MEL'S WORLD
Hi I am a mum of 2 but i also have twin angels watching over me that i miscaried at 12 weeks when i was 16. It was the most horrible thing that ever happend to me and the fact that i was so young added to the stress because i thought i had done something wrong. I now have 2 great kids (girl) aged 13 and a (boy) 8 and hubby and i have been TTC for 7 months. It hard to think that your body is failiing you when you really want another baby. If i do have another one it will be fantastic but if i dont then i will be happy with the 2 i have becasue they are great kids. (besides the 13 yr old girl hormones lol)
Please feel free to ask me anything as im really open and love to give advice. I am a bit of a guru when it comes to babys. If my sisters are having problems getting theirs to sleep its aunty issa's turn to bring in the big booby pillows and get those babys down for a nap lol. I must bore them or something.....

Just a quick update so you all dont feel mad if i dont get back to each and every one of you. I went to the hospital yesterday with brown discharge which turned pinky and they got me onto a sailine drip as i was dehydrated and gave me maxalon for the nausia. I had a scan done and it says 6weeks and 4days. So i was put back 8 days but i never go on what they say because every time they have dated me early on in the piece its turned out that i was right to start of with lol. Crossing my fingers that it all stays good. I feel a but wierd though because i had talked myself into thinking there was nothing there and that i would feel good again. I know it sounds harsh but its hard to explain. I think my head medication is messing me around. My feelings are all over the place And i am happy but i feel so sick that its making it hard to be really happy. I sounds ungratefull for the blessing i have been given but i am going to try to stay strong. Im a wierdo i know lol. Thanx so much for all of you caring you guys are my life line.

Glad to hear the scan went well. Does the butt shot help? I'm so tired of being sick and tired!!! I had a few good days this week but yesterday and today have been a mess!

HB sounds normal! We found out (by surprize!) at 13 weeks too. Completely wasn't expecting it, but if they happen to be in the right position, anything is possible!

Thanks hun - yeah we are all doing fine. I am so much happier now that I am working from home and don't have to worry about poor sleep at night. I can sleep in and have a nap in the afternoons now. Angus suggested that we might be having little vampires 'cause they are so nocturnal. lol.
Don't feel bad for having a little freak-out about adding a new baby to your family. A new baby and two teenagers (9 year olds act like teenagers these days!) will be intense
Every now and again I feel overwhelmed about it all too, but I have a feeling that things will be okay. We will both be okay

Congratulations on your pregnancy too, Mel! I hope that you are feeling a little better.
I was pretty sick from 8-16 weeks, and couldn't keep much down but fine now (except for the stretching, backache, sleep deprivation etc. lol). Luckily I didn't get 3x the sickness!
I can just imagine riding around on one of those golf buggies. lol. We will probably go shopping this weekend. I am committed to at least getting necessary stuff!It is hard to get used to the belly - it is growing so fast! Sometimes it looks nice and round, and then a couple of days later the babies move and it looks all lumpy with heads, ekbows and feet sticking out. lol.
Yes - the creme caramel was fine (just). It stood in the fridge for four hours as a monument to my self-control before I served myself up half for dessert (in two serves!). I am sure the babies needed it. lol.

Good luck at your scan tomorrow! I hope they don't put your dates back again! That would really suck. LOL You definitely don't want to be adding time to this misery! I have another scan next week....looking forward to seeing all is still well. I've had 2 m/c--didn't you say you had 2 m/c too? Anyway, my 1st scan was at 9 weeks and everything looked great. Next week will be 11 weeks...

Yes, I find it hard to be happy about being pregnant sometimes! It's hard when you have other kids to take care of and a home and a husband, etc, etc. I just want to feel good again, ya know? Oh well, I'm sure it's right around the corner...already starting to ease up a bit...

LOL I know--after I gave birth to my first, it was all down hill from there! When I was preggo with #2, I would completely pee my pants while puking. LOL This pregnancy hasn't involved a lot of puking (well, not as much as the other 2) but it's almost worse to just be nauseous ALL DAY LONG. It was so bad there for a while it was even waking me up in the middle of the night. At least when I retched my guts up I felt better for a few minutes:)

LOL I know what you mean! I almost peed my pants when you posted on the boards about sleeping being the only time you are not nauseous! I SO understand that one!
I'm starting to feel a little better the last few days. Still feel crappy in the morning and in the late afternoon/eveing but I do have a couple hours there in between that I feel better. I actually planted my flowers yesterday---I had bought them a week ago but couldn't even think about planting them! I was thoroughly exhausted after that one though! Hope you are feeling better soon:)
