Just set up my website and I am so excited. I am pregnant with my first child and so far everything has gone pretty well. Morning sickness wasn't too bad. Though I started bleeding at 7 weeks and that freaked me out. I went to the doctor right away and everything was fine. I am entering my second trimester and I am getting a lot of my energy back. Now, I still sleep a good 12 hours a night, but no more naps.
Last doctor visit I heard the baby's heartbeat and it was almost surreal. Sometimes I still can't believe there is a baby growing inside me. During the second week of November we will find out the sex!! I can't wait.
I will post ultrasound photos soon. Waiting for my hubby to hook up the scanner.
Looking forward to meeting new mommies!

Had a doctors apt today and I got to hear my babies heartbeat for the second time. It is the greatest sound in the world. The doctor said I could schedule my BIG ultrasound for the 17th or 19th week. So, I wait two weeks or a month to find out the sex. I am so impatient. Though he said the longer we wait we can see more of the organs and how they are developing. I am going to try to hold off till the 19th week, but will see. I just can't wait to find out. I have also gained 15lbs!!!!! Yikes!

Scheduled my apt for the BIG ultrasound! Nov 26th is the BIG day! :) I decided to wait till I was 19 wks, so we could see everything.

Today was the BIG day! IT IS A BOY!!! The ultrasound was the coolest thing I have ever seen! I am the most impatient person and I so want him to be here now. I want to hold him and kiss him. I am so excited I can't go to bed. I just want to shop for him and call everyone I know. He is kicking up a storm tonight. When the tech was taking all his measurements he wouldn't stop moving. Though as soon as we switched over to the 4D, he hid his face and fell asleep. We got like 3 shots on the 4D, so I am a little bummed. Though I am gonna pay to have it done again when I am a bit further along. www.peekababy3d.com

I had a major shopping spree today! I had so much fun shopping for my little guy. I took some pics of my favorite outfits and posted them. I always had fun shopping for my nieces and nephews, but it is totally better when its your own. Even my husband was oohing and awing over some of the outfits. I just want him to be here. I am already getting started on the nursery. I picked out some paint colors and I am trying to find a painter who can paint vintage airplanes on one of the walls. It is so much fun!

My hubby and I are off to Michigan for a week. We are going to his friends wedding and visiting his family. I am excited! I am going to see snow for the first time! :)
I had a great Christmas. Got lots of cool stuff for Presley. Colin got me an awesome video camera and a beautiful necklace with a diamond (presley's birthstone). Well, gotta run! Have a great week!!

Things are going great! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by! I just got another U/S on Friday. I was 28 weeks and 1 day. I can already tell he has daddy's lips. I am just so excited! I can't wait to see my hubby holding Presley. My husband has never changed a diaper or even been around babies before. I have six nieces and nephews, so I have been around babies and at least know how to change a diaper. HeHe.
We have gotten so much done in the nursery. Though I am not going to post any pics till we are finished. My baby shower is coming up and I can't wait!!

I so totally can't sleep! I starting to become very uncomfortable. Then by the time I get comfortable I have to get up to pee! I just want my lil man to be here. My hubby is so sweet. I woke up hungry, so he got up at 1am and got me Taco Bell. So, this weekend my hubby and I driving all the way to Ft. Worth to pick up a Valentines Day present for me. Colin bought me a new Siamese kitty. His name is going to be Blaze! I am obsessed with Siamese cats. One day I would actually like to breed them. I am a sucker for any animal. I can't even go into Pets Mart when they have their pet adoption day, because I want to rescue them all and I get all emotional. Seriously, it is that bad. Colin thinks I am a total freak! Anyways, I can't wait to have a little road trip with my hubby. We always have fun. We are taking my Tahoe, so I can stretch out in the back. I also have a DVD player in there, so I can watch movies. It will be just like I am at home....LOL. My hubby bought me this Tahoe two years ago, because we wanted babies. My whole family made fun of me, because I was driving this mom mobile around. Finally it will officially be a mom mobile!!! Okay, I am so rambling. Going to try to go back to bed. xoxoxo

I am home with my new kitty!! I named him Oliver. It is very fitting for him. This was an early Valentines Day present from my hubby. Oliver is so handsome, he comes from a long line of grand champions and is just breath taking. I have been so busy with him that I have been having major web site with drawls! Below is a picture of my new baby. I love him so much already.
So, today I went to get my hair done and I ended up cutting 5 inches off! It feels great. My hair grows so fast, that it isn't a big deal for me. That is about all the excitement in my life.

