ribs she is s happy baby.. December 26, 34 weeks and 5 days.. Let me first start by saying how was everyones christmas?? Mine was okay glad that its over next is New Years that's one step closer to seeing my baby.. I cannot wait.. My baby shower went well I have to get my pictures developed.. And I will be all good to the go.. My baby is in the birthing position.. My husbands family was tripping on christmas they tried to make me stand up and serve food for everyone when I am hungry and pregnant they want me to wait till everyone is done for me to eat.. My mother inlaw said I wasnt about to serve because I wasnt going to be on my feet that long and I needed to be eating first.. They were going crazy I was happy she took up for me cause I didnt want to seem like a grinch on christmas.. But hey they should have known better.. Mother N Law to the rescue (even though she thinks I am going to change my babies name because she doesnt like it.. lol yeah right.. The only way that name is changing is if a boy comes out.. okay) hey girl hey!!! lol Have a happy new year if I dont speak to you all by then,, Happy Pregnancies..

January 15 37 weeks and 4 days wow how time has surely passed us by only 17 more days.. lol I am so anxious and my back hurts so bad.. to be continued...

Jan 18 38 weeks well I know I kinda left you hanging the other day.. But i have been quite the busy little bee working hard getting ready for the baby and making this last money before I go on maternity leave.. Well I went to the doctor yesterday and my baby has finally dropped thank the lord everything is moving alon gin scheduled time so it seems.. I only have 2 more weeks and then hopefully my baby girl will be in my arms I have to still pack our bags which is kinda sad I know.. ;-) My regular doctor was out on vacation so I had to see a different doc who I didnt like from the start she took forever to get in to the room had me waiting on the table naked and she was no where in sight then when she finally go in there she was waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to rough with me my baby and my lady parts I didnt appreciate it at all I just hope she is the one on call when I have my baby becasue I might just protest.. Going to the museum today and chuck e cheese tommorrow birthday parties yay you gotta love them lol I just cant wait to hold my baby in my arms happy preggnancies ladies..

Feb 1 2008 today is my due date I am not excited though because my baby is showing no sign of being here anytime soon no dialation no softening no nothing. I am so frustrated with this waiting game I was almost in tears today when the doctor said nope nothing. I just want this baby out and I want to meet her now I have to be induced on the 6th yeah I shoild be happy that I dont have to go 2 weeks passed duebut I really just wanted her to come on her own. I dont know what I'm going to do but really what can I do? Nothing but wait wait wait and tweedle my thumbs today was my last day of work. I wanted to work up until I went in but I really now have no idea when I am going to go in so I am off now hoping I dont have to wait much longer because then it will end up cuting into my recovery time. ;( come on baby we are ready for you.. I hope everyone elses pregnancies are progressing right along thanks..
