Just set up my website and I am so excited. I am pregnant with my first child and so far everything has gone pretty well. Morning sickness wasn't too bad. Though I started bleeding at 7 weeks and that freaked me out. I went to the doctor right away and everything was fine. I am entering my second trimester and I am getting a lot of my energy back. Now, I still sleep a good 12 hours a night, but no more naps.
Last doctor visit I heard the baby's heartbeat and it was almost surreal. Sometimes I still can't believe there is a baby growing inside me. During the second week of November we will find out the sex!! I can't wait.
I will post ultrasound photos soon. Waiting for my hubby to hook up the scanner.
Looking forward to meeting new mommies!

Had a doctors apt today and I got to hear my babies heartbeat for the second time. It is the greatest sound in the world. The doctor said I could schedule my BIG ultrasound for the 17th or 19th week. So, I wait two weeks or a month to find out the sex. I am so impatient. Though he said the longer we wait we can see more of the organs and how they are developing. I am going to try to hold off till the 19th week, but will see. I just can't wait to find out. I have also gained 15lbs!!!!! Yikes!

Scheduled my apt for the BIG ultrasound! Nov 26th is the BIG day! :) I decided to wait till I was 19 wks, so we could see everything.

Today was the BIG day! IT IS A BOY!!! The ultrasound was the coolest thing I have ever seen! I am the most impatient person and I so want him to be here now. I want to hold him and kiss him. I am so excited I can't go to bed. I just want to shop for him and call everyone I know. He is kicking up a storm tonight. When the tech was taking all his measurements he wouldn't stop moving. Though as soon as we switched over to the 4D, he hid his face and fell asleep. We got like 3 shots on the 4D, so I am a little bummed. Though I am gonna pay to have it done again when I am a bit further along. www.peekababy3d.com

I had a major shopping spree today! I had so much fun shopping for my little guy. I took some pics of my favorite outfits and posted them. I always had fun shopping for my nieces and nephews, but it is totally better when its your own. Even my husband was oohing and awing over some of the outfits. I just want him to be here. I am already getting started on the nursery. I picked out some paint colors and I am trying to find a painter who can paint vintage airplanes on one of the walls. It is so much fun!

My hubby and I are off to Michigan for a week. We are going to his friends wedding and visiting his family. I am excited! I am going to see snow for the first time! :)
I had a great Christmas. Got lots of cool stuff for Presley. Colin got me an awesome video camera and a beautiful necklace with a diamond (presley's birthstone). Well, gotta run! Have a great week!!

Things are going great! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by! I just got another U/S on Friday. I was 28 weeks and 1 day. I can already tell he has daddy's lips. I am just so excited! I can't wait to see my hubby holding Presley. My husband has never changed a diaper or even been around babies before. I have six nieces and nephews, so I have been around babies and at least know how to change a diaper. HeHe.
We have gotten so much done in the nursery. Though I am not going to post any pics till we are finished. My baby shower is coming up and I can't wait!!

I so totally can't sleep! I starting to become very uncomfortable. Then by the time I get comfortable I have to get up to pee! I just want my lil man to be here. My hubby is so sweet. I woke up hungry, so he got up at 1am and got me Taco Bell. So, this weekend my hubby and I driving all the way to Ft. Worth to pick up a Valentines Day present for me. Colin bought me a new Siamese kitty. His name is going to be Blaze! I am obsessed with Siamese cats. One day I would actually like to breed them. I am a sucker for any animal. I can't even go into Pets Mart when they have their pet adoption day, because I want to rescue them all and I get all emotional. Seriously, it is that bad. Colin thinks I am a total freak! Anyways, I can't wait to have a little road trip with my hubby. We always have fun. We are taking my Tahoe, so I can stretch out in the back. I also have a DVD player in there, so I can watch movies. It will be just like I am at home....LOL. My hubby bought me this Tahoe two years ago, because we wanted babies. My whole family made fun of me, because I was driving this mom mobile around. Finally it will officially be a mom mobile!!! Okay, I am so rambling. Going to try to go back to bed. xoxoxo

I am home with my new kitty!! I named him Oliver. It is very fitting for him. This was an early Valentines Day present from my hubby. Oliver is so handsome, he comes from a long line of grand champions and is just breath taking. I have been so busy with him that I have been having major web site with drawls! Below is a picture of my new baby. I love him so much already.
So, today I went to get my hair done and I ended up cutting 5 inches off! It feels great. My hair grows so fast, that it isn't a big deal for me. That is about all the excitement in my life.

