The pics of Britt are from her prom (do your high schoolers have a prom?) and a varsity letter is what the athletes get for playing on the varsity team of their sport. The varsity team is usually made up of 11th and 12th graders. Josh is a 10th grader so it's pretty special for him. -Amy

danish-girl - Tuesday, 27 May
Hi darling,
its on friday...they do it really slowly here (up to 5days) so I might not have him 'out' until tuesday (unlikely though).

I think he'll arrive friday or saturday - but we'll see

CrazyEights - Tuesday, 27 May
Oh, gosh, Clare, he is soooo beautiful. What a handsome boy. You are so blessed. How did the little guy bruise so badly? I've never seen that happen before. It probably scared you, huh? He is great. He doesn't look huge, he looks perfect. My family is doing great. We are super busy. Brittanie is graduating from high school on Sunday. Josh just finished the baseball season and has sports awards Wednesday night. He'll get his Varsity letter!! YAY!! (He's only a sophomore) Jessie and Jake have a full softball/baseball schedule going on. Add on the younger four and it's a zoo in here. LOL. How are you doing?? How's your family?? Let me know how you are. -Amy

Have now uploaded photos but may have cocked up a bit.... have recorded Connor's details twice and don't know how to delete one lot!

frannymum - Saturday, 24 May
Thank you chicken.
We were thinking about topping up with formula but do want to try solely breast feeding. Only slept about three hours last night... joys of living out in the country though - no traffic noise or drunken idiots stumbling out of the pub in the night (I do miss being a drunken idiot!)
Mummy and Daddy took Connor out for the first time since being discharged from hospital two days ago and got caught up in the terrorist attack in Exeter. We were literally two seconds away from where a suspected petrol bomb was said to be found. Never seen us move so fast, left Exeter like a bullet from a gun. No-one can say that the first few weeks of Connor's life hasn't been eventful.
Hubby is going shopping tomorrow so I will ask him to get some tea tree oil, although the pain is starting to get a lot more comfortable. Have to say that I was glad to get out of Exeter, like you, was walking around like I was riding a horse!!! Got some strange looks......
Best wishes and lots of love... Fran x

It was all a bit more traumatic than what I put on the birth story!! I actually lost 2 litre's of blood!! I was sick, faint and couldn't breathe on the operating table too!! I'll tell you it's pretty horrific when the medical staff are running around you shouting things like 'cross match A+' just like on Holby City. But I'd rather be where I was that where my hub was watching!! I thought I better be more selective with the old birth story just in case anyone was due to have one!!! How nice am I??

When I had the bad tear last time pooing was a huge issue, so much they wouldn't let me home until I did one!! Talk about pressure!!!!!!!! So I lied, probably not the smartest idea but never the less much more comfy than trying to go in the hospital in the toilets that all have two way locks!! And I know you know what I'm talking about!! lol!!

I would drink a gallon of prune juice and go to the loo with this weeks Take a Break with somebody minding the kids for a good hour!

And as for pain after the section, what are you talking about it was a doddle!! F. ME!!! Now I am lying!! Stupid baffoons who choose to do it this way for no good reason should be sectioned!!! xXx

danish-girl - Friday, 23 May
Aaahhh thank you darling! I'm still hanging in here. Now there is only 3 days until I go to hospital to get my first internal. Hopefully I will be dialated and effaced and what not. I haven't heard these words before I started using this website :-) They dont really tell you that stuff here - they just tell you if your cervix has opened and only if you make it all the way to 41+3 (like I will be on monday).

I keep telling him to come out and play but it seems he is just having too much of a dandy time in here :-) Dandy..haha...nice 70s word :-)

Hi sweetheart!
Still no Eden yet!!
Hopefully she won't take too long. You make me laugh girl! I can just picture Kane smelling your milk as soon as you walk in the room, lol!
Yes, there are some cool women on here, I have met, including you, some very caring and loving people, and I am so thankful for this site and a chance to share this precious journey with other women going through the same experience, very enlightening!
I will look forward to hearing your birthstory, you rock!!

Hello, glad to see you back.
Baby Connor was born last Tuesday morning. Waters broke at 01.40, went onto gas and air until 04.00 when I was 3cm dialated and then delivered him at 06.30 the same morning with no pain relief. You were my inspiration!! Did tear as his head got stuck for about 40 minutes. Am still very, very sore - had a bath a few days ago and used the wrong (not very mild) body wash and so now very, very swollen. Am now using baby wash....

Connor suffered a pulmonary embolism and collapsed lung immediately after birth. Was very broken hearted that the labour went so well and then he was quickly whisked away. He was on life support for three days but a week later, we are all well and home. He was discharged last night... so glad to be home!!! He is doing very well, breast feeding excellently and consultant is very pleased with his progress. He is keeping mum and dad awake most of the night though....

I love your birth story, your husband is awesome and WHERE IS A PICTURE??? I'm just kidden, I know it's hectic right now. Just wanted to check in with ya!!

MariaC - Wednesday, 21 May
Bloody hell!! Birth story page?? I haven't had the time or energy to pee!!!

I ended up having an emergency section as Baby Niall (squeak!!) decided he wasn't waiting!!!

I lost quite a bit of blood on the operating table, so things weren't great for a while.

I'm still sore now but haven't had time to dwell on it, I just groan a lot!!!

And forget laughing hurting, have you SNEEZED yet??? xXx

CrazyEights - Wednesday, 21 May
