With my second I was 4 cm and never felt a THING! LOL. Just relax and enjoy the last days of pregnancy. The farther you dialate without pain is less that you will have to go once you are in labor. 2cm is definite progress though. Hang in there. It could be any day now or it could be weeks. Good luck!

No it does not mean you are in labor. With my first child i wa dialated 2cm and even 3cm for about 2 and half weeks before i actually went into labor. Take care

just sent you an email with a piccy to your email account. can't believe all of that! let me know how you go and what they say. We may always end up having the bubs at the same time! listen if you do have to have the little guy early i'm sure he's gonna be absolutely fine. I think bigger must be better in terms of their health (although the idea of labour makes it seem more unappealing!) i think they've got to be stronger the bigger they are.

I've had everything here for ages, but haven't washed everything so am doing that tomorrow (watch me go into labour tonight)

got some more tips from a friend, can't remember if i have already sent them to you, apologies if i have pregnancy brain.

fennel tea before breastfeeding supposed to help collic.
peeing in the bath first time after labour supposed to be less painful.
there's supposed to be some oils you can put in the bath that help you heal.
don't forget snacks for you and for matt for during labour
my sis said a support for the bath is also really useful.

so those are my random tips that i have acquired. not sure how useful they are yet.

Hi
its my bump that they measured, so said that the baby might not be growing as it should be. i go back today to be measured again.

i guess worst case scenario would be that the placenta isn't working as it should be anymore, so i guess they would induce me, but i'm 38 weeks and 5 days today so..... i guess its not so worrying?

you're completely right though they say different things all the time.

its getting weird now as i have such little time left. there are moments i feel really uncomfortable and end up thinking i'm going to go into labour, but no sign yet!

my mum and dad came down at the weekend and i ended up bursting in to tears when they left as i realised i wouldn't see them again until i was a mum! i still can't get my head round it!

haven't heard anymore from kylee, you??

hope you are doing well. would love to meet up, but got my sister and nephews down at the moment. but will have to sort something out soon.

I haven't been having any. went to my antenatal appt yesterday the midwife was slightly worried that i am small so i have to go back next week to be measured again. she was very reassuring but i am feeling slightly nervous.

went to my friends yesterday (the one whose baby was unwell) they are both really well which was great to see. I however managed to go out without her number or address so went all the way over to her road, then couldn't remember the number so had to come all the way home before going all the way back again. pregnancy brain or what!

i text kylee about something from work last week, and heard back from her then, but only about work she didn't mention anything else - just said to let her know if anything happened.

2 weeks tomorrow! oh oh!

I have been experiencing the same pains. I hate it!! I have trouble moving from side to side at night and I also have trouble getting up in the evenings when I'm trying to relax. My doctor says it's normal, but it hurts ALOT!!