Haven't been on in a few days, because I had a little stay at the hospital. Everything is fine and baby Presley is doing great. Though I am not going to lie I was a bit scared. Sunday night I started having massive back pain and contractions. Then I started having major chills and vomiting. So, I waited a couple of hours just to see if it would pass. It was only getting worse, so I called my doctors answering service and they called me back ASAP. They told me to go straight to L&D. My hubby was not home, so I called my sister n law and she took me there and my hubby met us up there. Come to find out I had a pretty bad kidney infection. Which can cause contractions and all those other symptoms. So, they loaded me up with fluids and antibiotics. I am now home and feeling much better. Still really tired and just kind of feel like I have the flu. When we were leaving the hospital though we passed by the nursery to look at all the sweet babies! I can't wait!!! :)

Well, I finally uploaded photos of Presley's nursery. I am just waiting for his shutter to be made and installed. Then we can put the chair rail up. Other than that everything is complete. Everything is washed and ready for his arrival. I had a doctor apt this past Monday and everything went great. I had that Group B test done. Though I have gained 54 lbs!!! I am not worried though. I can lose it and most importantly Presley is healthy. This Thursday I have another apt and I will finally have a pelvic exam and find out if I am dilated, effaced, etc. Which I am dying to know. I have never been so excited to have a pelvic exam...LOL! This week we had a NEW outlet mall open up 5 minutes from my house and I am loving it. There are 5 kids stores and the prices are great. Besides it is good exercise for me. I went today and just walked for 30 minutes and just window shopped. The mall is outside in the open, so it's nice. Hubby and I are in bed and about to watch a movie. We had our usual Friday date night. We went to a cajun restaurant and had crawfish. YUMMY!!

Hi Suz...thanks for asking about Aubrey...she is WONDERFUL...it breaks my heart to leave her to go to work but she is in the care of a wonderful nanny...though i wish it was me :( i was at the hospital all day yesterday..my sister had her baby...Ava Rose...she is just beautiful and Aubrey's first cousin!!! they will be great friends...we can't wait for them to play together...Presley is getting so big...isn't it great!!! I don't get on as much as I want to because of work and the precious time I spend with my daughter...I fall more in love each day! Talk to you soon!

I agree about the Christian thing to do. It gets hard sometimes, that's for sure.
Gas is right around $4.00. Fluctuating here and there. It's terrible.
I think we would look for a rental first when we come down there. Is it hard to find houses for rent?? With how big our family is we would need a house for sure. Ok, talking to you about it is getting me totally psyched to make the move!! My dad wants us to come close to him and my stepmom. They are in Livingston, just north of Houston. It's such a big state, so many cities to choose from. We love it there. We have been saying it for years. "We should just go to Texas". We hate winter, the cold, the snow.It's so boring here too. Even with Chicago being so close, there is just not a lot to do with kids that doesn't cost a fortune. I love how clean the big cities in Texas are. It's soooo filthy here. I am always amazed by the cleanliness of Texas. Silly, I know, but I am a clean freak. I like things just so. My poor kids and hubby:)

I'll keep ya posted on The Big Move, for sure. LOL. My girlfriend is pushing Austin big time.She loves it there. My husband isn't too thrilled about her moving too. Let's just say she isn't the most ethical/moral person around and he's always been a little leary of her. She hasn't always been the greatest friend to me either, so, I suppose his feelings are pretty warranted. Anyway, is Austin really pricey?? How's the cost of living and the job situation? We figured we'd probably have to live on the outskirts somewhere. I have to really start studying up on the different areas. Just so we make the best choice possible. My husband is going to start putting some feelers out there as far as jobs with the on-line services. He's in sales so it shouldn't be too hard.