Haven't been on in a few days, because I had a little stay at the hospital. Everything is fine and baby Presley is doing great. Though I am not going to lie I was a bit scared. Sunday night I started having massive back pain and contractions. Then I started having major chills and vomiting. So, I waited a couple of hours just to see if it would pass. It was only getting worse, so I called my doctors answering service and they called me back ASAP. They told me to go straight to L&D. My hubby was not home, so I called my sister n law and she took me there and my hubby met us up there. Come to find out I had a pretty bad kidney infection. Which can cause contractions and all those other symptoms. So, they loaded me up with fluids and antibiotics. I am now home and feeling much better. Still really tired and just kind of feel like I have the flu. When we were leaving the hospital though we passed by the nursery to look at all the sweet babies! I can't wait!!! :)

Well, I finally uploaded photos of Presley's nursery. I am just waiting for his shutter to be made and installed. Then we can put the chair rail up. Other than that everything is complete. Everything is washed and ready for his arrival. I had a doctor apt this past Monday and everything went great. I had that Group B test done. Though I have gained 54 lbs!!! I am not worried though. I can lose it and most importantly Presley is healthy. This Thursday I have another apt and I will finally have a pelvic exam and find out if I am dilated, effaced, etc. Which I am dying to know. I have never been so excited to have a pelvic exam...LOL! This week we had a NEW outlet mall open up 5 minutes from my house and I am loving it. There are 5 kids stores and the prices are great. Besides it is good exercise for me. I went today and just walked for 30 minutes and just window shopped. The mall is outside in the open, so it's nice. Hubby and I are in bed and about to watch a movie. We had our usual Friday date night. We went to a cajun restaurant and had crawfish. YUMMY!!

Glad toe is better and bleeding stopped, that is great news. When do you go find out about your op that you have to have?
Dont let yourself get down about the weight gain, At least it is a problem you can do something about. I remember feeling trapped after I had had Alexandra, trapped in a fat body and thinking I would never be the same again and could never shift the weight. I decided to join Weight watchers and slowly it came off, so it proves it can be done and not all is lost!!!!! Now Im fat again though! Great ! lol
I waited ages to have sex after Alexandra was born, I like you bled for ages and ages and jujst didnt feel like it. It was hard for me to even contemplate it when all I could think about was babies! lol I was worried about it hurting (which it didnt btw)
I think the key is to not put pressure on yourself, dont think just because its 3 months that you have to start now.
I have friends who were back at it within weeks, and other friends who were more like me and waited months rather than weeks. I reckon the first time after having a baby is the most daughnting, but once you have got over that first time then things can fall back into place.
Get your hair done, have a hot bath, get some underwear that makes you feel nice, pick a time when you are relaxed turn lights off or down low if you feel concious of your body and if you drink have a glass of wine to relax beforehand! (just one though, you dont want to be plastered!!!!!!!!)... Im sure it will be fine from there. Just dont feel you have to right now, there is no rush.
It actually took me a while to get back a proper sex life, even though we had got over that first hurdle of actually doing it after pregnancy and birth, it wasnt until Alex turned 12 months that I felt we finally had things back to some sort of normality! Its all out of the window again now though!!!! lol Im back to square one! Dont stress too much about it, Im sure it will all slot into place!
Anyways Im going to run, Im going back to bed for an hour. Alex got up at 5.30am this morning and neil has taken her to the park to feed the ducks so Im going to make the most of this hour alone and go grab some sleep!

Re: Shannon. Loss can be so deeply horrific! But again, the faithfulness of our Father is such a comfort, guiding us through it and providing for needs (including healing). You can rebuild a house, you can buy new clothes (or gratefully accept hand-me-downs), but they were graciously spared loss of life ~ thank the Lord!!

Entering into the suffering of loved ones always makes me more aware of the many happy blessings in my life!

Hello beautifull! How are you, I hope that you are doing well... How is that Toe, and Presley? Hope things are better in your house this week.
I am doing ok thanks, no more signs of labour, a few braxton hicks contractions but no more plug!!!! I dont like to moan but I think today has been the first day where I am starting to feel like Im done with this pregnancy now, I feel heavy and swollen and cant seem to motivate myself to get anything done. Normally I am so busy with a million jobs to do, but I cant seem to gather any energy to do anything at the moment. It has been HOT here today aswel and that has made me feel even more uncomfortable! I am tired too, and in desperate need of a daytime nap, but Alexandra doesnt nap in the day anymore so Im a bit stuck! Neil took the day off work yesterday and it was wonderful to have him around as I got some much needed rest.
I cant complain too much though because Alexandra is being so well behaved, and Neil is soooo supportive and caring Together they are making each day of these last few days of pregnancy happy ones. Alex doesnt nap in the day, but shes in bed by 6.30pm in the evening so I get a long evening to myself to unwind, so its not all bad!
Im getting excited now about the birth and meeting my new baby, I just hope my last few weeks go fast and that I stay healthy and well. Swelling and tiredness I can cope with !!! lol
Anyways enough about me, sorry if I have seemed to grumble on, I am not that bad really. Just had a bit of an uncomfortable day. Im sure tomorow I will be feeling back to my energetic self!

Friday never comes quick enough for me. I am literally dragging myself Thursday afternoons...lol
Yeah I made it to the 3 month mark and that makes me feel like a queen. I really wanted to make it the first 3 months. So are you strictly on formula now?
There is no way I could venture there then. I have such bad asthma/chronic bronchitis/copd (no i don't smoke, I was born prematurely). I can barely go outside here without dying. We had an unbelievable winter this year. Middle of March we got like 15 inches of snow!! Of course I was BIG pregnant then...so I really didn't get to enjoy it so much.
Mason's dad has some serious issues that he thinks he has overcame, but I can tell by the way he still talks that he really hasn't. I dunno he if will ever learn?
The only thing better than laundry is the dishes :P