We're thinking somewhere between Austin and Dallas. My daughter would probably transfer to Baylor and my 16 year old wants to get in to A&M, so, in the middle would probably be good. We are in the very preliminary talks right now. LOL. It would be a huge undertaking but we want to so bad. As far as smoking...It's been a year and a half and there are still times I want one terribly. My husband still smokes too. Outside but when you know their out there it's tough. I hate it enough to stay away, I think. Somedays though oh boy would I love one!! Especially when I know I'd drop weight if I smoked. Sad, isn't it? Well, you, me and Margy will have to keep each other off of cigarettes and out of the pantry!! LOL. ~Amy

Hi, I am really glad that you contacted me. I remember messaging you when we were both pregnant. I am also a cat lover, and I posted some comments on your cat pictures about how adorable they are.
I also really like this second diet page idea. I found out about it when I read the page of crazyeights2 (her original page is crazyeights). After reading your diet story and reading what some of the other mothers have written on their pages, I can totally relate. I think that we are all in the same boat.
I had my baby on June 13, 2008. I have lost some weight, but it has been frustrating because I was hoping that it would come off faster that it has. Also, I have always been on the thin side my whole life, so it is frustrating for me to have all these super cool clothes that I can not fit into. And, I do not want to get new clothes, especially because when I was thinner I loved the way I felt and the way clothes looked on me.
I think it is a great idea for all of us in the group to add each other as friends and exchange any dieting tips, information, progress or just to plain vent. I am using my margysd2 page for just dieting. My original default page with information about my pregnancy is at margysd.

I know ... they are soooo cute together and Alexandra has been so loving with her no signs of jealousy at all which is amazing. It feels like Izabella has been here forever now, cant remember life without her! She has fitted in really well, in fact Im actually enjoying it more second time around because Im not so on edge or worried about everything because Ive done it before!
I feel an immense sense of responsibility now though and just looked behind me in the car today and there were two kids sat there, two kids who need and depend on me. I was quite overwhelmed with a mixture of emotions, firstly tremendous love for them both and at the same time nervousness at the responsibility. I hope I can live up to what is expected of me and that I can do a good job.
I tell you what though I was really worried about what my body would be like after the birth, because after Alex my tummy was a flabby and covered in stretch marks (great big purple ones)!and I weighed in at nearly 240 lbs. I managed to get me weight down at weight watchers and the stretch marks had faded and were a faint silver colour (not noticeable) then I got pregnant again!!! But I have to be honest this time around no stretch marks, tummy not too flabby and I can wear my pre pregnancy clothes. I have to work on my muscles and could do with shifting a few stones but this time around my body doesnt seem to have taken such a battering! So that is good news for you if you decide to go for baby number 2!!
How are you doing now hun, how are you feeling? I hope that your feeling ok and that with each passing day you are feeling a bit more like yourself. How is your gorgeous little man and Colin doing? What have you been up to... It would be great if I lived nearer to you, we could meet up for a cuppa and a chat, that would be so much fun!

Start Monday with your current weight, stats and goals. Tell us whatever you want us to know. Each week tell us how your doing. What you think worked for you, what didn't work. Even if you don't lose a pound and you eat 10 cupcakes in one day. Tell us, we'll try to get you through the hard times and share your good times too. If you have stuff you need to talk about during the week you can either message an individual person or send another blog with a title concerning your issue. You can invite anyone you'd like to be in our weight loss group but just try to always keep stuff seperate. You know, only use the weight loss page for weight loss blogs, posts, messages, etc. Friends in your network on that page should just be the moms wanting to lose weight and wanting to receive all of our Monday blogs. Hi! Sorry for the novel. I'm just sending this to all of you, because I have too many messages to respond to individually! LOL...you girls are the best. Thank you for all of your kind words and your love and friendship. Yes, baby Jude and I are home now. Our first night went very well. He is taking the Soothies bottles very well, and wakes to eat every 3-4 hours. My milk came in
WHOA!!! LOL...get ice packs on those babies! I'm not nursing at all this time, so I need it to go away. And the most exciting thing for me is that I was able to have a BM!!!!! LOL...you have no idea how much I dread that after pushing a watermelon out.
I am feeling OK, but I am still really in need of prayer. I didn't put it up in my birth story, but I had a terrible scare after Jude was born. About an hour after delivering I got up to go to the bathroom and started hemmorhaging. Blood clots were everywhere! I sat on the toilet and asked the nurse if that was normal. She RAN out of the room and when she came back she handed me 6 Cytotec pills...and THAT scared the crap out of me. Cytotec is used for abortions, and causes extreme contractions of the uterus, often leading to uterine rupture and can cause death. I was so scared to take 6 of those pills but I felt like I had no choice. It was either take them, or sit there and bleed to death. So, I quickly took them and prayed that God would protect me from the possible effects. Within seconds I felt funny. The nurse looked at me and asked if I was OK, I said I didn't feel good. All of a sudden everything went white and I went down. I could hear voices all around me, they sounded far away, and I was unable to respond. They kept asking me questions and I could not move. I felt paralyzed. I wanted to close my eyes so badly but they kept telling me not to. I just kept hearing, "she has no color", "her eyes are glazed", "she is burning up". Thye kept saying "Angie, Angie, Angie...come on", but I could not move. I knew I had gone in to shockand was likely dying. Finally I heard a nurse say "Anige, don't look down, look up at the ceiling." So, I forced my eyes to look up and that is when they carried me to my bed. They took my BP and it was skyhigh. They were staring at me like I was already gone! But
slowly, I began to cool off and respond to their questions. One nurse said "You are my hero. How did you come back from that?" And another said, "Don't ever do that again." While all of this was happening, my husband was holding baby Jude and crying his eyes out. He was sure he was watching me die. For the next 2 hours I laid in bed shaking like a madwoman as the Cytotec did it's job of contracting my uterus to stop the bleeding. They told Matt he was not allowed to leave me that night (he wouldn't have after that anyway). Throughout the night the nurses kept pushing on my belly and blood would gush out. They never told me how worried they were, but I could see it in their eyes. By God's grace I came around and the bleeding is much less now. I did have another scare last night, though. I had fallen asleep but all of a sudden felt so terrible that I jerked on my husband to wake him. My heart was racing uncontrollably, my back was throbbing, I felt so nauseous and like I was going to go unconscious again. The room was spinning and I was so terrified of having internal bleeding. He got me a cold cloth and sat me down in a cool room until it passed. My back still hurts awfully. I'm not sure if it's from pushing the baby out or if it's uterine related. They said that the reason I had hemmorhaged was because of the fast labor and delivery. I went from 3 cm to pushing him out in just 2 hours. The pitocin made everything go too fast and hard, and it cause a great trauma to my uterus that it could not recover from. But, I am doing OK and we are enjoying our new baby. It sure is a miracle that it didn't turn out for the worse. Thank you all for your love and prayers. As many of you are preparing to have your babies,
remember that it is still so dangerous. Even after having 4 previously I could never have anticipated the trouble I would have this time. I can't wait until you all have birth stories to share so we can chit chat about our babies. I am changing my name...

Hey, at this point in my pregnancy I will try anything for sure. I am so ready to have him here. Yes, very impatient. My doctor didn't want me to go until I am 38 weeks, so hopefully I will go then. Just wishful thinking on my part. Yes, we are all ready for him, I have been nesting like crazy, wanting the house spotless and things all put togehter, you know you just never know when it will happen. I read your blog the other day, I am so glad you are feeling better. I think you are doing all the right things. If it means anything I think you are beautiful just the way you are. And everything we go through for those babies is worth it, but I agree it is a big adjustment. I thought after I had my first, I would get right back into my clothes, uh, let's say that didn't happen. Not at all. Even your body changes, and you just don't fit in the things the way you used to. Hang in there, and I am always here if you want to chat. I totally know what you are going through. I think any first time mommy does!! Take care and hope you have a super weekend!!
